So if you’ve not done so already get to your App stores now, you’re looking for version 1.58.3. I’m only seeing the full event on IOS and pulling info now, but I am having issues with the upgrade loop striking again. But I’ll get the LIVE post up as soon as possible. Until then you can throw caution to the wind as there is NO timed content.
Yes let me repeat the good news, David Copperfield is not timed so go ahead and repair him in the event area to start working on him. However you will win 25 clams if you do unlock him within 7 days, but as I say it’s only those clams that are timed not the character.
UPDATE: IOS users please ensure you go the App Store and check you’re on version 1.58.3. Android users, please keep watching your Playstire as this update should be with you soon.

I kept getting the message that my device wasn’t compatible with the update, so I uninstalled the game and now its not even showing up in the Play Store. WTH???

Yes, I keep doing manual searches for the game and nothing comes up except for the other family Guy game. I have the latest version of Android 7. I had sent a message to tinyco from the game but I can’t get to it because I deleted my game and now I can’t find it to reinstall it.
I even went to the app store on my actual computer to download it to my phone and it says my phone is not supported.

I haven’t seen it live yet (Android), but yesterday I did get a quest for 50% off ($4.99) of Bertram. I didn’t have him yet, so I went ahead and picked him up. Also, two new parcels of land opened up and they only took 1 hour to complete.
I’ve been spending the last couple days between events to clean up my town a little…..I got way too much going on.

Hey everyone, I took a chance and uninstalled and reinstalled the game and low and behold I can now see the new event, so if anyone else is still having a problem, just uninstall and then reinstall and it should work, it worked for me. Good luck all

I decided to send a message to TinyCo about this problem with the update thing and the only response I got was that I wasn’t updated to the latest version even though I am. Apparently they don’t think that there’s a problem so I am missing out on the new event because they can’t seem to get there act together. I sent another message to them saying that I did have the latest version and that everybody else was having the same problem, so now I just have to play the waiting game, ugh

I’m on IOS and I had to update twice but now have no issues, so far so good 😊. Did anyone get a Bertram 50% off offer to buy and is there any info on his character? Searched the archives but could only find Quahog Heat material.

There is a timer on David Copperfield. It’s for Clams. If you get him in 7 Days you get 25 Clams.

I have the updated iOS app, can open app and see Lois and Joe are out of Tan Lines, but then immediately tells me to upgrade for great content. Hitting affirmative only takes me to the App Store where it confirms I am on the right build. So… waiting. Thanks, RT!

Excellent article title. TinyCo has taught me to live in fear of timed characters. (I think it’s now my second most disliked thing about the game, only behind being required to create a new outfit for Peter for every single event.)
