New Event Teaser!!!

There’s more than a hint of what’s coming to a Quahog near you soon in the latest game update hitting our app stores. If you want to know more continue reading, if you don’t then move on to the next post until you update your App.

Best get your thanksgiving faces on as the All In The Family Guy event is coming to our games soon!

Now there’s no word on an exact time when the event will go live, obviously we will see it sometime after the current event ends on 21st November at 3PM PST.  But as of now I can see the update only on IOS, (App Version 1.79.0), but don’t panic if you’re not seeing it as it will come to the other app stores soon. But if you’re not seeing it and want to know more here’s a sneak peek at the App Store info:

“Peter’s sperm bank kids show up in Quahog wanting to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with their dad. The family fights over football and food, and then attacks the mall together for a Black Friday adventure. Can the Griffins survive the holiday weekend with Peter’s sperm bank kids. Play our All In The Family Guy event to find out!”

Hi RT , I’ve had the same issues as schmiddler , since the beginning of the last event the game loads but after a few minutes it crashes , been in contact with tiny three times and was told to clear cache etc and to reinstall, did all this to no avail and it is now crashing on the new event , I am on iPad and have never had this problem before .
    I have been playing since day one and have spent a fair bit of money on it , I have 2700 clams in reserve which I cannot use .
    Any ideas where I go next ?

    • I’m sorry, I’m continuing to raise issue with TinyCo, but there seems to be ongoing issues in sone games whereas some of us are having no issues at all. I’ll reach out to them again.

    • Have you tried playing on BlueStacks for the PC?

      If you have your account linked to either FB or email, you can resume your play via PC and won’t encounter any crashes!

      That’s what I’ve been doing for almost 3 years now – whenever it crashes on my iPhone (which it is crashing for me too, btw), I shift over on my PC so as to not lose all that time invested in the game so far without lagging behind!

      Try it out, you’ll find it as a good alternative!!

      I’d recommend it to anyone who’s encountering any crashes and can continue his/her progress in any event without any problem whatsoever – just keep in mind to link your account to FB or an email account so as to not lose all your progress so far!

      • Thanks for the suggestion JP. I actually did try Bluestacks last week “hoping” it was my device maybe. But still no good. And you just gave me another idea….I have a Galaxy S9. I’ll try to install it on my old Galaxy S7……………………………….ok, just tried that….still no good. App opens fine, but when I click on “Sign-in Using Google” the clams TV icon just shakes until I escape out.

        • I’ve tried playing the game on my mom’s Galaxy J3 (which is older than your S7) and, even though it takes about 4 minutes loading, it works just fine.

          However, my game’s linked with an email account so maybe signing in using google could be the main cause of the problem here?!?

          Did you make sure that the game and operating system of your device is updated to the latest versions respectively? If you’ve done both, have you tried clearing your device’s cache and uninstalling/reinstalling the game?

          As regards to BlueStacks, are you running the latest version 3N? It seems so strange that even on BS you’re getting the same symptoms as on your device >_<

          • Yes, everything is up to date. It has to be the Google sign in. Support keeps asking me for my Google plus ID string, so I guess they’re going in that direction….. However it’s been THREE weeks!!

            • Can’t you switch over to linking your game using FB or via email rather than Google?

              • I think he can’t get his save to load so can’t do that without TinyCo help

                • RT is exactly right. I don’t use FB. But my saved game that I’ve been playing for 2 years is under my google account. I can start a new game from Day 1 if I want to……but obviously, I don’t want to do that since my saved game is at 100XP, I have like 1500 clams and probably over 75 characters.

  2. In the list of characters used for the event it lists Bonnie but can’t see any task where she is used.

  4. Dunno. Could be fun. Myself, I hate Black Friday shopping, so it might be good to see Peter suffer through it. (As long as we don’t have to craft yet another costume for him. On a 1-5 scale for event enjoyment, having to craft another Peter costume is currently a full -1 for the event overall.)

  5. RT – Now that the new event is about to drop, I’m about to give up. I haven’t been able to log into my game for the past 2 weeks….ever since the new update was installed (and the last event ended). I’ve contact supported basically every other day via the app and have gotten the generic responses about that they pushed out an update that they believe fixed it, or they cleared my cache and it should be fixed. Well nothing allows me to log into my game using my Google account. Seeing that the new event is going to drop today, if they can’t fix my game by the start of the new event, I’m basically going to give up and probably say Good-bye to playing. I’ve spent a few hundred dollars and countless hours to just start over. I guess my one last try was to reach out to you and see if you could drop a note to anyone. I can’t believe that nobody has been able to fix this in literally 14 days. I guess there is no quality control in support because I’ve written some pretty upsetting messages and have gotten no response.

    • Can you tell me when the issue happens? Is it trying open game or when you try log back into your account?

      • Game opens fine. It’s when I click on account and “sign into Google”

        Clam TV just wiggles and stays like that until I hit back.

          • Thanks RT. Sounds like Mike T is having the exact same problem… And getting the exact same generic responses from support. (I still can’t believe it’s been over 2 weeks.)

      • I’ve been having trouble trying to log into my Google account to sync on my Kindle. I click on the Google button that normally takes you to a login prompt, but the shaking TV just sits there. Luckily, the game still works on my Android phone. I also contacted support through their website and heard back from them a week later with a generic statement of higher problem reports than normal. I swear, I think that’s the standard response for anything from TinyCo. I’ve since given up trying to play on my Kindle, even though I prefer the larger screen. I should just give up on the game, because I also have spent quite a bit of money and have been playing for probably 3 years. I don’t have as much time to play anymore, so I’m always way behind on tasks and events. It’s not really fun any more.

    • Are you sure it’s not on your end? Enough free memory? Sometimes I have to clear my cache etc to get the game running ok. I play often on android and had trouble loading once and fixed it by getting an SD card and moving the game to it. BTW, i reinstalled recently and cannot link the game to my Google account either, just won’t do it, luckily I was able to load my current game via my facebook account.
