Valentine’s Day has arrived in Quahog & the residents of our Tiny Quahogs are really getting into the spirit of the holiday! During phase 1 of the event you’ll have the opportunity to get a little celebrity muscle in the mix to help you along the way.
Arnold Schwarzenegger will unlock for the purchase price of 250 clams in your store after you’ve completed The Beautiful People questline. Arnold will help you earn additional Valentines with his tasks & he’ll also help you earn more more hearts to help you unlock the Valentine’s Day prizes!
Of course when you purchase Arnold he’ll come with a questline….So what are we waiting for? Let’s take a closer look at Arnold and the questline you’ll encounter once unlocked…
Remember: Arnold won’t unlock for you to purchase until you’ve completed part 9 of The Beautiful People questline. So basically after you have Handsome Peter & finished out that questline.

Can we get Stallone, Statham, Lundgren,Li, Couture, and Crews and have an Expendables questline since we have both Bruce & Arnold? That would ROCK! I have Arnold but I haven’t checked out his lines yet. I’ve been too busy trying to play between all the crashing.

Interesting, today’s app push updated the couple’s timer in the lower right corner. Now they changed it to actually count down to the next couple’s appearance (every three hours), rather than just counting for the three minutes they are out.
Tinyco continues to impress me from a development standpoint, at how fast they are able to turn around these changes, and this one shows just how on top of things they are (especially for such a small code change with such a huge impact to play style). They are listening to the fans and players, and folks like B&A here at Addicts. Good job to the Addicts and good job to Tinyco!

I would buy Arnold if I had the clams. I thought about buying clams (for the first time ever) but I would have to buy the 275 pack for $9.99 and that is just too much real world money for me to justify spending on a character in a game.

I also just got a quest pop up for bonus valentines with a clams purchase. Thing is, there doesn’t seem to be anything much to spend valentines on yet, unless I want hundreds of flower hearts. Is that going to change in future updates?

Valentine’s are the Event currency. So every new item they release in the store (buildings etc) will require them. And as it gets later into V-day it’ll just cost more for items.

I’ve been thinking that KoolAid Man’s Girlfriend will probably be an NPC that walks around your town because she was featured in the show but didn’t do enough to have a list of tasks. Just my opinion but we will see when this part of the event releases.

i like him so far, no complaints. also, is the fact that there are 2 more park benches that look like they need to be repaired also probably a good indicator that there are 2 more characters that will be coming? i know glenda vajmire will most likely be 1 of them, but i can’t figure out who the other 1 could be.

Thanks to Arnold’s contributions, I have finally collected 75 broken hearts. Now I just need 74 more before I do that arnold quest that involves doing the task that earns love hearts.

Hi to all gamers. Got my refund, purchased clams, got arnie. Let me tell you its worth it. Not only does he help with hearts and v-day cards. His dialogue is hilarious. As of now he’s my favorite character knocking freddy to second and mclaine to third. Not a bad purchase whatsoever. Thanks t.co. and the addicts crew. 🙂

What happens to the valentines event quest line if I don’t purchase Arnold. I know it will be harder and take longer to get enough hearts for the prizes, but do I need to purchase him to get all the prizes and/or other potential new characters.
I only have 59 clams and I am not buying clams since it’s more important to pay my rent than buy virtual money.

No, Arnold will just help you get there faster. But you can still completely play the entire update 100% free

Tinyco isn’t making all this clear. I feel like since i didn’t get Arnold I have nothing to do in this game other than collect hearts. With 13 days to go the game feels deadlocked. I see two more benches and I can’t tell if I need to complete Arnold’s quest lines to trigger the event to move forward.

WTD! I may be a little slow here, but how in the heck do the stupid PDA couples work?!? I understand that you have to tap them for hearts, but I can’t tell the difference between them in order to get the two different hearts. Can anyone advise, as I have yet to win any prizes???

Watch them when they stop. You’ll see hearts floating over their heads. Red hearts are for love prizes, purple are for hate prizes. Do not collect both. If you collect 1 red heart and 1 purple heart you’ll just cancel them out and net 0 hearts. Bunny’s got a more detailed post on it here

Awesome character and very happy he has appeared, even made me go watch some of his old films, Commando, Predator and Terminator being a few! Should I go as far as Batman And Robin though?!……Only thing is i’m gutted he doesn’t say Hasta La Vista Baby or get to the chopper (or whatever that is exactly)…Slightly gutted he doesn’t have a task with Predator or come with a chopper again with a task called get to the chopper! Haha Finally this is a huge fingers crossed but we could get skins for him ie Terminator or Predator style then he can have tasks with Predator dressed in army gear and camo face paint! I’ve bought all but two premium characters and happiest with him so far, roll on easter, comic con and so on! Cheers tiny co!

It says he gives you hearts…What if you are working on Broken hearts??? I don’t want my premium character to negate my collecting purple broken hearts.

He gives you both. But during the questline you will get both sets…cancelling each other out.

well they only cancel each other out if you dont reset your meter in between those parts ;). If you play it smart, you can make sure Arnie works in your favor

Well I got him, happy so far about him, ,, but the harrier jet that comes with him, would have been nice if tinyco made it animated and lifted off the ground and tuned around or something

Bought him the first chance I could. I always buy premium characters no matter how useless they generally become after events, and he is my favorite overal character a far. He has so many funny ORIGINAL sayings and has been really beneficial in helping with hearts thus far. At first I was worried that his 4hr task would only yield one heart but was pleasantly surprised when it produced two.
I think TC hit it out of the park with him. Maybe not crazy about the fact you can’t buy him outright or the fact he was 50 clams more than usual, but I think he was totally worth it, personally. Just can’t beat the voice comments, IMO.
