Hi Brock, I Have the same problem, I have reinstalled the game but it did not help. I also contacted the “help” but have had no reply. I get round it by doing a few tasks then closing the game and reopening. I have to do this every ten to twenty seconds or it will crash but it does save progress. Hope this is helpful.

IPad Air 2. Game was fine till the July 3rd (or whatever day that was) patch when everybody had the problem. So it takes 30 seconds or so to load the game…then when I get in, i’ll Tap on the clear money icon or try to tap on a character job tasked its done. Most of the time, 15-20 seconds later it crashes. Then log back in, and try again. None of the tasks I did saved. Also have a few time where I can play for 2-3 minutes before the crash. But when I log back in, everything I had did, hasn’t registered and I try to quickly do it again. If I’m lucky, after 4-5 times of doing this insanity, I finally can get some of the characters to do their tasks.

Have you saved your game to an account, if so might be worth trying a fresh install.

I actually had a similar issue a few months ago.
I used to open the game, which took at least a minute sometimes much longer, try and clear character tasks and then it would crash. Mostly it would crash when trying to clear tasks from the Griffin House.
One thing I would do is leave it for about 10s between doing any action.
So I’d load the game, click Conseulas coin collector and then wait. Drag the screen about just to make sure the game hadn’t crashed. Then if it was fine I’d start clearing tasks 1 at a time waiting 10s between each collection, also visiting Ollie regularly to save progress, but leaving any tasks on the Griffin house until very last.
If it crashed at any point doing that and didn’t save progress I’d load the game up again and try a different path – skip consuela, clear 1 task, go see ollie, and keep doing that.
Sadly that’s the only advice I can give if you’re having this issue. My game eventually sorted itself out within a week and i don’t recall doing anything special to make it work, and dont remember sending them a support ticket.
Playing on iphone 7, wifi /fast broadband (so no internet connection lag), no other open apps hogging or causing memory issues.

Another week has gone by and I still can’t get into the game for more then 15-20 seconds…I believe this is week 3 now. I assume they are “still working” on it. I give up trying to play anymore. Can you please just post when they say it’s fixed . Till then I’ll just waste my time playing something else. Ha.

Nobody else is having issues as far as I know, so it’s likely the device at your end. Install BlueStacks or NoxPlayer on PC or Mac and just play on that.
