Any reason why part 3 isn’t until Thursday? I finished part 2 on Saturday without ff or clams or librarian. It helped that Stewie beat the magician with one shot most of the time. Guess I’ll just keep saving up chips and cards.

really winds me up when they throw in a later questline task to defeat that weeks baddy when for most of the week you’ve had to clear said baddy to get event currency to unlock buildings to progress questline.
even more so when battling the baddy uses up a lot of resources – in this case 3x cards per battle – when the drop rate is th dreadede (broke) ‘uncommon’ !
and unless you buy the premium character you have to do least 2 battles to clear them, which over the couse of the week is a lot of resources.
and then, to add insult to injury, they come along and say ‘if you could just go ahead and defeat X more before you can move into next week, that’d be great’.
i know its a rinse and repeat event with the same battle format we’ve seen for years but that doesn’t mean its any less annoying/frustrating.

Well, as the week goes on and all people need is drops of card decks to fight the magician, the drops go to nothing. Had a 1 out of 4, followed 8 hours later by 0 out of 4. I swear JC manipulates the drop rates during the week to make it harder.

Same problem. “Uncommon” drops way less than “Rare” does. Drives me up a wall.

When I defeat a Casino Worker what is the bag of money for? It drops, fly’s up to the right corner, and disappears.

Hi. I finished Part 7 of Week 2 several days ago and was wondering what you suggested stockpiling? Better to save up decks of cards for some future unknown use — or should I take advantage of the healing time now for Brian and Stewie and HALF-CLEAR casino workers, magicians, and the thug now — so that they could be rapidly cleared in week 3? Keep the decks of cards as dry powder or half-clear them now?

I realized that the Thug had no drops that were unique (that you couldn’t get elsewhere), so I just fought him once to reduce his health. Now since he has no timer, I can wait for stage 7 and easily defeat him.
The diamond drops are nice, but will we need them next week? Who knows.
