So the New Year partying is well over, the fireworks have burnt out and degraded, the season of goodwill is behind us and the third major event of the year is well underway in our games. Unfortunately it looks like 2023 is here to stay, well for another 281 days at least.
What’s a FGQFS Addict to do once the party’s over and the daily grind has returned? Well apart from enjoying breaking all those new year resolutions, how’s about helping Jam City to make some? C’mon lift your 2022 already weary heads from their Sunday slumbers and take this once in a blue moon, ok once in a year, opportunity to tell Jam City what YOU want to see in the Family Guy The Quest for Stuff game in the year ahead.
What would you like to see more or what would you like to see less of? What new characters or features would you like to see, or even what old characters or features you’d like to see brought back? Is there an event you loved that you’d like to see a sequel to, or an event you missed you’d love them to revisit? Is there any changes you’d like to see to the layout of the game, the inventory, anything at all?

17 weeks of repeated events (5 one-week events, 4 three-week events). At this point, I wish they’d just expand QHS with all missing non-licensed characters and turn this into a full-time grinding event. Or just announce the game is done with new content. The joy is definitely long gone.

1. Mystery box costs 170. I bought a useless character (Gillian) for 300, but before that I did not know that these boxes exist, because I play in the second phase for the first time (new player). I didn’t even see in the comments to various articles on the walkthrough that clams should be put aside on these boxes (becose callms are back). In short, I currently have 62 calms and there is little chance that I will be able to collect the rest before the end of the event.
2. In the my first event (casino) I was not given the opportunity to collect Stewie (favorite character, got it only yesterday)
P.S.: To open Stewie, you no longer need PB&J Brian and Falconer Peter costume and there were no problems in assembling it. I got him in a week (Could you please update this information for district 8 walkthrough). Thx, TinyCo 👍

I can’t check regarding Stewie but if he’s easier to unlock that’s great.
I stopped playing Hogwarts after a few months as I’m not a HP fan so game wasn’t really for me.

The ability to choose our event, especially if we’re going to keep getting repeated events. At least then we can go back and do an event we may have missed to get those characters.

New events with new characters. I have been finishing these last four or five events by Friday or Saturday because I already have the characters.
Also, could you make it so that when a character is needed for a task, and they happen to be busy already, that it gives the option to pay to finish that task when they happen to be in the Historical Society.

It would be good if it was easier to get more medals from the bank. I have just 27 characters and it takes for ever to get 300 medals for one character.

I would like to see the American Dad Family characters, house and CIA headquarters back. I had them but end up changing account so I got nothing now. It was a 2014 event, they could revive that.

How about a new event lol. It’s cool to let new players catch up but this is getting strange. I wonder if Disney is getting close to shutting the game down perhaps? I log in now about once a day to put all characters on the 8 hour medal task and that’s it. Not much motivation left and if I didn’t have 10,000 clams built up from playing for 4 years I would just delete the game.

I really like the Halloween event a couple of years ago at James Wood High and you got transported to another screen to search and fightf demons. Also, the He-Man, the gods, and Super Hero events were fun as well.

Maybe some sort of cross over with American Dad/Cleveland Show characters who should be available quite easily within the ‘MacFarlane universe’ – (appreciate this my contradict the ‘rehash of old events’ but it’s been 9 yrs since the American Dad crossover so would be a new event for a lot of players. personally, i starting playing in the final week of that event so i only have Stan from that set).
I’m sure a lot of characters have been killed off in-show, make use of the Lazarus Portal and bring a few back as ghosts. As it’s part of a district they can be permanent additions too with harder unlocking requirements – i recall some having ‘extra rare’ drops to stretch them out instead of having to speed blast within the usual event week timeframe.
An easier way to search for characters. Yes there’s FaceSpace but not all the characters are on it and in some cases you have to scroll down quite far to find the set that contains the character you’re looking for.
The ability to cancel character tasks at any point for zero reward, whether thats 1 min or 7h56m into an 8hr task.
Be able to put Peter in Tan Lines when he’s not being used.
Make use of multiple main characters more often in events and at each stage instead of having everything go through 1 character causing a bottleneck in Week 1 and then ignore them for the rest

The one I’ve sent up several times is for them to take event characters and remove them from the daily Tan Lines pool. That really should be a simple line of code – If they are in the event Then they are not available. I’m not taking someone from getting a mandatory currency every 4 hours and putting them on a 12 hour daily task just to get a green Stewie buck. And we definitely need something else to do with stewie bucks and silver coins.

If an event needs a character that’s in Tan Lines, it asks if you want to release them. If I have to use Facespace to locate them, it just tells me if they’re in TL and I have to go through all the levels. I’d like to be able to release that character in the same way.

I park all of my characters in QHS that aren’t being used for the current event. When a new event starts I would like a button that would send out only the characters needed for that event. If not that, at least have a way to send out a single character without having to send out everybody and then try to find that one particular character.
QHS medal requirements needs some serious rebalancing. The level I’m working on now needs 24k+ medals to earn the 4th tier character. Base on my medal earning rate that will take me a month! Also, you can purchase 7k medals for $100 so paying for that character would cost $350.
The events are getting really really old. It’s basically the same game mechanics repeated endlessly. Definitely needs something new.

