Quahog Con – Where Are You Now

Hey there Addicts, it’s time to find out where how you’re getting on in the latest event to hit our games!Yes with the first week of event halfway over I thought it was time for the Where Are You Now Poll.

So  you best get busy casting your votes Addicts. And remember the results will show and update as players answer, so it will also let you gauge where you are compared to others.

And remember you don’t need to unlock Nigel Tufnel to complete this week’s main Questline, but you will need to place all the buildings in the Exhibit Hall.

Thanks as always and feel free to leave any other helpful feedback or thoughts in the comments. And of course if your feeling like venting you can vent it out in the What The Deuce post HERE.

  1. yeesh, i was plodding through this event to get ALF and now I see him in the mystery box. I’m going to play this VERY casually and spend zero clams.

  2. So one out of three characters drop a swag bag (common) then I use it on the nerd but do not get a backstage pass. I try again four hours later and net only one pass but I need two to craft something. So another four hours go by before I get the second pass. Then it takes two hours to make the item of choice but I need three of that item for the second boss fight. I can’t do it before the timer runs out and I have to start back at level one with the boss.

Why am I still playing? How is this fun?

  3. Have just unlocked the final building, claiming the stickers from the Quahong-con guide quests really helps as you can get 95 without having to unlock Nigel Tufnel from completing the tasks. Wondering if people realise that you don’t have to unlock Nigel to start week 2

  4. Ive been only able to usually craft one item at a time due to hardly any pass drops. This makes moving forward a very slow process. Im at part 7 of questline, but a ways off from the last building or Nigel.

  5. My game is constantly crashing. Not a memory issue. Can’t get Dr. Hartman out of Tan Lines to send on Quest to get leather jacket which won’t drop anyway so why am I complaining. Never mind.

  6. talk about luck .. i just needed one more sharpie to craft the last poster (4/5) and i had 6 hrs on the timer .. none of the 3 characters dropped a sharpie !!!!!!! now i have to wait 4 more hrs and craft one right on the neck of time to get the last 3 armbands i need !!!! AND i will have to rush it i’m sure

  7. Will I still be able to unlock Nigel after Week 2 starts? Or is he present only till Week 1 ends?

  8. This event is truly awful. Another terrible example where the “do this to get this to craft this to attack this” is deeply deeply flawed in this game.

If I have to do 4 separate steps to get an end result then every single one of the steps should result in an ‘always’ drop. Not ‘common’ where in some cases I’m seeing a worse than 1 in 4 drop rate (Napkins, Sharpie’s, Camera’s) !!!

It looks as though Week 2 has started as I’ve now got 2 extra spaces for things to craft in Artists Alley but at least I’m part of the 98% of ppl who are yet to unlock Nigel so we’re all gonna struggle together.

  9. Am I correct in thinking Week 2 just started? I can see “Skinny Jeans” and “Pink Scarf” in my Memorabilia crafting area. I am not even close to unlocking Nigel and haven’t unlocked the last building yet either. I should reach Part 7 in 4 hours or so

  10. On the plus side, no one of interest is in the event… based on info so far. Was hoping someone of note would be in the game… just means my clams stay in my pocket.

  12. This is a very difficult event. Am nowhere near unlocking Nigel and I’ve been on this regularly since the start. Memorabilia drops are absolutely killing me here, could well take another week before I finish Week 1. Can see the polls at the end of the event make for very grim reading.

NOTE: Am currently 1 nerd away from completely Part 5.

  13. This event is super hard. There is no chance I will get to week two on time. I still need almost all the items to buy the last item in the shop. My drops have been horrible. I might get 2 backstage passes every 4 hours. (If I am lucky) So, I can craft one item every 4 hours which isn’t getting me too far. I think this event is not well planned. I am running behind and I purchased the premium character AND the $4.99 pack of crafting supplies. If I am not on time after spending money and clams, something isn’t right.

  14. Happy to see I am with the other 98% who have yet to unlock Nigel. Another event that I will be behind in right off the bat because of the unrealistic/abysmal drops to get “stuff” to unlock a character. The memorabilia drops too are killing me. Can’t get past trading at the 3rd level – not enough resources to craft. Artist Alley sits idle most of the time.

    • Mine is empty most of the time as well. This event is just so slow moving and pointless it is honestly pretty boring.

    • Yep. I’ve never been able to trade past Level 3, and because which item it’ll ask you for 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9 of is random, you can’t even plan ahead and stockpile one because you end up needing it. In the time it takes to collect and craft items for Level 3, there’s never enough time left to get enough of what you need on Level 4.

  16. Desperate times in TC land when they put out a $5 offer to help move you in to week 2. As of this post no one has unlocked Nigel and new content hits in 36 hours. I’m not even close.

  17. Logged in last night to an offer to buy stuff needed to create items in Artist Alley. Which I thought was an insult due to how poor the drops have been.
