  1. What is the point of giving us “pow”s for creating comic strip stewie, when you probably crafted everything else in order to get him?

  2. WTD is the point in making all the bonus stuff cost Prize Tickets when they are so incredibly hard to obtain? I have 42 Guides, 70 Backstage Passes, but only 12 maps… which means I can get a grand total of SIX tickets. Yet all the ticket prizes cost 41 tickets. The Week 4 requirements are also completely geared to people who bought premium items. Well I DID – I bought Ace Ventura and he is utterly useless. Well done TinyCo, for making the worst event since last year.

  4. Terrible event. When week 4 started, I was stuck at the beginning of week 3. Drop rates were bad, too many things to craft and just couldn’t complete task in the time given. I have not even opened the app since week 4 started. This event has turn me away from the game, just waiting for it to be over.

Hey RT, long time since I popped in to say hi. Had taken a hiatus from mobile games for a few months, and reconnect with life. Not sure when I expect to be back though. Hope you are still enjoying the game, and find time to sleep.

Glad see you back, I wondered when I saw your Springfield was quiet during the ScratchyLand event. Glad you’re well and just taking a break. Something I should consider….

      • You should take a well deserved break, but I may be nailed by rest of the folks here for suggesting that. It was about the same time that I wanted to take a break when the Itchy event hit. My game lagged so much that I was turned off for a prolonged period. And still am. Trying to rediscover my passion after such a long layoff.

  6. I thought I read in a comment on this site that the other TinyCo game (Futurama) hasn’t provided new content in a month (I don’t play). I’m curious if anyone from Jam City is commenting anywhere about the future of that game and this one. To say the last few events have been disappointing is an understatement. The gameplay is the same tired formula we have been using for more than a year and the recent content has been quite unimaginative. I know a school of thought is to have the content potentially expose the game to new players who are excited about the event theme, but I don’t see droves of new players flocking for Rooster Cogburn and Will Robinson. And any new player would never have the patience nor understanding to navigate the current tired formula in use. Perhaps TinyCo should do what it can to keep its current base of players happy with content that is affiliated with the show. Certainly after 16 seasons there has to be show-affiliated content still available. And I would think adding districts would add to the core of the game for any new player. You all remember districts, don’t you?

FWOT is supposed to see new content this month but nothing as yet. And no word on how long QFS will continue, people have been sounding it’s death knell for years but it carries on

      • I uninstalled FWoT about a week ago. I don’t know if I’ll reinstall if they do add more content. Every big change they did before just made the game more ‘hardcore,’ which isn’t what I wanted from it. Grinding for levels on so many characters isn’t fun to me in this kind of game. I spent months (literally) working on those 13 toque blanches for Elzar and still only had 8 when I uninstalled. That frustration was what ultimately got me to uninstall even though I’d lost any enjoyment previously.

    • The last Futurama event ended on 16/05 so it’s been over 2 months. There has been zero in-game communication so people are leaving in droves. Either way, they killed the game by getting too greedy too soon and by making the game too much of a chore. As for Family Guy, they’ve switched away from hilariously overpriced clam deals to hilariously overpriced cash-only deals. The game was fun when we had districts to unlock, and you could actually design cool areas – but now my land is choked with items and they seriously need at least 5 times the total amount of land for it to be usable.

  8. I am a long time freemium player. I play several times a day, so I keep up with stuff. This event has to be the worst one I have seen. With just about 3.5 days to go, I am on track to get Will Robinson in a the morning. Waaaaaay past the 7 day mark for free clams.

There is zero chance to get any other character in this event. I’m just going to bow and send characters on quests to finish them up.

    What I didn’t like:
    Inconsistant drops
Having the producer and shop owner made getting beyond the 3rd level nearly impossible. Too much stuff to make and not enough time.
The Pow’s In the Guidebook were unrealistic to get.
By the time I could place a building, a almost had enough stuff from a character. It made it pretty worthless.

I just didn’t like this event. There have been events that had parts that were bad, but this one was a stinker from start to finish.

  9. I’m missing at least 500 clams and Tinyco hasn’t responded to my in game question about it. I contacted them on the 19th the same day it happened. What the deuce?!?!
I’ve been playing since year one and haven’t threatened to quit this game yet, but stealing clams I’ve spent so many months and years earning…. not cool.

  10. What is happening with Tiny Co.?
Are they trying to bore us into quitting the game?
Has this gone on longer that they intended?

I’ve been playing this for years and this is the worst event I’ve ever taken part in. Terrible drops, uninspired characters, looking for handouts as they offer feeble offerings for real cash.

And no new content in FWOT for ages.

What is happening with Tiny Co.?

    • Simple answer there… Tiny Co was bought out by Jam City in July 2016.
One of Jam City’s best known games is a Candy Crush style game called Cookie Jam.
So it’s prob taken 2 yrs to change the TC development ethos and style into JC’s and that’s when and why the game has gone down the pan so drastically. Lets hope they learn from this and revert back to a style that worked and that players actually enjoyed.

I haven’t played the game for about 2 weeks now. It’s kinda liberating not checking in every 2-4hrs n then get pee’d off that drops haven’t happened.

  11. I’m still nowhere close to unlocking Will Robinson. I haven’t even gotten to week 4 yet. I’ve been behind since week 1. This entire event is just a PITA.
