Entered the giant board game 5 times….still no guests 😩

If you do get them, hit claim fast as if your game shuts down before you do you need reload and complete task again and you might end up with different reward

This is long so bear with me!
Since the event started for me I have had a yellow, rectangular box pop up on my game screen that says;
Pick a Difficulty!
A new event has started! Pick a difficulty and start playing!
(You won’t be able to change difficulty until the next event)?
(Then below that phrase there are 3 buttons you can press)
The 1st says “Normal”
The 2nd/middle says “Hard ×1.5reward”
The 3rd says
“Very Hard ×2 Reward”
Now first that extremely brief explanation tells us basically nothing, which I will grumble and say it happens way too often when anything new to try launches. What kind of things will be hard and what kind of rewards will you get in this format?
I didn’t press the button because I sent these questions to support yesterday and wanted to wait for an explanation before deciding since it stated it was a one time/ cant change choice. Since I hadn’t heard back and it continued to pop up I pressed “Easy” the next time. It popped up 2 more times afterwards (not continually and not even the same place, once was in Ollieland, once was in beachland, all the rest were main screen) and I decided to press “Hard”. It has popped up another 2 times now afterwards. *face palm* So I have no clue what that’s all about and am curious if this is happening to others, or if theirs gave them more info about it?

I spoke to support about this, it’s something new they are looking at, but caused issues when tested so withdrawn until they do more work on it

Been investigating the board game 4x now still no guests. I don’t love these event types as much.
