SPORTS FANS

At Pt. 1 of the main Questline you will trigger the Sports Fans in your Quahog. You will have to wait for them to appear before you can battle them and have one of the following characters available, Loincloth Chris and/or Rita and/or Chloe.
Battling Sports Fans is similar to the battles you’ve been doing with Aggressive Tourists. You will find the Sports Fans wandering your sidewalks when they appears and tapping on one will bring you up the Reject The Sports Fan screen, which gives you all the battle information.
I’ve simplified the information from the Attack screen below.
Opponent Stats:
Sports Fan: 8 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, Undisclosed chance of knockout
Characters you can use Stats (you can select 2):
Loincloth Chris ~ 8 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 20% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
Chloe ~ 4 Health Points, 8 Damage Hit, 20% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
Rita ~ 8 Health Points, 8 Damage Hit, 20% Chance knockout, Heal time 9hrs
And remember if you send in more than one character to attack, which I recommend if possible, his damage will be split across them. So if you’ve 2 characters fighting him he will hit each for 2 damage instead of 4, unless he misses or does a knockout blow then the damage will vary.
The rewards you get will depend on whether you only damage him, this is counted as a defeat, or if you fully kill him, this is a success. Remember any damage you do to her will stay until you attack him again.
DEFEAT/ROUND Payout:
Nothing
SUCCESS Payout:
2 Shampoo (Always)
32 Bling (Always)
1 Running Shoe (Chance)
Cost To Battle:
3 Right Swipes (Uncommon) – Get from Quagmire Check Out Lindsey, Joe Give Loincloth Chris A Warning, Shrine Of Likes, Loincloth Chris Update His Profile, Last Call Singles Bar, Female Empowerment Mystery Box
Now another point worth mentioning about your character’s Health healing it only starts to heal once it hits 0, so if you’ve 4/8 Health it will NOT go back up to 8/8 over time, it will only start to restore once you’re at 0/8.
Greasy Salesman

At Pt. 1 of the main Questline you will trigger the The Greasy Salesman in your Quahog. You will have to wait for him to appear before you can battle him and have one of the following characters available, Loka and/or Chloe and/or Rita..
Battling The Greasy Salesman is similar to defeating the Underwhelming Magician., he’s just tougher to defeat but dishes out high rewards.
You will find him wandering your sidewalks when he appears and tapping on him will bring you up the Reject The Greasy Salesman screen, which gives you all the battle information.
But I’ve simplified the information from the Attack screen below..
Opponent Stats:
Greasy Salesman: 18 Health Points, 12 Damage Hit, Undisclosed chance of knockout
Characters you can use Stats (you can select 2):
Loka ~ 12 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 20% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
Chloe ~ 4 Health Points, 8 Damage Hit, 20% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
Rita ~ 8 Health Points, 8 Damage Hit, 20% Chance knockout, Heal time 9hrs
And remember if you send in more than one character to attack, which I recommend if possible, his damage will be split across them. So if you’ve 2 characters fighting him he will hit each for 6 damage instead of 12, unless he misses or does a knockout blow then the amount damage will vary.
The rewards you get will depend on whether you only damage him, this is counted as a defeat, or if you fully kill him, this is a success. Remember any damage you do to her will stay until you attack him again.
DEFEAT/ROUND Payout:
Nothing
SUCCESS Payout:
64 Bling (Always)
Cost To Battle: 4
Shampoo (Always) – Get from clearing Sports Fans
Aggresive TOURISTS

You’ll still need to fight the Aggressive Tourists in Week 2 as they now drop an item for unlocking Chloe.
I’ve gone over the main the information from the Attack screen again below.
Opponent Stats:
Aggressive Tourist: 8 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, Undisclosed chance of knockout
Characters you can use Stats (you can select 2):
Loincloth Chris ~ 8 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 20% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
Loka ~ 12 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 20% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
Lindsey ~ 8 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 50% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
And remember if you send in more than one character to attack, which I recommend if possible, his damage will be split across them. So if you’ve 2 characters fighting him he will hit each for 2 damage instead of 4, unless he misses or does a knockout blow then the damage will vary
The rewards you get will depend on whether you only damage him, this is counted as a defeat, or if you fully kill him, this is a success. Remember any damage you do to her will stay until you attack him again.
DEFEAT/ROUND Payout:
In my game I got nothing, checking if this is as intended
SUCCESS Payout:
Selfie Stick (Always)
24 Dating Pics(Always)
1 Racer’s Bib (Chance)
Cost To Battle:
1 Right Swipes (Uncommon) – Get from Quagmire Check Out Lindsey, Joe Give Loincloth Chris A Warning, Shrine Of Likes, Loincloth Chris Update His Profile, Last Call Singles Bar, Female Empowerment Mystery Box.
There you have the overall basics to get you started through the second Week of the latest Event. Where are you so far? Anything particular you like the most? Suggestions or tips to fellow players? Let us know.

