TinyCo have dropped this in our games to help players out a little, and the items you see will depend on what you still need, it costs only 10 Donuts a try. And the very least you will get is a few Old Fish or Detective Badges in exchange for your Donuts. I got 3 tries, so I won’t 2 Detective Badges, 8 Old Fish then another 2 Detective Badges.
So go find it in your store and give it a go, you’ve nothing to lose but a few donuts.

Donut mystery box was good since about all I seem to get is boxes of donuts. Wish they would run it again. I’m sure they’ll be some decos to spend them on later anyway when the event starts to wind up.

Boo…got Beach Balls 2x and Badges 1x.
Still need 14 Seashells for Lois’s swimsuit; and not having Slot Machines are the least of my problem with Sharks.
+Currently on Week 2 while Chris Sniffs some Glue.
6 Robbers were a challenge.
Quandary….spend badges to get Bonnie’s outfit? Or save until I get access to/ whatever is needed for P Anderson? Probably won’t buy Hasselhoff. [Ponyed up on clams for MacGyver though. 💓RDA!]

Thanks RT!! I unlocked P Anderson just at the 7 day deadline when the event ends. I think since I saved the badges I’ve got a chance, drops are looking good so far (whistles are a bit low).
And I now have enough badges again to go back and get Bonnie’s outfit…not going to advance much further so ++ to TC for getting rid of the crappy 24-hour timer for Hub-prizes again!!)

Good luck, whistles started slow then picked up for me, I unlocked her with more than 4 days left on her timer, so hope your drops are as good

I got 5 beach balls, fish, and then 5 beach balls again. The second round of beach balls gave me more than I needed for Lois. So I now have 23 for the 21 required.

…definitely hoped for some Old Fish& badges, but nope got 2 tries of beach balls& last try got shells so will be unlocking LifeGuard Lois real soon! i had gotten all of the sunscreen first, needing only 1 more mousse& 1 more beach ball,& 5 more shells!…also cannot get ANY robbers to come out for pt.6 of week2 main questline “Let’s Play Some Cards”where i have to clear 6 robbers to move on of course Lol😂

i got 4 shells + 4 shells + 8 fish …
i thought i could buy more boxes with donuts (i still had 150 donuts) so i clicked again and it took away 150 clams from me !!!! and i got Stripper Jerome !!! he is cool and funny i guess but now i only have 60 clams left and Consuela is pushed even farther away from me 😦 😦 😦

I nearly did that when the donut box disappeared but I was being way as often these “free” boxes only allow three tries. Glad you got a costume at least.

Received bones, shells, bone…still only have 9/18 for Lois…it helped a little, but, frankly, I’ve only found six sharks since last Friday night…ugh…and the tape drops remain pathetic, I average about 4 per day, so I can only send Erik investigating twice in Room 1 per day…I’ve messaged TinyCo the last two days in a row, just got the canned, “We’ll pass along your concerns to the team” response…ugh…this event is so discouraging…just not fun at all…

I’m still in Phase I, having had rotten luck getting Bertram to join the party. The two items in my mystery box were 7 medical samples and 2 badges. I got the samples twice and the badges once.

I was able to unlock Lois with the shells. So I should be able to move move on tonight! This was the first ever event I was so behind on. The Android delay and the crap tape drops was hurting me. Glad to be caught up after her 4 hour task. And the plus side I was able to stock up on badges thanks too 9 life Consuella. I decided to wait on the Bonnie costume, because it would really wouldn’t be any use to me, with never having enough tape anyway. So I’ll be able to get all the next buildings faster.

My results for the “We realize you keep finding donuts and we’re sorry about that” mystery box were fish, badges, and fish. Unfortunately not enough fish to redeem for badges, but hopefully the will come in handy shortly, and I have two more badges than not, so thanks TC!

Is there a glitch going on with the sharks or the blackjack room? In my game it’s empty. It says “chance of” and the area is just blank.

Have you got more than 5 Card Sharks already in your town, or Robbers. The option disappeared in my game when either of these built up wandering in my town.

Yes I did. I was confused about the amount of sharks that you could have in your town at once because I saw a comment where someone said they had 8 sharks roaming around. I didn’t realize that there was a limit. I got rid of one and it’s working fine now. Thanks for the info =)

I’ve been struggling to get the last four shells for Lifeguard Lois. Got 4 on my second try with this, so thanks to them for this! I got the shells and two bunches of fish bones with my 3 shots. Had I not gotten the shells I would have been po’d.

The problem, at least for me, with this new box is that I used it about 3 times and it disappeared, so it’s either a glitch or not meant to last long enough to spend all your donuts on it.

As they are admitting they got it wrong by doing this, I hope they do the right thing with the challenge and give the prize to everyone.
