Worry not Clammers!!!
It’s not the end of days. Nor is it the end of the world. It’s only the end of the Fear And Loathing In Quahog event, and as much as you’re probably thinking “I need more time”, I’m afraid to say for most of us it’s running out, but a glitch has meant for some of you it already has.
Remember for most of us this event is scheduled to end on 29th November 2017 @ 3pm PST (that’s GMT-7).
However I know there’s been an issue that saw the event end prematurely in some players games, if you’ve been impacted you should be seeing the following message pop up in your game:
We’re sorry, a technical glitch forced the ‘Fear and Loathing in Quahog’ event to end for some customers a day early.”
I’m trying to get more information on this for you as I know many of you are stating you were only few items swaying from unlocking characters etc.

Just starting the game minutes ago, and to my surprise they gave me a chance to buy all unclaimed characters for the event for 10 coins each. I only need to unlock Liberace so that’s 10 coins for me! I’m happy again!!

I received nothing for the event ending early. Logged in a few times today to check. When I messaged them yesterday, they said they were working on he glitch and will inform me of any updates, but nothing yet. For those of you who received some compensation, how did they tell you? In game message? In the help & support menu? I was two items away from getting Showgirl Brian and definitely would have completed him.

I gave up about 10 days ago, first time I’ve ever given up. I’ve been playing FGQFS almost since it first came out. This quest was bad, I tried, I really tried, but nope, walked away. Really hoping for a fun Christmas quest like TinyCo did a few years ago!

This event was terrible. I do not want my fate to rest on a wheel of a chance- especially in a game where no one ever wins the big prize on the regular daily wheel spin. Other than that, I was doing OK, but that’s so effing important to this event that I got nowhere. Well, I got P&T at least.

Ok, so when I opened my game yesterday I got the “ending” message and my Fear and Loathing Overlay was gone. I went into Harringtons and used my Green Spin ticket to buy pimp Stewie and the F&L overlay returned to my game and I was able to play on. Not sure if that will help anyone else? Sorry to everyone who lost a day 😦
Also, this game dropped 1 day late (Thursday) so I was hoping to have an extra day or a few hours to complete. Like several other people have mentioned, just 4 more hours and I would be able to get Liberace and finish the game. As tough as it was in the beginning, a full 3 weeks would have been enough to complete.

Worst event ever! No chance of getting Liberace and need a couple more days for Brian (ain’t gonna happen). Blame goes to terrible drops on roulette wheel and only one person (Lois) getting diamond chips.

Ended early for me, yesterday. Soo close to unlocking SB(Showgirl Brian), but the wheel spins did nothing to help. Wasn’t too excited for Liberace, so not really missed. They gave me clams as a consolation prize(whoopee), however, I still have three tasks stuck on the drop menu . Long story short: The whole event was one BIG disappointment.
Quick question: Has ANYONE, won a meaningful prize from the Spin-N-Win?? Not talking coins or xp(pretty much useless at this point). Since it’s placement, I’ve won three clams(again, whoopee).

I actually won Human Rupert on the spin and win maybe a month ago. Have won some clams once or twice as well. Maybe that’s why I got such terrible drops on silver roulette during this event to make up for my luck on the spin and win.. Lol

I won 10 clams, once. Otherwise it almost always comes up money or experience points, which are worthless to anyone who has played the game for any length of time.

I’ve won 3 clams a couple of times and I actually won 10 clams just the other day, but that’s it. I actually think winning a useless deco as the ‘jackpot’ would just make me angry…
However, I have seen the wheel ‘skip’ when it comes up on the clam prizes, so it’s obviously programmed to pay clams on a very limited basis…99% of the time, it’s just coins or xp…grrr…

I am there with ya! I was 5 capes away from Liberace, and I already had the needed bags of cash, just waiting for him to wake up. grrrrrr
As for that spin and win wheel, since it came out, other than coins and level increases, which I am already maxed out on, I have won the 3 clam prize twice!

I, too, was just about to unlock Liberace. Beyond frustrating since the event started a day late for me and I’ve been obsessively trying to get all of the characters. The only one left to unlock was Liberace and I was SO close!!!! Any idea how or if Tiny Co will make this right?

