It’s time to go outdoors!!
Yes with the new Wet Hot Quahog Summer event, we’re getting some new Characters Costumes and one of them just happens to be Great Outdoors Joe.
Let’s throw you some information on what Great Outdoors Joe can do in our silly lil games.
Great Outdoors Joe is a New Character Costume added during the Wet Hot Quahog Summer event. He is the prize in the first set of Achievement Tasks and in order to get him you need to collect a lot of Fishing Tackle. Tapping on Al’s will take you to the costume and you’ll see your Fishing Tackle totals there.
Requires
129 Fishing Tackle (Always): Complete Achievement Tasks
Once you have finished collecting all the Fishing Tackles his Costume requires, it will just take you just 1s to finish up and “CREATE!” the Costume in Al’s. When the timer is up, just tap on the Check Mark above Al’s to pull Great Outdoors Joe into your game.
He does come with a Questline, Fishing For Compliments, more on that in another post.
Great Outdoors Joe does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn $$$ & XP! He can also man the Cannon as a Leader in Camp Wars.

**Note: Within an Event, tasks may change and vary as the Phases come and go. So some of these tasks will be temporary. Others may be one time use. Some will stick around even after the Event. We won’t know until the Event Ends.

Made it into the week 4 part of the game and still trying to get enough hot dogs to unlock the last 2 items for Outdoor Joe.
Brian too, but I’m still only about halfway for him.
Got Ben, Susie and Lois will be impossible.

After endless pranking, I still need 2 hot dog badges (and two achievement badges), but it now seems (don’t jinx it) possible. Brian too, based on the tasks available.

Ha! Just as if by magic, I finally received the last ‘All-Star Athlete’ card needed to upgrade her, which caused a cascade of achievements to complete, allowing me to collect all the remaining fishing tackle and unlock Great Outdoors Joe!

still need 24 eating badges, for Joe….when I contacted Tinyco support” about the “low drop rate” this is what I got.

I haven’t made any further progress towards unlocking Joe since reaching phase 3 last weekend; the only way to continue earning fishing tackle now seems to be through pranking for standard care packages, but I’m not winning anything that I need to complete achievements, so I’m stuck 36 short.

I suspect for many of us he can do nothing as we can’t get the go kart track …