I’d also like to see a few more floors added to the Tan Lines Resort. I know I could put characters but I don’t really like to. I like to keep the ones that haven’t maxed out yet and the characters that are usually needed in events in Historical Society and I’d like to put the others in Tan Lines but it only holds 365.

You (and a couple others with the same thought) are doing it backwards. Put all the most used characters in Tan Lines and put everyone not used or still needing to level in QHS. Then you can pull them out right away for whatever task is needed. Everyone else is then being useful getting QHS coins.

If events are going to repeated – have some type of task that earns clams for those who have all the characters/buildings. Need to keep them coming to the game or risk losing them.

I usually have all the unnecessary characters in Tan Lines…the ones that are never used. I have the others in QHS. It is such a pain to find a character task when they are in QHS. I decided to swap them and now all my never used characters are in QHS and the common ones are in Tan Lines….I’ll see how that works.
There should be a way to buy characters with coins or Stewie Bucks. I have amassed a ridiculous amount of both and really have nothing to spend them on.

The ability to find a specific character easier in QHS or Tan Lines would be awesome. For instance, if a certain character is needed, it would take you to that building then ask if it wants you to remove that character, instead of searching for or removing ALL of them to get to that one.
Also, the ability to cancel a task in progress would be great as well, so you do t have to sacrifice clams or watch ads just to speed it up. Watching ads for a speed up is great when you need certain drops, so it stinks to “waste” that just to get to a character you need for something else.

I’d like a way to search for buildings and decos in the storage. Also would like some more past characters added to the historical society. It took a couple years but I enjoyed collecting and unlocking them all. Even made me spend clams to get more special characters during events, which I didn’t used to do often. Now there’s no one left in the historical society and the ones in the season pass I usually have so just get the clams

The season pass for a ONE week event should not be the SAME PRICE as a 3 week event one i.e. 600 clams – it should be 200.
The medal price of QHS characters goes up at an alarming rate the higher you get – for me it’s now 20,000 which is more than 3X what it was…. and takes literally weeks to save up using ALL characters going for gold…. BUT when finishing the level you still only get 25 clams – the more expensive the characters the better the clam prize should be for completing.
Whats the point in providing Stewie Bucks in the season pass when there is literally nothing to spend them on.

Taking all characters out of the historical society job at once rather than tapping a couple of hundred times just to get to the character I want! Or at least the ability to remove a specific character for a quest. Plus more characters in the historical society to purchase with tokens as took about 2 years for the last update to this!

The ability to cancel what a character is doing would be great. Who cares if I have to sacrifice their progress on that task. If you send a character to do a job and 15 minutes later a required task pops up you are stuck waiting for them to finish or pay clams to speed finish immediately.

A way to find a specific character in QHS if needed for an event and a way to retrieve them. Make an action available that would allow the player to extract them from QHS immediately with no reward, but also no penalty. Why should I have to wait the time, pay clams to end, or video fast forward with ad play (if available) to get them out immediately?
Some recognition of who/what the character is while in QHS. Currently the player has to scroll through what could be a very long list and hope they remember exactly which character is which and at this point in the game they are starting to look like each other. Bad Luck Peter thumbnail is the same as Peter Griffin.
Make sure that the base Peter Griffin character (who cannot be sent to Tan Lines) ALWAYS has a event relevant task which drops an item of material, or in 3-week events the event currency.

I keep asking for the same thing but still haven’t gotten it. I want us to have another chance at “retired” characters like ALF, who I spent over 1,200 clams trying to get in the mystery box but came up empty. Also Superman, Tom Brady, etc. I’ve heard about permissions running out, but these characters are still shown on FaceSpace, and many players probably have these characters, so that makes no sense. Thank you.

If like to be able to see the different customed variants oc characters in a thumbnail style rather than having to scroll through them. I have loads of outfits for Peter, for example, and never know when to scroll left or right to look for a particular outfit. It currently too time consuming.

In no particular order:
Bring back the clam statue that you could buy for like 200 clams and it would drop 25 clams per day for a month
Mix up the events. Stop recycling old events. Stop the pattern of an easy one-week event followed by one of three 3-week events that just gets reskinned. Relatedly, bring back different worlds, such as Star Trek.
Make collecting gold quicker. Why should everyone have to be checked out and then checked back in in order to collect? That takes five wasteful minutes. It should just be an auto-collect, like the island hotel thing.
Make it cheaper to unlock character from QHS.
Instead of recycling old events, how about just having something like a two-month free-for-all where ALL of the old/prior characters (except for maybe ones where the license has expired) are made available for everyone to unlock.

I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to replay old events in order to earn characters that I did not obtain, specifically A Grimm Knight in Quahog. I have Westley but did not get Princess Buttercup. I have Miracle Max’s house but no Miracle Max. I also did not get Inigo Montoya or Fezzick.

Oh! And a button that takes us to the next available QHS character to buy. For instance, if you unlock 3 characters in a level, the next level unlocks. If you keep progressing that way, you have many characters in prior levels that aren’t unlocked and you have to scroll and scroll to get to them. The button would fix that. Not to mention, the scrolling is kind of funky