Your recommendation about sending 2 players to battle is spot on! This is the first event that I remember that the damage is split between the players instead of both getting the full hit. This makes it much easier to defeat the enemies.
Even if you have to wait a bit for your characters to heal up, it is totally worth the time to be able to send 2 in to battle at a time (unless you haven’t unlocked the 2nd one yet)!

“Dino Tamer Peter still has a 2hr task to drop Hearts” – I also had a 4 hour task that gave away 6 hears…but this appears to be “fixed” now 😦

Really? Which character had the 6 hearts drop?

I believe he said Dino Tamer Peter but I never saw it

Dino Tamer Peter….I had both a 2 hr and 4 hr job for him to get hearts.

Dino Tamer Peter no longer dropping in iOS game. Back to the stupidest part of this game, the one character that cannot be “put away” has nothing to do per the event.

TinyCo is surely pissed about Dino Peter (Ooops!) as he is no longer dropping hearts. So to slow the game down (we all got the week 2 buildings in one go!) they’ve made coffee pots impossible to get. Romantic Picnic has not dropped 1 coffee pot yet. WTD?
And on a side note for long time players who find the game repetitive and dull – let’s petition for a new district to keep things moving. It’s been years since I completed all of them and that’s when the game was the most fun.

It was an oops so fully expected it to be fixed – but on your other suggestion I’d love see a new District or something but I’m not sure it’s going happen

A new district would be great! Or some more ghosts in the mausoleum!

Or let us put it away!

I hoped this week would be easy as I already had enough hearts at the start of the week to immediately buy all the BLUNDR buildings!
So far, I have nearly everything for Chloe, except for the coffee pots which are dropping really badly. Just 5 out of 25 dropped so far… yeah, they’re pretty rare!

i was able to place all the buildings in 1 day thanks to my hearts-stash from Week 1 …
LikeLike
I was flabbergasted to see that I could buy 3 immediately, and had the 4th within a day or so… I am also building up my Hearts collection for next week, but am still working on earning Chloe, as, unlike others, Running Shoes are taking a lot of work! Only one to go, though. (Others are complaining about Coffee drops, but I didn’t have a big problem with that.)

Chris was a darling and he disposed of those sports fan quite easily for me .. he delivered several critical hits in a row .. the coffee was a pain to get but i finally managed to collect them all

I sent tinyco a message in game. I think it’s ridiculous that they have Fat Husband Brian (which at one time 90% of the people that voted on a poll on this site said they had not unlocked) have a drop for the week 2 unlockable character. While I applaud them for actually including a character from the previous event it would seem to make more sense for them to have Loka or whatever her name is that we just unlocked in week 1 of this event to actually have a drop.
Thanks Tigger for keeping this site up to date and running!

It’s outrageous, arrggghhh (/s). I am sure It ended up that much more than 10% got him; I did easily. I think Fat Brain being used is great, someone here expressed the idea of using characters from the last event in the next event, a great idea. Finally an incentive to get a character besides just sitting them in Tan Lines. You got Loka for free, who cares if she just battles and doesn’t drop anything.
Maybe Jam City/Tinyco would have time to fix the game and respond to players if people did not contact them over minor gripes like that and “eww, drops are bad!”

im glad im pushed through and unlocked Fat Brian (although i didn’t want to) but i think it’s ridiculous for Loka to not have any drop … she spends her time dancing around in my game until she has to fight …

I actually am very happy about this. I’ve always felt like the last unlockable character of an event has no real value after that event. This is the first time I remember that a character from the previous event has a task.
It is unfortunate that some people weren’t able to unlock him, but hopefully they will continue this trend going forward.

Totally agree – I was pretty angry when I saw that one – they couldn’t find another character?? I refused to waste clams on a costume that had really terrible drop rates – I’m not rewarding their poor game processes…
LikeLike
It is not a “poor game process”, in this case. It is exactly what many people have requested; “please make characters we earn, OR buy, more useful than for just a week”. I didn’t buy FHB, I earned him, and I appreciate that I am now rewarded for my hard work (but would also feel that buying him should provide the same reward), by having him be useful for another event. And as Andi said, it is not like you MUST have FHB to get through this event; it is just a bonus that makes it easier.
LikeLike
It’s not like FHB is necessary to unlock the character…just makes it happen a little bit faster…I don’t have a problem with giving ppl who spend clams on stuff a bit of an advantage…Chloe is still able to be unlocked within the week even without FHB.
