Hello There Clammers!
Looks like not only are the Mummies back, but the questline is back as well! This update/fix has also introduced female Mummies! (and just a heads up tapping on some they award up to 20 booty each!)
Naturally with new females in the game (even if they ARE dead) Quagmire has to be involved! So the questline for Quagmire entitled Quagmire’s Old Lady…should kick off for you! (hint it takes 20hrs to complete his first task)
We’ll be back with full walkthroughs for Quagmire’s new questline AND the second part of Last Night, At the Museum soon…but for now just enjoy the game working as it should!

You can email them at help@tinyco.com. Make sure when you send the email you give them information like:
*What you were doing when the issue occured? (Like I was doing Peter’s task Shipoopi)
*What type of device you are playing the game on?
*Whether this is a re-occuring issue that happens over and over or if this is just on one time thing?
*Did you lose any in game cash/coins or clams resulting from the issue?
Family Guy Addicts 
I’ve noticed that the characters are no longer giving xp! Those that earn booty are giving booty and coins, while those that don’t earn booty are only giving coins now!
Is it a glitch?

Sometimes the XP won’t pop out but their XP meters will still go up. 🙂

I’ve got a big problem.
After some calculating, I added up that if I continue at the same speed, I will earn a total of around 27000-29000 trophies by the end of the event. I would be lucky enough to get the camel, but I really want the party pyramid. Any tips how to earn moon idols faster, other than peter’s 1 minute task?
Freemium player, currently have 6000 moon idols.
It just seems that, there’s no way I’ll get all prizes playing freemium, other than spending hours on the game, using Peter’s 1 minute task.

That’s really it. Frequent game play. If you set your characters on short tasks and go back to them often to clear and reset them. That’s honestly the only way to quickly earn idols…with out spending $ on premium items. The Mummies do help more than before, as some earn 2, 5, 10 and even 20 idols. Hopefully, TinyCo has something else up their sleeve, otherwise this is pretty hard to obtain if you’re freemium.

The game appears fixed for me. My ‘booze’ quests have now started. So thanks guys!
On a side note, has anyone noticed that the active volcano is no longer animated? Mine used to explode, now it doesn’t. 😦

So glad it’s fixed for you! And yes, sadly they had to take away the animation because it was causing issues with players games. If you check out this post it’ll show you what TinyCo said about it:

We’re waiting for confirmation but from what I’m seeing is 6-8 every hour.

All of the sudden I am not getting any mummies. I emailed tiny co. They said they forced a patch that should fix it. I’m still having the same problem. I’ve uninstalled forced close restarted my phone nothing is working. Any suggestions?

Hard close, restart your device and give it till the morning (unless of course you’re overseas and it’s morning there already). If they’re still not working email them again and let them know the patch isn’t working for you. But wait until the morning. Sometimes the in-game updates can be slow to roll out.

I just had a symbol show up on top of the pyramid just like when the event first kicked off. I pressed it but doesn’t look like anything happened. Anyone seen this too and know what it’s about?

It appeared on mine too before I opened it. Once i tapped the pyramid and opened it it disappeared. It think it was just something to unlock the Pyramid. It showed up late in some games because of the glitchs.

my game stopped working was working earlier but i guess after the update i keep getting a data error i restarted my game deleted and reinstalled the game still doesnt load i emailed tiny co hopefully they can fix soon im 12 floaties away from cleveland , i finished all the main quests and costumes

The active volcano is also no longer “active”… they’ve turned off that animation as well.

May I add that I just got a clam from tapping a mummy? just to let you know somehow this really did happen for me, but it must be a slim chance.

Yes, you now not only get “extra” idols, but the occasional clam will appear. Part of the Hot Fix update. 🙂

I just got into the game and noticed the hanger progress bar is blank.
I’m creating Adventure Peter, the timer is still counting down, but there is no progress bar showing up, is this going to be a problem?
I restarted the game a few times but it is still blank.

It might just be a texture glitch. It’s hard to say if it’s going to cause an issue until the timer is done…but I have a feeling it’s just a texture glitch.

Yup, as soon as it got down to the wire with a 3 minutes left to create the Indiana Jones costume, the progress bars started working again and I got it, so you were right, an animation glitch.

This New Game Crashing is Unacceptable, If they are developing an App, Then By definition the devices the “App” is running on is not a super computer.
They ” Tinyco ” then may have to dial back the processor demands and or program in a more efficient way this app.
The 2 devices i play on are now both not opening this game, in effect Tinyco has closed my account, will they be refunding the real world money i paid to develop my game play,, will they buy me a super computer to play this game on,,,,,

Why does the pyramid keep turning off & on? Past few days it’s been on with blinking pyramid edges & a beam of light. Just checked in a few minutes ago & it’s off now. Skimmed past posts for info., couldn’t find anything. What’s up?

They don’t want to drain the game. It takes a LOT of coding to keep that much animation going along with the Mummies running around. So they limit it. 😉

I just noticed that my pyramid stopped flashing too, right after I clicked the Ankh bubble on top of it. It was flashing earlier today, but now that it’s loading.. Mostly slowly, it stopped.

I think it was supposed to stop flashing once it opened, but it was part of the glitch that was occurring with the tasks and mummies.

Im still having lots of problems starting the game, the progress bar keeps moving to the end while it pops up the welcome back to gamecenter message..
Takes forever to start, this seems to be happening a lot tonight.

Could be an iOS glitch. I know a lot of people are reporting the issue. Could also just be a server overload

I don’t know about anyone else, but for the last half hour my game won’t load, the bar just goes slowly to the end and there is no pop up saying what the problem is..
