Yes, the Titanic event has sunk from our games and it’s time to get your Christmas jumpers on as the festive event is live. So if you’ve not done so already get to your App stores now, you’re looking for version 1.59.1. I’m seeing the full event on IOS and pulling info now and I’ll get the LIVE post up as soon as possible. Until then you can throw caution to the wind as there is NO timed character to unlock.
Yes let me repeat the good news, there is no unlock timer on Willie Stokes, he is not timed so go ahead and repair him in the event area to start working on him. However you will win 40 clams if you do unlock him within 7 days, but as I say it’s only these bonus clams that are timed not the character.
***Sorry I’m on vacation at the moment and some WiFi issues at the hotel are slowing down my event progress but full overview should be up in a few hours, thanks to friends and families WiFi, Ho Ho Ho***

Anyone also got major issues playing via Facebook? On desktop I still don’t have the xmas update, so it says: ”we’re updating the game, you can play on mobile though”, For me it’s practical to be play on my desktop too but it’s impossible for about 3 days now

I’ve got the update on Facebook since yesterday, but I have the same problem as in two events ago : the “frame” with all the buttons, levels, and so on, is at a wrong size, and hides part of the screen.

For the first time ever, I have had to uninstall and redownload FGTQFS… Even though the App store showed the newest version (1.59.1), and my iPhone 6 (iOS 11.1.2) showed an older one (1.58.3, I think), I was not offered the download/update. (The update WAS offered, and installed, with no issues, on an iPad, running the same version of iOS, however.) Fortunately, after deleting the app, and reinstalling it, I am up and running again!

I had the same issue with Tapped Out, so I’m wondering if this is part of a wider Apple issue.

This change from timed characters to timed clam prizes is great, and I hope it continues. There’s a huge difference between the carrot and the stick, as it were, in how people feel about the game.
I bought Marcus, because it looks like clearing informercial guys is critical to upgrading the tree, which looks like it may help all event long, and shopping at the mall. A boost in the first week can be very helpful in starting off subsequent weeks well, and that momentum can carry forward tremendously. Like when getting Superman for the DC Comics event basically was a huge boon for the entire rest of the event.

12 hours since I started the event and I’m already going insane. My game is crashing all the time. Samsung S6, plenty of memory and I usually have never problems with crashing. I bet the reason are AGAIN the stupid snow flakes like before. Too bad because other wise I’m really enjoying this event.
Anyone else having the same problem?

I’ve had few issues on IOS but put it down to sketchy wifi at the hotel today. Have you set low memory graphics if the option is available in settings

I messaged Tinyco about the constant crashing issue. They replied in 25 minutes, cleared the game cache from their end and the problem was solved. Every thing works now perfectly. A big thank you to Tinyco!😁

Getting the constant upgrade message as I load but the upgrade link doesn’t show a new version in the App Store. Update on Android device but it’s old and slow, but will suffice for now.

I can’t get the game to update from the Android app store. I push update and nothing actually downloads.

If you’ve saved your game to an account, try deleting the app and reinstalling it fresh

Didn’t work. Now it says pending download, but the spinning bit doesn’t show up and still nothing moves the download progress bar.

Would be nice though for those who have been playing for a long time if some old xmas characters/costumes collected could be used during the Christmas event…. Like Sexy Santa Lois, Santa, even God, Jesus or Black Jesus.

Yes, they accumulate until capacity for each level is reached. So look to collect every 2 hours unles you want do it hourly

So they’re doing a tie-in with the movie Bad Santa… I thought it would have been so much better if they’d gotten someone who resembled Santa for the lead instead of skinny ass Billy Bob Thornton with a fake beard. It’s an integral part of the story that ‘Sue’ is a Santa Chaser. Most people don’t realize that that there are people – straight and gay – who go all googly over guys who look like Santa.

We have Santa from a previous Christmas event. And my dad is a dead ringer for the big guy. Kids shouts Santa at him in the street, even in middle summer 😀😀😀
