Yup you asked for a readers page where you could share event tips & tricks and I’ve only gone and called your bluff and created one. So here’s where you can lay all your event progress on the table for your fellow addicts to see.

Send him on the surf the bird 1 min task and don’t collect from him except when you need him to advance a quest line or the daily tasks. It’s an outside task so you see it is him so you can avoid collecting and having to reset him.
He spends all his days with a checkmark over his head until he is needed. I agree with RT — for me he shows up once a week with one of his costumes for daily tasks so I don’t put him away for any longer than that one minute task so he is always accessible.

i started doing that recently .. or send him on the 30 second task where he remains hidden at home .. but eventually he’ll be clicked with other characters doing their tasks in the same home as well .. no worries .. just send him in again

Oh, except he can get in the way if you only have 2 squares of road like me.

Start him on any other visual task then remove the road he’s on, putting your 2 squares a little away from him or simply start him on the task away from your road, this won’t work for the 30s one though.

This works for me too! 😊 I just wish he wouldn’t keep wandering around! I would put him somewhere out of the way until I need him, if I could.

Well, I haven’t been able to open my game since about this time yesterday… I guess I’ll just wait for it to work itself out like usual… (unstable game grumble grumble)

It’s starting to get really frustrating that you can’t put Peter in tan lines since the past 3/4 events he’s been completely useless with no tasks or drops for the event. Bonnie, Chris and Lois seem to be the only consistent ones lately, occasionally joe and rarely meg. Almost never Brian or stewie though. The characters that even have tasks this current event are so baffling to me too, just 3 random characters from unrelated past events? Strange lol.
Also the timer for this Brian costume is confusing. They have it in the quest log like they do when you get a prize for unlocking a costume or character within a certain time. If it wasn’t for the other post I never would’ve realized it was an unlock timer.

You just know the minute you send him away for 24hrs he will be needed 😅😅😅
