Happy Weekend Clammers! Well we’ve all made it through another week and the weekend is here!
All week we field your comments about your frustrations in the game and we wanted to give you (and us) a way for you to voice your frustrations and get it all off of your chest.
So welcome to WHAT THE DEUCE?!
Here’s your place to vent about anything and everything, Family Guy or not. Consider this your weekly bitch fest and get it all out with a good…WHAT THE DEUCE?! And start your weekend fresh! 🙂
Just be respectful of others & be mindful of the language while commenting. Censor yourselves so we don’t have to!!
Go on, get it off your chest…you’ll feel a lot better! 🙂
I have complained many times to TinyCo/Jam City about a recurring problem, and all they say is they are ‘working on a solution’, but one is never forthcoming: I cannot see the ‘green’ target for the icebergs because of my colour-blindness. I suggested using contrasting colours (or even black and white). As it is, I hit an iceberg by chance every 4 or 5 goes, so my gameplay has stalled. I could just buy the Prince character, but I see that as rewarding bad game design. Ho hum.

That does make things harder, I can only suggest targeting in the small area I highlight in this post, I use a black arrow to point to it and black text to show my target area, outwith that I’m sorry I can’t do more.

dont want to sound patronising but if you’re colour blind and play on mobile device have you tried changing the settings on your phone to accommodate. the changes at phone/system level affect the in-game colours.
another way would be to invert colours (so its like a negative). i’ve done it on my iphone whilst typing this and it changes the target colouring – blue to miss and pink to hit. the icebergs all turn red too. i dont know if android devices have the same functionality.

These are good ideas, but my colour-blindness means that I can’t always differentiate well (I can’t tell the difference between light blue and pink, either). My phone doesn’t seem to have any advanced colour settings. Ho hum. I just have to add this to the list of things that can’t be done and move on. But thanks for taking the time to reply!

What the Freakin’ Deuce, TC/JC?!? We earn a freaking building that costs lots of event currency AND at least two cycles of another freaking building that we had to earn, it has a TWELVE (12, read that again, a freaking TWELVE) HOUR cycle to drop Dragon Breaths…and it doesn’t…when it says, “Common”…give me a freaking break, that’s just insulting…this is supposed to be fun, right??

You can get Dragon Breaths from icebergs too, so a 12 hour wait on a superfluous building really doesn’t matter. This morning I had something like 60 DB stockpiled, and just went and cleared all the rest of the warthogs I needed. I still have 10 DB’s left, as well as 14 icepicks if I really want more.

No, at the time, I had plenty of DB, more than I needed for the tasks that came ahead…it was just a general WTD about a situation that occurs every event lately, and it kills the fun each time…but thank you for your thoughts…

I totally agree. I’ve noticed it with other events too…the further along in the event the worse the drops get. It is supposed to be fun, but with the drops like you said… it does get frustrating. I think everything should be rare lol.
