CHARACTERS

Mrs Claus(Character): 240  Clams, has 4hr task to clear Ball Salesperson

Should I Buy – bit of a boring but sweet new character that will really help you get move quicker through the second week of the event. But I think she’s one of these buys that is down to whether you find the character endearing or not, she’s not an impulse buy. So if the character makes you smile, then bring her to your town, if she doesn’t wait to see what comes later. But remember Week 2 can be when events get tough, so if you’re struggling she may be a big help.

Jill Frost (Character): Top prize in the A Very Frozen Mystery Box that costs 145  Clams per try, can shop at Ball Sporting Goods

Should I Buy – Great new character, shakes she’s in a mystery box, but the materials that are in the mystery box are non repeatable so might tempt you take a try. I’ll put full details in the mystery box section later on in this post, but for your information I was lucky and won her on my 2nd try.

Sloshy The Snowman (Character): You’ll be directed to place him for unlocking at Pt 2 of the main Questline O Christmas Spree. Can shop at Balls Sporting Goods, character itself is NOT timed but there is a 40 Clam Reward if yo can unlock him within 7 days of repairing him.

55 Coal (Always): Complete tasks on Mrs Claus Wishlist
28 Tequila Bottles (Common): Jerome Restock The Bar
28 Lime  (Uncommon): Shop at Balls Sporting Goods, North Pole Mini Golf
24 Top Hat  (Uncommon): Mort Dress Up, Yiddish Candles

Caroler Lois (Costume): You’ll trigger the Side Questline to starting creating her at Al’s at Pt 2 of the main Questline O Christmas Spree. Can shop at the Balls Sporting Goods store.
Requires
8 Cloak (Always): Shop at Balls Sporting Goods
29 Caroler Books (Common): Quagmire Go Carolling, Chestnut Sports Support
10 Bonnet (Uncommon): Joe Buy Bonnets, Bonnie Donate Old Clothes
9 Holly (Uncommon): Clear Balls Salesperson

BUILDINGS

***The Buildings for Week 2 can be found in the The Quahog Shopping Centre – you’ll find full details in that section below***

DECORATIONS

Cranberry Margarita Stand – 120 Drops 2x Eggnog every 10 hours.

Should I buy – Just like last weeks Eggnog Stand I’d have said snap it up at 50 clams but at a 120 I’d think very carefully. If you’ve bought Mrs Claus you likely won’t need this, as he’ll get you extra Margarita. This is a tiny 2×2 decoration that is only a must buy if you’ve no time to dedicate to playing but plenty money to spend.

EVENT CURRENCY

Presents (Always) –  Get from the Oh Christmas Tree, the A Very Frozen Mystery Box

EVENT MATERIALS

Cranberry Margarita (Always) –  Get from clearing Ball Salesperson, Cranberry Margarita Stand,  A Very Frozen Mystery Box

Basketball (Always): Shop at Balls Sporting Goods, A Very Frozen Mystery Box

Football (Uncommon): Get from clearing Balls Salesperson,  A Very Frozen Mystery Box

Eggnog (Always) –  Get from clearing Infomercial Salesman, Eggnog Stand, Some tasks on Santa Wishlist, the A Very Frozen Mystery Box

Remote Control (Always): Shop at the Seen On Tubes Store, the A Very Frozen Mystery Box

Red Ornament (Uncommon): Get from clearing Infomercial Salesmen, the A Very Frozen Mystery Box

A VERY FROZEN MYSTERY BOX

Costs 145 Clams per try. No duplicate prizes, so basically once you win an item it leaves the box.

Prizes:
Jill Frost
145 Clams
18 Cranberry Margarita
5 Footballs
90 Presents
18 Eggnog
3 Remote Control
5 Basketballs

** Obviously the star prize is Jill Frost, and it took me 2 attempts to win her. My results were as follows:

5 Basketballs
Jill Frost

Total spend to win Jill Frost: 290 Clams

Should I try: It’s a lot of clams on a game of chance, sure TinyCo have listened and removed the repeatable materials, but materials still make up the majority of prizes, and are they worth 145 Clams? Not in my mind they aren’t. But the odds recently do seem to be a bit higher of winning the star prize, so although the Mystery Boxes are still overpriced in my opinion, you do have a better chance of a good outcome.

  1. Not sure where to post this question, but has anyone else had problems with the game freezing and crashing? I have not been able to progress with week 2 due to this constant problem. I’ve already uninstalled twice. Any suggestions?

  2. Oh wow… I literally JUST found out that you can send more than one character at a time to the shop. I’ve always been sending one. It doesn’t seem to have slowed me down much, as Week 1 was easy peasy and I only unlocked Lois yesterday

  3. Am I slow or does the pipe count for sloshy not add up right? I need 29 more but only 19 are available?!!!

  4. I got Jill frost on my second attempt too (it said). Then it gave me margaritas and she’s nowhere to be found. Wth

  5. It’d be great if they had something in addition to reindeer to buy with extra presents. Until we can upgrade the bar to make it to a higher level of building purchase there are so many wasted presents. I’m going to have scores of reindeer in my herd by the end of this.

  6. I’m stuck trying to upgrade my tree, Chris hasn’t dropped an ornament in the last 3 salesmen cleared and i only need the 1 😦

  7. Gameplay seems bottlenecked. Need to enlarge Blitzen’s to have enough room to buy a Kissing Booth. Need 4 Basketballs. They require 2 cocktails each. Peter takes 4 hours for each. So 4 x 2 x 4 = 32. Your help can come from Caroler Lois, but her Cloaks come from the same place as the Basketballs. (She needs 8) And future items each cost more.

Am thinking of buying herds of Reindeer since the tree is capped. Is it safe to buy the Rabid one? I mean, I have time to refill everything, right? Seems wasteful to let it all sit there.

    • Yeah I bought quite few reindeer while presents were maxed out. And I agree Week 2 is tougher, as is the case in many events.

    • My biggest problem is trying to get more than one shopping session in before the store closes, I feel like there are enough steps that this is an unnecessary buffer given what it takes to get to the store.

      • I agree with this. Seems like the store is closed more than it is open. I’m sure this is done purposely, but still annoying. Makes collecting items for upgrades more difficult.
I can upgrade the tree pretty easily, it’s the other one that takes forever. Other than this I am enjoying this event!

    • Unless you get Mrs. Claus, its going to take most people 6-7 days to get the Lois costume, which will hold up the entire event. Yay go TinyCo.

  8. Hi,
I can’t see yet almost anything from second week of the event. I don’t know if it wasn’t updated or what. Only thing that changed this week was the chance to get the mistery box, idk why… I already got the Bad santa character.
