We’ve had lots of Quahog scares in the years gone by, and now it’s time for some more as The Cruise Of The Damned comes to Quahog.
EVENT ENDS
6th November 2019 at 3PM PDT
This is a 3 week event!!!
You can see the countdown timer for the event and other details by clicking on the Event Info Icon at the bottom of your screen.

CURRENT APP VERSION
Version 1.91.0
GAME NOTICEABLE CHANGES
The sea area has lost its sand again.
EVENT ANNOUNCEMENTS & INFORMATION
Aspirin – At launch there is no freemium way to get these, support are looking into this so hopefully see a fix later today.
Juggling Balls – At launch there is no freemium way to get these, unless you have previous premium characters, again support are looking into this so hopefully see a fix later today.
ADDICTS ANNOUNCEMENTS & INFORMATION
Post is complete apart from any changes to drops
The delays and extensions that caused chaos recently seem to be at an end
Please note future events may now start and end at 2PM PDT, so please keep an eye on the event end times, I’ll update information as I get it but as you know timing has been all off lately
EVENT GLITCHES & ISSUES
Questline dialogue glitch continues. Support are still trying to find out what’s happening here.
Event buildings are sometimes locked for random players, only TinyCo can fix this so let them know through your game support.
Some random info boxes missing and wrong titles on things, none affecting gameplay.
OTHER GLITCHES & ISSUES
Android connection errors – think this was due to issues outwith TinyCo control and hopefully now resolved.
Emulator connection issues – be sure you’ve updated your emulator version and then reinstall your saved game
The duplicate and triplicate characters glitch continues. I know I keep saying this but believe me TinyCo are working to try get this sorted. You must contact them as they need fix games on a one by one basis.
Reappearing Questlines – if you can simply redo them, or request TinyCo remove them.
Game crashing on older devices, and those with older/outdated software continues, it may be they can no longer handle the game. What I can tell you is if your device runs on 2gb of ram you may struggle with crashing, if it has less than 2gb ram it probably won’t run at all.
HOW TO CONTACT GAME SUPPORT

There’s 2 ways to do this, The first and best way is through your game main menu, select Help & Support and then tap ‘Contact Us’.
However if this isn’t possible, then you can contact support via email. The email address to use is – support@jamcity.com

Disapproving bystander

The Headless Horseman Boss will trigger as soon as you start week 2 of the event. This is your Main Boss this week. You will “Cure” him with Aspirin to defeat him to the highest level possible and obtain the most prizes. But as I say first you’ll need some Aspirin, you’ll find them here:
Aspirin (Always) – Get from Showgirl Joyce Kinney Parade, Chad Scare The Locals, Aspirin Shrine
You’ll see him wandering your sidewalks with a timer above His head.
Simply tap him and you’ll see the level requirement trade and rewards. Collect the Aspirin necessary for the cure then hit, eh, “Bribe“.

Here is the general breakdown of cure costs and rewards.
1X – Requires 1 Aspirin
Rewards – 10 Skull Coins & 1 Flaming Saxophones
2X – Requires 2 Aspirin
Rewards – 20 Skull Coins & 2 Flaming Saxophones
3X – Requires 3 Aspirin
Rewards – 30 Skull Coins & 4 Flaming Saxophones
4X – Requires 4 Aspirin
Rewards – 40 Skull Coins & 5 Flaming Saxophones
5X – Requires 5 Aspirin
Rewards – 50 Skull Coins
You have 24hrs to hit him to the highest level you can before he will rest (cool down). His cool down is 2 hours.
Please note when he returns he will be back at 1x unless you’ve used clams to wake him at the level he went into cool down at.
MINI DEATHS

These little baddies continue this week of the event and are quite simple to deal with, it’s just more of the tap, aim and fire you dud last week.
Before you can clear them you’ll need to get a Death Trap, you’ll get them from: Clearing Ghosts, Cruise Of The Damned Mystery Box, It’s All Relative DNA Testing
Once you have a Death Trap you will find them wandering around your sidewalks, either finding them by looking or using the squatter button.

Simply tap one of them to bring up the targeting screen.

Then move the Death Trap until the green target circle is on one but there’s a visual glitch that shows a hole of gears.

Just make sure they are on the Mini Death, then simply hit the check mark to clear it.

I am seeing up to a maximum of 16 in my game.
The event rewards for clearing them is as follows:
Per Mini Death Cleared:
1 Alcohol (Chance)
10 Skull Coins (Always)
Clearimg GHOSTS MINI-GAME

You’ll still need to play this to get Death Traps, so don’t forget to keep playing.
There you have the overall basics to get you started through this week of the latest Event. Where are you so far? Anything particular you like the most? Suggestions or tips to fellow players? Let us know.

Why does it cost 18 clams to create Jester Brian even when you have all items?

You’ve probably still got Juggling Balls to get, check this post https://familyguyaddicts.com/2019/10/26/jester-brian-unlock-requirements/

I find it annoying the Albert Einstein isn’t an always drop. If you spend clams for something (165 at least, could be more), shouldn’t it be an always drop. I have gotten 1 book from Albert in over 2 days. I’m not even sure he dropped it.

He’s dropped well for me, but I agree, this was a change made earlier on this year and I’ve told them a few times it’s an unfair change, premium characters should be always.

Is it just me going insane or did one or more characters drop the VIP Concert Passes when Week 2 started? The “building” drops two and need 4 for the next building yet I have an odd number of them and I could have sworn one of the characters dropped them as well???

Yeah Albert Einstein dropped them now doesn’t

Does Herman Munster have any drops?

No

In my game they stopped giving out alcohol for clearing mini deaths. Should have taken advantage when I could as I stopped at 25 thinking they might be needed later in the game.

I’ve raised this with them https://familyguyaddicts.com/2019/10/24/aspirin-juggling-ball-drops-are-fixed-but-alcohol-drops-are-now-broke/

With the myriad item changes, alcohol bottles aren’t dropping when I take out Mini Death. Tried 35 times and nothing. It’s not even registering the kill.
