Managed to get him just under the wire when a pack dropped the last 3 fake butts that I needed with less than 2 hours left to go. No way I’m even close to the 700 fuel rods to get the pile of bugs, so time to put this event to bed.

unlocked him this morning .. his wall climbing task is funny 🙂
the only thing i cant get is the giant stack of bugs for 700 rods … as for the Mitochondria building .. wasnt it supposed to drop Paramecia ? it didnt drop a single one in 3 tries … and in 4hrs the event will be over so i cant try again

It does drop but not very often. The pile of Bugs isn’t as cute as it could have been, I prefer the individual Bugs you can buy for 25 Fuel Rods each

I keep having an issue when playing on my phone (iPhone 7s) where when I unlock characters, it freezes up the game.
Happened today when I got Dick Spitz. Technically, I unlocked him ok, but when I click on him (exclamation point over his head) the game goes ker-plop.
Don’t think it’s a memory issue at all, as I have plenty of available memory, and none of my other apps have any issues, and since it’s an iphone, there’s no clearing a cache.
Any idea what might be causing it?

I have this occionally on iPhone 7 as well, but when I’m targeting Baddies rather than unlocking characters. I’ve hardly anything else on my phone so not memory either.

I though unlocking him would be next to impossible, but I managed to get him yesterday. The only clams I spent in this event was for Giant Stewie in week 1. That really had little to no effect on unlocking Dick Spitz.
The grenade drops seemed to make the difference this week. I always targeted 4 dust mites to maximize the paramecium dropped. The microscope packs (using paramecium) was very helpful, especially when I got extra grenades.
I was on a schedule where I could check the game every 4 hours or so (except overnight), and that seemed to be enough.
