It’s football time in Quahog! Time to bust out the cheeseheads, pom poms, foam fingers and body paint and get ready for some football!
With this new Quahog Football Challenge Event, we also get some New Character’s. Including those won while completing the “Games” in the Scoreboard. Characters like Richard Sherman!
Let’s take a look at what Richard Sherman can do in our silly lil games.
Richard Sherman is a New Character added during the first week of Quahog Football Challenge 2016. As with many costumes in the game in order to get him you have to collect lots of stuff!
The stuff you have to collect for Richard Sherman came in parts and is first done so by completing the first 3 “Games” in the Scoreboard.
Tapping on the Scoreboard, then each individual Game as you complete them will let you know what you will require to pass them.
(These are the results per Bunny’s Game, let us know if yours vary)
GAME 1: Practice!
1 Footballs/Touchdowns: Reach End of Football Field (Always) OR Progress Down Football Field (Rare to Extra Rare)
GAME 2: London Silly Nannies
21 Helmets (Uncommon): Quagmire Throw a Short Pass OR Jerome Throw a Short Pass OR Tom Brady Make a Perfect Throw
2 Footballs/Touchdowns: Reach End of Football Field (Always) OR Progress Down Football Field (Rare to Extra Rare)
14 Weights (Common): Progress Down Football Field OR Football Jersey Chris Practice Blocking
GAME 3: Melbourne Platypuses
40 Face Grease (Common): Annoying Super Fan
31 Playbook (ALWAYS): Complete Requirements on Football Field
3 Footballs/Touchdowns: Reach End of Football Field (Always) OR Progress Down Football Field (Rare to Extra Rare)
21 Weights (Common): Progress Down Football Field OR Football Jersey Chris Practice Blocking
Once you completed all THREE Games and had them checked off as “WIN!”, you would then notice an “i“ in a green circle next to Richard.
Tapping on the “i“ brought you to his pop up screen.
Tapping on “GET” option will start pulling Richard into your game. First the Award screen, tap on “SWEET!”.
Then Richard is dropped into Inventory Storage.
Tapping in him in Inventory Storage will then pull him into Quahog with an Unlock Icon on your Streets. Tapping on the Unlock Icon will now pull him Live into your game as a Playable Character
He does come with a Questline, Media Blitz, more on that in another post.
Richard Sherman does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn $$$ & XP. He also has an “Alternate Task” to help earn 
Weights.

**Note: Within an Event, tasks may change and vary as the Phases come and go. So some of these tasks will be temporary. Others may be one time use. Some will stick around even after the Event. We won’t know until the Event Ends.

He is currently NOT voiced in the game.
There you have it, the first Character Prize from the Scoreboard and just what Richard Sherman can do in your game.

I know I m posting this after the event is over and we are deep into the star trek event now
But here goes
I still never got the Richard Sherman character into my game!
I have pix showing him checked off as well as a pix of him not being in my facespace I have the coffee cups trophy in my inventory from winning game 4 even to further show my further into the event
I went thru everything here several times unload and reloaded game still did not appear!
I contacted Tiny Co twice thru the game and once thru email cust support on their Web site and got NO response what so ever from them!
This site is the only place that I have gotten ANY help from which I greatly appreciate from you and your peeps!
The reason I’m following up on this is my thinking come Big game time next year and based on the current event going on now being a returning event that TC is gonna do the same thing next year with the big game and if you have last year’s characters/skins you will already have a head start on the big games big board!
So I am asking if you might able to use your “sources” and have them look into what might have happened or some kinda compensation for my diligent grinding

My question would be this… did you pull him out of Inventory like noted I the steps above?

He never appeared in my inventory
The only place I saw him was on the scoreboard….
I did search everwhere for him

All I can suggest is to contact them as if you did check him off and follow the steps in this very post, then you should have gotten the pop up screen, have him drop into Inventory, then had to pull him out into the game.

Been playing every 2-4 hours and still a long way to go to get Sherman. Feel bad for folks not able to check in as often.

I have finished the three games and have Richard Sherman but have not gotten the three awards for finishing each game what do I need to do to get them! Thanks for your help!

What 3 Awards are you talking about? The ONLY “award” you get is the Character /Costumes by completing the required amount of games.

I’ve unlocked the 1st football player on the scoreboard but I can’t start collecting for Bonnies outfit? I’m I not going to be able to start till the next week? (This week now) it’s really confusing.

Not that I am there yet but I am just a tad bit curious. Tackle Jesus….does he drop 2x’s the clams? So instead of dropping his normal 1-2 with that skin he will drop 2-4?

Can someone help me out every time I get to the end of the field my game closes and I have to redo it I have not gotten a touchdown tet cause it keeps crashing

I am on Game 2 right now and collecting for Gronk. When getting downs, books are not dropping, just coins. I know we need books again for game 3. Is this nornal? Grease cans are dropping fine and I do not need them now until game 3, so not sure the difference.

Every Event drops in “Phases” were once a week (usually Thursday) new content is released until the Event ends.

I’m close to unlocking Gronk. I should have everything I need by tomorrow morning. But that will take all (or most) of the weights I need to win the third game (I’ve won the first two). I’m about halfway on the requirements for game three. Would I be better off holding back on Gronk and getting Sherman, since he’ll help with the weights or does Gronk have a task for the weights also?

He doesn’t drop anything yet, but may be useful in Phase 2… so you still should work at getting him eventually.

I think that’s a good pace for Freemium. You’re still a couple of days away from week 2 launching, so I think you’re on a fine pace 🙂

It looks like I have collected a bunch of face grease for the 3 rd game even tho I haven’t finished the second game yet. I hope they will count towards that when I get there an I don’t have to start collecting all over again.

I think so too. But I noticed I don’t get any playbooks anymore since unlocking Chris. Only coins and/or weights. So looks like I need to start afresh collecting 31 of them once I’m done with game two. Uff.

Weird. I have not been getting playbooks at all since i collected Chris. I am done with face grease or very close to it for game 3.
I have to decide whether to get Gronk or finish game 2. I guess i better finish game 2 so i can get the playbooks to start dropping again.
Helmets dropping is not a problem, the weights are a pain. They are what i have to decide on between gronk and game 2.
