As we continue to dabble in the Darkside our latest event journey, TinyCo has popped another Mystery Box into our lil Quahogs – the Arms Up Mystery Box!
Now I know many of you are curious about the items inside and just what you are taking a risk to get by spending those precious 135 Clams, so let’s jump on in and take a closer look.

Nope! I’m passing on the mystery box : clams are too precious too waste on a chance that I might end up with something
useless like gas cans!
I’m really hoping that they bring back past Halloween characters for a chance to purchase ( similar to what they did recently when they made a few Greek Gods available to buy) I’d jump at the chance of owning Chucky or Pinhead!!

It’s funny how I can resist the urge to drop clams on a guaranteed premium character, but I have to physically restrain myself from buying the mystery boxes even though I know the prizes almost never end up being worth the clams you spend. I’m a sucker for mystery, I guess.
I’d love to see a permanent mystery box for past event characters only (no materials). Of course they couldn’t be from super recent events or there would be less urgency to collect all the characters before the event ends. But maybe from events from 6 months to a year ago and up. That way players that started later in the game could still have some of those characters and veteran players could have the advantage of keeping those clams as a reward. I’d easily pay 200 clams (maybe even 250) a whack for something like that. I’d even complete more offers (or maybe even purchase clams *gasp*) to get them all.
I just hate knowing my little Facebook character database thing will never truly be at 100% completion 😭

I took a chance and got Possessed Meg. I have enough clams to try 2 more mystery boxes but may not chance it again. Plus it’s Friday the 13th and I’ll likely end up with the chainsaw killer decoration or livers; neither of which I need.

meh would rather just buy danny trejo instead of spending lots and lots of money on decorations and items to try and win him…. i have bad luck with mystery boxes

Good luck to you RT to get the big prize on the second try!. I was really hoping to try this because I thought even the materials could be somewhat useful (except the gas cans which I have a ton already). Until I looked into the decoration that I already have. Not worth trying to get a second one of those. I will save my clams this time.
