Wow. 9 Silver bats to defeat a single vampire (because you need to defeat a vampire before you can get a second character to help defeat a vampire). This is really demotivating.

Week two, phase two, money grab part. Not sure what to call it any longer.
Let’s double the amount of items needed (bats) which have a horrible drop rate already, let’s ensure that players can’t stockpile stuff by changing the item need slightly (bat tickets), let’s keep something in town roaming around that had meaning before but doesn’t now (or at least after a character is obtained), and let’s make sure that the only way to assuredly beat a task is by getting a character from a mystery box. Mystery box, no. Add a second way to get it with a defined number of clams, not this small-town circus worthy list of useless prizes with a gold watch hidden among them.

Well, instead of the ghosts, you have to clear vampires this week. Once again, you can only do it with Stiff Man, but this time they have 12 health, so now you have to fight 3 times instead of only 2 to fully defeat the vampire. This seems even worse than last week. Also, defeating the vampire is the only way to get the eyeballs to unlock buildings, so that will be slow going too. This week seems like a trick, not a treat.

Thanks for pleading the cause. As a bonus, I just had a Grey Ghost deal 12 damage to Captain Pedantic in a single blow. Where did that come from?

Is that supposed to happen? This morning, a vampire dealt Stiff Man 8 points of damage in a single blow. Meanwhile, neither Stiff Man nor Captain Pedantic has gotten a lucky strike this phase. It feels like the critical damage algorythm is working backwards.

Ugh. I’ve fallen victim to 3 in a row. First, the ghost on Pedantic, now two consecutive times with Stiff Man and the same stupid vampire. I think I dealt a couple lucky strikes opin phase 1, but I’ve only been on the receiving end in phase 2.
