ADDICTS ANNOUNCEMENTS & INFORMATION

***Sorry for any delay in posts but the current crazy game schedule is all over the place so I can’t plan to be available when the updates deop***

***Post is complete***

***The launch of this week’s content was again delayed but it looks to me that this events completion requirements have been adjusted to reflect that time we lost compared to other week long events***

***Please note future events may now start and end at 2PM PDT, so please keep an eye on the event end times, I’ll update information as I get it but as you know timing has been all off lately***

GLITCHES & ISSUES

The duplicate and triplicate characters glitch continues. I know I keep saying this but believe me TinyCo are working to try get this sorted. You must contact them as they need fix games on a one by one basis.

Reappearing Questlines – if you can simply redo them, or request TinyCo remove them.

Clam award loop – doesn’t effect play but please let TinyCo know if is happening in your game.

Event buildings are sometimes locked for random players, only TinyCo can fix this so let them know.

Game crashing on older devices, and those with older/outdated software continues, it may be they can no longer handle the game. What I can tell you is if your device runs on 2gb of ram you may struggle with crashing, if it has less than 2gb ram it probably won’t run at all.

For some reason Caveman Chris is available to buy for 270 Clams and also the main prize in the Multuverse Mystery Box.

HOW TO CONTACT GAME SUPPORT

There’s 2 ways to do this, The first and best way is through your game main menu, select Help & Support and  then tap ‘Contact Us’.

However if this isn’t possible, then you can contact support via email. The email address to use is – support@jamcity.com

You can be crafting up to 6 items in the Products Queue at a time. If the queue is full you will have to wait until one finishes before adding more into the Queue.

This is where you will complete investigations in order to drop items, release Multiverse Nuns and the Surgeon.

At first you will only see 1 are you can explore, the Ancient Passageway, but you’ll add 2 others you buy from the Multiverse Government Building, these are the Warm Tub Multiverse Machine and the Multidimensional Portal

.Although also worth remembering where you can explore will depend on the characters you have available to you. The characters that can explore are Chris, Lois, Hotline Peter and Beauty Pagent Stewie.

Wild dinosaurs

These are the little baddies this week of the event and are quite simple to deal with, it’s just more of the tap, aim and fire we’ve seen in previous events.

But first you’ll  find these during an investigation, as always once you release them you will find the Wild Dinosaurs wander towards your sidewalks. You can find them by looking or using the Squatter Button.

Before you can clear them you’ll need to get a Cooked Meat, you’ll get them here:

Cooked Meat (Always) –  Get from crafting in the Infinity Mitten Castle

Once you have this head to your sidewalks.

Simply tap one of them to bring up the targeting screen.

Then move the net until the green target circle is on one, you’ll know it’s in target as it will turn purple, then simply hit the check mark to clear it.

The event rewards for clearing these is as follows:

Per Wild Dinosaur Cleared
1 Old Bone (Always)
1 Dinosaur Skull (Chance)

Multiverse nuns

These are the little baddies from last week and you still need find and clear them this week. they are simple to clear just a simple tap and they are gone.

After you find these during an investigation you will find the Multiverse Nuns wander towards your sidewalks. You can find them by looking or using the Squatter Button. As a reminder you can find these by investigating the Ancient Passageway and the Multidimensional Portal.

Simply tap one of them and it’s gone.

This week’s rewards for clearing Multiverse Nuns  are as follows:

Per Diamond Card Soldier Cleared
15 Vials of Plasma (Always)
1 Wheel (Chance)

DEFEAT winged turtle

Here is another new battle, it’s similar to what we’ve seen in the previous boss battle last week, the Surgeon.

Basically you need to find the Winged Turtle during an investigation in either of the following areas, the Ancient Passageway. the Warm Tub Multiverse Machine and/or the Multidimensional Portal. If you find him he will appear over in the event area at the Multiverse Portal. Above him will be a timer and a heart meter.

Now the heart meter level has been different each time I have found him but this might vary in your game.  To defeat the Winged Turtle you need to get his heart meter to 0.

Now you’ve 24 hours to fully deplete his heart meter, and you do so by attacking him with Lumberjack Lois, Hotline Peter and/or Caveman Chris.

Lumberjack Lois’  FIGHT THE WINGED TURTLE task has a damage score of 3, so that’s what she will reduce the Winged Turtke’s  heart meter by. It takes 4 hours to complete the task and do the damage.

Hotline Peter’s FIGHT THE WINGED TURTLE task has a damage score of 2, so that’s what he will reduce theWinged Turtke’s heart meter by. It takes 4 hours to complete the task and do the damage.

Caveman Chris’ FIGHT THE WINGED TURTLE task has a damage score of 6, so that’s what he will reduce theWinged Turtke’s heart meter by. It takes 4 hours to complete the task and do the damage.

Now once you get the Winged Turtle’s heart meter to zero he will vanish, you will get your rewards and then start exploring areas to find him to attack again. She will be a very good source of Vials of Plasma.

The rewards levels I’ve seen are as follows:

Heart Meter 2 – 15 Vials of Plasma & 1 Nice Shell
Heart Meter 3 – 30 Vials of Plasma & 2 Nice Shell
Heart Meter 6 – 50 Vials of Plasma & 3 Nice Shell
Heart Meter 8 – 60 Vials of Plasma & 3 Nice Shell

***Remember as I said there may be other Heart Meter Levels, but until I see them in my game I can’t give any info on payouts***

There you have the overall basics to get you started through the first week of the new event. Where are you so far? Anything particular you like the most? Suggestions or tips to fellow players? Let us know.

  1. A couple of comments:
    1) I wouldn’t consider the ability to purchase Caveman Chris outright to be an oops. There are a lot of players that do not like the mystery box and refuse to try it but still would like to acquire the key character offered inside. Making him available at a higher clam price gives players the flexibility to decide how they choose to play. (I would have gladly paid more for ALF outright than gamble on a cheaper mystery box.) I hope they keep this feature as a standard from now on. That would be a good survey question to ask readers!
    2) Bone Thangs n’ Melodies has a chance to drop Thick Bones which appear to serve no purpose. However, it was intended for them to be a requirement to unlock Cavewoman Meg, according to the FAQs. Something got lost in the final release though. (As I type this, I see it has been patched and Meg now has the requirement for Thick Bones.) It should be noted that Mort and Tom Tucker also drop Thick Bones.
    3) Not sure if it is just my game, but you may get lucky and have some characters with 2x or 4x item drops for Steak and Thick Bones. For me, Lois sometimes drops one Steak, other times two. I’ve also had Tom Tucker drop four Thick Bones on occasion.

    • Caveman Chris is confirmed as an oops. So as much as I like giving players the choice, not sure we’ll see it again, unless as another oops.

The Big Bones have appeared in her unlock requirements for me overnight. Easily ticked off as they seemed drop in multiples each time from characters.

I’m seeing same with steak etc, a few players have said for years they get double drops etc, but I’m just seeing it now. I’m not complaining mind you.

  2. Do you know what the bones Tom Tucker and mort collect are for? They’re different to the “old bones” you get from the dinosaur.
