Li’l Griffins Event is LIVE!

Update from Alissa: Hey guys, doing my best with the comments…trying to run both sites and take care of a little one so thanks for your patience 🙂  I also have to catch myself up on TQFS, as admittedly..it’s been a little while since I’ve played it.  So if you see a question unanswered in the comments, and you know the answer feel free to help each other out…
Now regarding the timers…just got word from TinyCo that the actual not counting down glitch has been fixed.  BUT the visual glitch is still lurking.  Here’s what TC has to say about it:
We’ve fixed the issue with the timers not counting down, but the visual bug is still an issue. If a player just minimizes the game instead of closing it, it looks like the countdown timer isn’t counting down. If they close the app the timer will update to the correct time.

Hopefully that helps you guys out for now! In the meantime, I’ll do my best to get to your questions and get caught up on what’s going on in the game.

A New Event just dropped into our silly lil games. Looks like there is going to be a lot lil stuff going on now. So get your Osh Kosh B’Gosh overalls, your box of broken crayons, and your light up sneakers ready… it’s about to get a bit childish in here.

• Player must be in at LEAST District 3 with Al’s Unlocked
• Player must have the Multiverse Machine placed in their game

Li’l Peter: In order to get him in the game, you first must place the Silly Clam. Once placed you will collect Materials for him. New Character, Fully Tasked, Comes with a Questline, He does have an animated task to fight with Li’l Giant Chicken.

STEROID CHICKS

These will start to appear during the first Part of It’s The Li’l Things  (I saw 9 total on my buildings in town). You will use the Spitball Shooter and Spitballs to clear them off of your Buildings.

Spitball Shooter: Just tap on a Steroid Chick to get the Shooter to appear. Select Load to load a Spitball. Tap Shoot to fire at them.

Spitballs: Peter Be Childish OR Lois Clean Up Barf OR Li’l Joke Shop OR You will automatically get 1 Spitball every 4hrs.

Additional Spitballs can be purchased from the Shopping Cart Menu.
Small Pack 3 Spitballs: 27 Clams
Medium Pack 5 Spitballs: 40 Clams
Large Pack 7 Spitballs: 49 Clams

You will see a counter for the Spitballs in the lower right corner of your game.

Steroid Chicks will randomly drop Stickers.

Peter will also start a few Side Questlines for each of the Mini Characters and to get Spitballs.

SPITBALL SHOOTER TIMER COUNTDOWN

Like noted in the comments, this is just a visual thing and it will work itself out. Just to ease your minds, this is directly from TinyCo on it.

It turns out this is a visual bug. If you minimize the game and then return to it, the timer will look like it hasn’t been counting down.

However, if you tap the X in the upper right corner to exit the Spitball Shooter then reopen the Spitball Shooter screen, the timer will display the correct time remaining.

We’re working to get this visual bug fixed, but in the meantime players should rest assured that their timers are functioning correctly.

Update from Alissa: TinyCo has removed the wording that says it’s a visual glitch, as many of you have noticed…it’s not.  Hopefully a fix comes soon.
