Popping in with a quick tip on who earns what color shot. Since there’s been some confusion among players as to who earns which color shot….I just wanted to share this image with you guys to help you out. Special thanks to Tristan W for sending us the great shot of ALL FOUR tasks and their shots!
So as you can see…Quagmire and Peter Earn Red and Blue, Cleveland earns Purple and Blue and Adventure Peter earns Red and Purple.

So since starting the event on Thursday, I have had to restart it twice because the only shots it wants me to get are purple. I have so many blue and reds and not once have I had to use them. So I’m curious…is anyone else having this issue? Because it’s incredibly frustrating

I’m probably posting this in the wrong place, but it am getting a late start on building the throne since I had my worker clearing land. As I understood one of the previous posts, I thought I should be able to start collecting shots while the throne is building but that doesn’t look like an option in my game. Did they take that away with the latest update? What am I doing wrong?

Only three characters (Peter twice) collect Jelly-Yo shots. Look for the 4 hour tasks of Peter, Adventure Peter, Quagmire and Cleveland. There should be a item box visible.

That’s what I was expecting to see but in my game it isn’t there. Do I need to wait until the throne is finished building to be able to see the Jelly shots?

No…I was able to start collecting WHILE the throne was building. Maybe TinyCo changed this ability.

So my throne has finally finished building and it shows that I somehow have 20 of each color shot already even though none of my characters have finished their latest 4 hour tasks yet and to my knowledge I didn’t earn any shots on their previous tasks. Not sure if this is a freebie or what, but I’ll take it! I’m still a little confused on how this game works and whether or not I’m supposed to defeat King Butt or hold off, and if I hold off, for how long?

First question…how many total idols do you have? If you are near or over 100,000, then you’ll need to defeat him twice to be able to unlock him. Since you already (Nice!) have 20 of each color, this will not be a problem. 3 shots beat him the first round…8 shots will beat him the second time. Don’t claim him as a prize until near the end of the event because it ends the jelly-yo game.

I only have about 43,000 idols right now, so I have a long way to go to get to 100,000. I don’t have too high of hopes that I’ll get there either and I have played daily, but I am a freemium player so I kind of expect not to get everything. So it sounds like I should wait until the end of the event to defeat him and try to collect as many idols as I can in the meantime. Thanks for the help!

I keep seeing people post red AND blue shot, blue AND purple, purple AND red. How come I only get one color after each task. Shouldn’t I be getting both color after each task? Otherwise they need to change that to OR instead of AND.

Each of the three characters have two different colors of jelly-yo. You are correct….you’ll either win one or the other. You have a 50/50 chance, but guaranteed to win one of the colors every 4 hours from each character.

At about 8pm Central time, I unlocked King Butt. Victory is mine!

Okay, once I was awarded King Butt, I no longer earn shots via Peter, Quagmire or Cleveland in order to defeat King Butt. I would have thought that we’d still have the ability to earn butts and defeat him until the event ended.

No more shots for me. I just claimed King Butt and the Gold Adventure Trophy. Once you do that, the shot game goes away. Finally! Between this and TSTO for the past month, I’m looking forward to sleeping more than 4 hours at a time. 🙂

Update I just played the Booty Box and scored 7000 Moon Idols, now I officially own King Butt. But I’m going to keep claiming more moon idols hopefully to win the rare prizes.

I decided to claim the Golden Peter Statue and now unlocked King Butt, but I notice you I can still claim moon idols during the event. For King Butt task:
Chug a Drink – 1 hr, 20 cents and 12 XP
Take Selfie – 4hrs, 50 cents and 30 XP
Get Angry Drunk – 8hr, 8 cents and 50 XP
Read Butt-Flex Magazine – requires level 5

You can still collect idols until the end of the event, but if you claim “King Butt”, the Jelly-Yo mini game will end.

So, if you are going to hit 100k ANYWAY, without needing to keep the streak going (40 PURPLE!!!!), then I can’t see a reason to spend clams on this. Because you are going to HAVE to spend clams to complete the streak.

You need 3+8+14+25+40 = 90 shots in 5 days (assuming you let the clock almost run out each time).
3 characters * 6 tasks per day (4 hour tasks) * 5 days = 90 shots, exactly what you need, right?
Well, if you get lucky enough to get 8 red, 40 purple and 50 blue you are set.
You won’t.
So either you needed to start doing this on Day 1, and not triggering the clock at all AND you got the necessary shots to complete all the defeat King Butt levels at once, OR you will need to spend clams.
