Hey there readers, welcome to our end of event poll, where today I’m going to be researching the event that just was, Behind The Scenes. After 3 weeks of playing, it’s all over but for the poll, and that’s where we will find out how this event went for you.

Played this event super casually due to being overseas, checking in no more than a few times a day, and was very close to unlocking QuagJoePeteLand.
I reckon if I checked in a few more times over the past 2 weeks and didnt have to get on flights I’d have unlocked him.
I completely missed the Bert thing too and whatever team I picked we didn’t win. Got some free clams though which was better than nothing.

So the new quest requires spending 270 clams on trash Meg to acquire the 94 required items to unlock Joyce Kinney. So 1 character that costs money is the only way to play event. My name stands!

NOT TRUE, FAKE NEWS. Other ways to get the items appear as you progress in the questline. Spending clams is never absolutely necessary.

You will never be REQUIRED to buy premium items or characters just to PROGRESS through an event, though you may CHOOSE to, to COMPLETE the event. Many of us complete events with no cost, or minimal cost, without buying items outright. Unfortunately, TinyCo does like to release the details of an event in little bits: You get a task/quest that says “Learn about such-and-such”, which tells you part of the way the event will work, then another task/quest that tells you more, and until you reach the part where TinyCo enables ALL the ways you can collect items, you may have to just collect some, or wait, or, IF YOU SO CHOOSE, you may rush things by buying premium characters… but that is your choice, not a requirement.

You need to progress through the event quest line past Pt. 2 to get characters to drop things necessary to get Joyce Kinney. The FAQ’s list characters necessary for this part of the event.
