ADDICTS ANNOUNCEMENTS & INFORMATION
***Post is complete***
***The launch of this week’s content was delayed by around 24 hours, TinyCo have said this will be kept in mind and the final weeks completion requirements will be adjusted to reflect the day we lost***
***Can I remind readers that I use the clams kindly provided to me by TinyCo to pull event information for you, but I do this in a way that allows me to not only be ahead of the average player but still actually play the game a little. If you’ve got the beta testing fast forward feature in your games and are rushing through the week’s content then I’m sorry but you may find yourself ahead of my information at times***
***Also can I remind players I do this for fun, a distraction from every day life, but I still have to deal with every day things, and the timing of posts will reflect that I’ve a lot going on just now, so be please be patient***
CURRENT APP VERSION
Version 1.91.0
NOTICEABLE CHANGES
For some there’s a fast forward feature to speed up tasks, to do this you’ll watch videos. I can’t give any more information as I don’t have this in my game to test, but it’s Beta and according to last week’s poll only about half of our players have it, whether more will get it, or whether some will lose it, well we’ll need wait and see.
GLITCHES & ISSUES
The duplicate and triplicate characters glitch continues. I know I keep saying this but believe me TinyCo are working to try get this sorted, it’s just not a simple fix. I know some of you are getting frustrated but they have to fix each game manually hence time is taking, I can assure you TinyCo hasn’t forgot about you.
Reappearing Questlines – either redo them or request TinyCo remove them, they don’t impact playing thankfully.
Game crashing on older devices, and those with older/outdated software continues, it may be they can no longer handle the game. What I can tell you is if your device runs on 2gb of ram you may struggle with crashing, if it has less than 2gb ram it probably wintbrun at all.

Undead warthogs

These little baddies continue this week of the event and are quite simple to deal with, it’s just more of the tap, aim and fire you dud last week. Before you can clear them you’ll need to get a Dragon Breath, you’ll get them here:

Simply tap one of them to bring up the targeting screen.

Then move the net until the green target circle is on an Undead Warthog to clear it.

I am seeing up to a maximum of 16 in my game.

They’ve dropped well for me, but I also “won” them twice in the mystery box. The football helmets are the slow drop for me.

Anyone else having more or a rare drop rate then an uncommon one for cologne? I just cleared 10 warthogs and received only 3 drops?
Also I hope everyone is having a great summer, it’s been so quiet around here.

I’d say I’m getting them anout 6 for ever 10 I clear. Obviously not great summer for me, but hopefully others are having good times. I think as the game is losing players the site is getting quieter, which is to be expected.

Is the game loosing players? So I don’t know if this is the same for other people but I think as the game has gotten harder. More of a “cash grab” seemingly. Although I do know the developers and everyone who works there, need to make money. That being said I have played daily but not as much, such as setting alarms, waking up to play, loosing sleep, buying clams, that kind of thing. When I did that I was able to complete events. But not anymore. So it became pointless to do all those things. Like I said though I still play daily, But i rarely buy clams anymore. It’s too bad I really love this game.

I think for a while the game became easier, as they cut down the content, usually only 1 freemium character or costume to unlock each week. But it depends which event mechanic is being used, some are harder than others. The game is over 5 years old so is definately losing players, most wouldn’t have bet on the game lasting this long to be honest. I think it’s like anything in life, if you’re not enjoying it, and you don’t have to do it, then don’t, try find another game you like, and I guess that’s what some are doing. But I think the problem for long term players is there’s not many games like this starting up now, and even the competition Tapped Out is on its knees, it’s releasing way less content than this.

Yah…the cologne drops are a tad too buried for my taste. You have a “chance” at getting an ice pick from a few characters (gold suit Brian? – I must have missed this one), then you get a chance to get some green potion or whatever it is when picking ice, and then another chance when you actually clear the warthog. Those 3 chances don’t add up quickly by any means to collect…50?!?!,?!?!?!! I’m surprised there isn’t more people complaining. This feels like a litmus test from the developers of what the players are willing to put up with and not pay to get ahead.
