Millennial Man is here….. and the Social Media Consultant is NOT timed….

It looks like some trade wars are coming our way as Peter is setting up a startup in  the Millenial Man event.

I’m seeing the full event on IOS, app version 1.73.0, and pulling info now and I’ll get the LIVE post up as soon as possible. Until then you can throw caution to the wind as there is NO timed character to unlock.

Yes let me repeat the good news, there’s no unlock timer on the Social Media Consultant. However you won’t place him for unlocked no until Part 5 of  the main Questline, Scrappy Startup.

Worst. Event. Ever. And I thought the last one was bad. Eeeesh! The only fun thing is pointing out how stupid and insipid millennials are. Gotta find that episode!

  2. How do you get all the characters in week one to drop items? I checked tbe FAQs for the event in game and not all characters listed have tasks for drops. I don’t have event Peter or Briian yet. Thanks for the help. Good luck everyone.

  4. Does anyone know the correct event end date? The FAQ’s say August 1st but then timer has 13 days left, which would be August 8th

  5. I’m glad this event is the mini event. If the last event was bad I don’t even know where to begin with this. This is really uninspired. They pretty much lost me with man bun. Not too many characters used and why am I gathering street tacos? For the Olympics event we gathered marbles to trip skaters… You know what I give up. I get millennials are a thing, but they aren’t event worthy. In a couple months Halloween is coming, maybe we’ll have a good event by then.

    • With some of the more recent mini events, they have been basing them around recent episodes. Its not the most interesting basis but I kind of like that they have been doing episode themed stuff for the shorter events.

  6. Is this bad news on the horizon for FG:QFS?

So that’s why I presume content and quality has been slacking whilst everything during the last event cost real money to suck us dry as much as possible before the end of the game’s lifetime! >_<

I think this was planned before buy put on hold. I think QFS has less staff working on it as it’s an older game, simple as that.

    • No, that’s very good news. An IPO is an “Initial Public Offering”, which means that JamCity is a privately-held company and is will be raising cash by offering stock to the public. Exactly what Zuckerberg did with FB a could of years ago and he became a overnight billionaire…it means they have something investors want and are willing to buy…

“…the IPO valuation could total around $1 billion. JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Bank of America Corp are reportedly the lead underwriters.” Yikes…someone’s getting rich…

Good, maybe they can hire a few statisticians to explain the difference to the programmers between ‘common’ and ‘rare’…geesh…OK, I’ll try and tone down the snarkiness, LOL!

    • This is probably more telling for FWOT players:

      https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2018-05-31-layoffs-reported-at-harry-potter-dev-jam-city

“Nonetheless, it’s always disappointing to hear of job losses. These apparently also extend to TinyCo, the Jam City subsidiary behind Marvel Avengers Academy. Reports suggest only a “skeleton crew” remains at the studio to continue operating mobile city builder ‘Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow.’ ”

It appears the overall layoffs are due to redundancies as Jam City continues to acquire studios and lays offs are probably redundant administrative, accounting and HR people…

HOWEVER, the last sentence means they might not believe in FWOT…I don’t play it, but I know many of you do, and RT recently commented that there has been no new content as of late which is NOT a good sign at all…

The last four events here have been horrible, almost insulting with the blatant cash offers, but they are investing in the game…IMHO, I think it’s two things: One, they want to get paid for their investment, and, two, they’re testing the waters, if people pay, they’ll keep it up, if not, they may back off…again, JMHO and YMMV…

So, that’s the daily FGQFS business report, you may go back your regularly scheduled game play, that’ll be 40 clams, please…
