It’s football time in Quahog! Time to bust out the cheeseheads, pom poms, foam fingers and body paint and get ready for some football!
With this new Quahog Football Challenge Event, we also get some new Characters. Like Rob Gronkowski!
Let’s take a look at what Rob Gronkowski can do in our silly lil games.
Rob Gronkowski is a New Character Costume added during the first week of Quahog Football Challenge 2016. As with many costumes in the game in order to get him you have to collect lots of stuff!
First you had to place Just Balls Sporting Goods for $870 and wait the 4hr Build Time.
Once it was complete Building, you would then see Rob pop out in front of it with a lock icon, tapping on the icon will show the individual bubbles of the Materials you would then need to collect to pull him into your game.
Requires
14 Kittens (Rare): Football Jersey Chris Binge on Game Day Food OR Annoying Super Fan
25 Helmets (Uncommon): Quagmire Throw a Short Pass OR Jerome Throw a Short Pass OR Tom Brady Make a Perfect Throw
15 Workout Meals (Common): Bonnie Clip Coupons OR Meg Take a Summer Job OR Lois Buy Groceries
12 Weights (Common): Progress Down Football Field OR Football Jersey Chris Practice Blocking
Once you have finished collecting the Materials for him, you will see a bouncing Unlock Icon over him by his Building. Tapping on the icon will pull him live into your game.
He does come with a Questline, Party On!, more on that in another post.
Rob Gronkowski does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn $$$ & XP.

How long is Gronk’s jersey task? I haven’t been able to locate the time in the posts, just a mention that he drops jerseys now. The post about him doesn’t list it either, as far as I can see. (The task was added after that was posted.)

Unlocked this guy hoping he’d help. Nope.
I can’t finish game 2 because I need weights.
The best way to get weights in on the football field – Chris takes 8 hours.
To progress on the field helmets are getting taken off me. I also need helmets to finish game two.

13 wrights away from winning game 2. Really wished Gronk helped with SOMETHING as I am 2 kittens away from unkocking him. Touchdowns and weights have become elusive. Often times I get a coin instead of anything I need….bummer! Maybe I will get somewhere good soon….prior to week 2 going live at least I hope so.

Accidentally ticked him off and thus also find myself needing items to finish game 2. I have 5 footballs, but need weights to continue. Really hoping he soon starts to help with items.

So- he doesn’t actually help with the event? If so, I should give priority to winning games with the stuff he also needs, until Touchdown Jesus is mine. Unless of course they make Cuddle Adorable Kittens a visual. Sorry, Jesus. Kittens rule.

I’m a little disappointed that he doesn’t drop and helmets or barbells or any their items. I went for him first before winning second game and progressing to Sherman – hoping he would drop stuff. Hopefully that’ll change.

I think I made a mistake, I was using my resources to unlock him before winning game 2, and now I think I’m very behind on resources for winning games. I was hoping Rob would have an action to help out with those.

I agree. I used all my weights on him, and was going to unlock him after I got enough helmets since I thought he’d serve some useful purpose, but if he doesn’t then I should just focus on beating those sissy nannies.
