Hey there Addicts, it’s time to find out where the latest event to hit our games is leading you!!IMG_0657
Yes with the second week of the event halfway over I thought it was time to see how everyone is getting on. So best get busy casting your votes Addicts. And remember the results will show and update as players answer, so it will also let you gauge where you are compared to others.

Thanks as always and feel free to leave any other helpful feedback or thoughts in the comments. And of course if your feeling like venting you can vent it out in the What The Deuce post HERE.

  2. It is insane. And the shameless money grab for buildings is disgusting. I was able to place every single building from the skull place AFTER I no longer needed whatever pieces it dropped! Completely useless questing. Like the other poster up/down the thread here, I will go back to just hoarding clams and coins for the Halloween events through the best of next year. Never watched the he man stuff as a kid. Starblazers (way before anime was a thing!), Battlestar Galactica, Saturday morning wrestling with Super Fly snooka (not into the current junk) Creature Double Feature, Flintsones, etc… Land of the lost anyone? I can no longer justify spending real money on clams any more unless it is on a character or building that makes me laugh. So when RT does the breakdown on the value of a character or costume cost, he puts the decision to buy or pass in a very neutral and informed way. It is a very helpful tool for questing. Thanks again addicts!

Couldn’t have gotten this far though in the game without this forum and all the great folks sharing their experiences and advice. I log on at least once a day now and enjoy reading the feedback.

  3. Just waiting to get the last sword and prince outfit for He-man, then need to get one more robot for the blue feathers to unlock therapist.

  4. I thought this week would take forever…mostly because of the battles (too many misses) and poor drops. Surprisingly, I finished up on Monday with two days to spare! I’m feeling pretty good about this event overall so far.

  5. Again, I am completing the week’s activities shortly before the next week’s tasks begin. Judging by the trend over the last year or so, this is unusual. Did Tinyco actually correct their apparent policy of only allowing premium players to complete things on time? Regardless, I’m happy.

  6. Time to create Mystic Waters is too long. The amount of items to gather, battles, and tasks almost insure that anybody that isn’t playing(monitoring) 16+ hours a day won’t get bonus clams. Once I get He-man, then I’ll need to figure out which items to hoard.

  7. I’m on part 8, only need 2 more prince disguises to get He-Man! I’ve currently got a robot at half health so as soon as She-Ra is recharged I should be able to finish him off. I’m hoping to get He-Man unlocked today so i have the full day to beat the Horde Trooper tomorrow before the timer. Fingers Crossed!

  8. My questline stopped at part 2 or 3. The next quests (and daily tasks) do not appear. Finally heard back from TinyCo and they said tasks will resume after I unlock he-man. I should have him unlocked by the end of the week but if f I have to go back and go through all the battles again I’ll be behind on next week. And that’s assuming I don’t have any misses. The gameplay, glitches, and inexcusably long load times are becoming less tolerable.

  9. just unlocked He-Man and sent him to defeat the Horde with Boy-At-Arms. it took two hits to do so .. got 50 clams and 2 more days to go so i can hoard items .. it was very helpful to hoard books from Week 1 as i entered Week 2 with about 15 books and managed to get those drops for the two characters from the Rurok guys fairly quickly and I saved precious time crafting red and blue bottles instead of those 15-minute books .. but now i’ll start hoarding them again for week 3 …
p.s the He-Man timeline triggers only after you defeat the robot horde

  10. I actually quit playing during part 3 after She-Ra missed hitting the robots completely on two occasions. I emailed support and basically asked them why I should continue playing after wasting time collecting items that were then just thrown away on a battle I couldn’t control. The answer back was a cut and paste of the help files stating it was a risk with an RPG type battle.
After sitting on the fence for a few hours I decided to uninstall the game that I had enjoyed for over 3 years. Maybe I’ll look back into it around Halloween.

Just thought I would provide some background as I know I always looked at these results and wondered who hadn’t moved onto the final quests for the week.

    • Shame to see you go after so many years playing, the random nature of the battles has irked a few but to be honest most the feedback on here has been positive for the event. Which doesn’t change your luck I’m afraid.

    • Never, ever, play the Futurama game then. The current event has us grinding through missions, which requires limited fuel, then at the end of the mission (which takes 5+ minutes in real time) there’s a random chance to get the event currency (coins) which more often than not don’t drop AT ALL. Repeat that for an hour and then you have to wait hours for your fuel to regenerate. Then after 1-2 DAYS of grinding these missions, you get to open a box and more often than not (99 times out of 100) you get complete rubbish and have to grind through missions again. It’s a completely soul destroying game.

        • I guess I just keep hoping it will get better… I was enjoying it until all of the mid-December changes. I had every freemium character and I would easily recommend it to people at the time. But now it’s turned into a massive chore

          • I think they know they overloaded players with the new gameplay and then made it worse with the loot box events. Hopefully fun is on the way. It’s Shane happened as there is fun game under all the overload

            • I dunno… to me the least fun aspect has always been the space battles, yet they keep on adding more and more grinding of those very same no-fun battles. I prefer Family Guy (and TSTO) in that respect, as I can check in for a few minutes every 4 hours and be done with it. This loot box one was just the worst… RNG on top of RNG. I didn’t care about week 1, as I already had all of the pre-existing characters and I didn’t care for the new ones. I ended up with a Bender costume. This week I tried a bit harder for the characters, but still ended up with only a costumer for 1-XS. It’s completely maddening to run mission after mission only to get nixonbucks or chips… when I just want coins! Then when you finally get enough coins, after days and days of grinding, BAM you get *nothing* out of the loot box. Just awful and completely demoralising. I don’t even know what their motivation is – I have 1300 pizza and zero desire to spend it on an utterly broken event. But hey, I just spent 200 pizza and got Nixon – so at least something went right in the past few weeks.

              • The Alpha & Island events were the worst I’ve ever encountered, absolutely soul destroying. I like the game, it’s fun when they get it right, but like you say needs be more than thr Space missions, although the new speed ups should help get through them faster.

        • I always feel disappointed when I read a comment that someone is going to stop playing FG because it is just too tough. For past events, I certainly agree and totally understand the frustration. I would have given up long time ago, if not for this blog and efforts of users, who share their tips and strategies (and frustrations). To be fair, Tinyco has made improvements in recent events, especially the accomplishments reward system and bonus clams based on a timer (instead of a timer to unlock character). Tinyco has really listened to feedback, and I am sure RussianTigger plays a big part in this process.

I guess most of us play on because of this blog, which helps maintain a live community to discuss how we can play better. Sometimes, I see the more common users as ‘friends’, whom I will feel inadequate if I don’t see their posts once in a while. For me, its more rewarding once I manage to unlock characters than TSTO, which is starting to become a routine 4 hour grind. Find that the dialogue has also been more amusing too. Most importantly, this game offers me refuge from an otherwise turbulent life in the real world.

  11. Voted. Have BAA Boy At Arms. At Part 7, one more sword of protection and two more prince disguises to unlock He Man. Constant grind for Mystic Water and Water Elixirs. 2.more days on timer for 50 bonus clams.