Forget it. The game screwed up on me in the “Fast Times at Quahog High” event where it kept crashing when you completed all the weekly challenges and tried to claim Michael Pulaski. I was close to unlocking Cameron Frye, and although support awarded me Pulaski, because they acknowledged I DID earn him. they did nothing about my getting screwed out of Frye.
My game’s still going, and I sped up some tasks via clams (I watch videos on my mobile device every day to get the bonus clams, so I have a few to burn), and I got Show Girl Brian, but there’s less than 20 minutes to go as I write, and I’m giving up on Liberace. I figured even if I bought bags of cash to hurl at the casino boss so I can get the capes, the value of the capes (38 clams each) isn’t much more than I’d have to spend in clams to get the number of bags of cash I need (128 clams for 2 lousy bags, they should give you three, for that cost) in exchange for enough capes. Still need 5 cufflinks, but I don’t have 10 hours to wait for his piano to give them to me, and the diamond roulette wheel is too unreliable. Not worth spending clams to get diamond tokens OR to speed up the time until the piano cashes out. Liberace’s been dead for years, anyway! Why is he even in the game if he’s not a ghost? They should have gone with Wayne Newton or Carrot Top, or someone for the last character…Carrot Top would have been perfect. He’s practically a cartoon character, anyway.

I had just dropped Liberace when the event ended early, so I knew I had no shot at unlocking him, but I totally understand the anger players who were close to unlocking him – this event was a total grind, IMHO, way too difficult and frustrating for too many players…I know this is a family channel, so I won’t mention the three words I would recommend for the end-of-event poll, LOL…

Personally I’ve been playing this game since the start almost three and a half years ago now. If my memory serves me well enough, I have to say this is probably the worst event the game has ever had next to that mob one when they introduced the worldwide leaderboards.

I don’t know, Camp Griffin was pretty awful and, at least for me, was just as frustrating. But that is still pretty bad company.

ended for me about 10 days ago. fell massively behind in week one due to rubbish payouts on the roulette wheel and never caught up.

They’ve given me close to 100 clams since my game ended early. Sucks because i was close to having Showgirl Brian but there is nothing i can do.

They won’t. A glitch in claiming Michael Pulaski that forced me to miss the final 30 hours of “Fast Times at Quahog High” made me miss out on Cameron Frye. They gave me Pulaski because I earned him, but they didn’t give me Frye. If they do give you all Liberace, then I’ve got a major complaint about that.

I did see a couple others here mention the game crashing when you tried to claim the 4th weekly reward (needing to earn them all to get Pulaski). That’s just HERE. Who knows how many people playing this game worldwide ran into this problem…

Ended early for me, around 7:30pm last night. Got the usual end of event message on the screen saying the event had ended and my game needed to reload. A little while later, after I contacted them in-game, they said it was a glitch. Then we got the in-game pop up you mentioned

I had the message last night when I opened my game. Secretly I think I was somewhat relieved as the last almost two weeks have been terrible. I cannot win on the silver roulette wheel and still don’t have Penn because I can’t get cigarette packs. I have a ridiculous stack of gold certificates and stripper boards however. Then, possibly to a bit of dismay, I realized that although I got the message my event had not ended.. Sooo I soldier on at least hoping to unlock that one last character and bid this event farewell forever. Good luck to everyone else trying to finish up some goal before the deadline. Here’s hoping Christmas brings a fun event that rewards effort a little more and doesn’t tilt the odds quite as in favor of the house..

The event finishing early was such a load of ****. I was literally about to collect the last item for Penn when I woke up, and try to get at least something from Week 3. I had a huge amount of golden coins and the various tickets. But now I haven’t been able to do anything all day and it’s still not fixed

As I head to bed, it looks like they have no intention of letting us finish the event properly. I’m truly trying to think of a single reason why I should continue playing this game. It was an awful event, with an even worse ending

The 50 clams were a joke. As if that’s suppose to appease folks so so close to unlocking a character they spent days trying to unlock.

At least you got clams. When I tried claiming Michael Pulaski in the last event, the game crashed, and I got locked out of the the game for 34 hours, including the last 30 of the event. Support gave me Pulaski, because I earned him, but nothing in exchange for costing me a shot at another character (Cameron Frye) that I was on course to unlock.
