EVENT GLITCHES & ISSUES
I think the Ghost Buckets heart and damage points are off.
Event buildings are sometimes locked for random players, only TinyCo can fix this so let them know through your game support.
GLITCHES & ISSUES
If your game is crashing or tasks not syncing and resetting please contact support, they need to manually fix your game.
Game crashing on older devices, and those with older/outdated software continues, it may be they can no longer handle the game. What I can tell you is if your device runs on 2gb of ram you may struggle with crashing, if it has less than 2gb ram it probably won’t run at all.
HOW TO CONTACT GAME SUPPORT
There’s 3 ways to do this, The first and best way is through your game main menu, select Help & Support and then tap ‘Contact Us’.
Go to their website and use the ‘Contact’ button: https://jamcity.helpshift.com/a/family-guy-the-quest-for-stuff/
However if neither of these are possible, then you can contact support via email. The email address to use is – support@jamcity.com

Gray ghost
When you start the part 2 of the main Questline you will trigger these in your Quahog. You will have to wait for them to appear before you can battle them using the characters below.
Battling these is similar to the battles you’ve done in previous events. You will find the them wandering your sidewalks, you can either find them by looking or if you have a big decorated town use the Squatter Button. When they appear, tapping on one will bring you up the attack menu, which gives you all the battle information.
I’ve simplified the information from that screen below.
Opponent Stats:
Gray Ghost: 8 Health Points, 8 Damage Hit, Undisclosed chance of knockout
Characters you can use stats (you can select 2):
Grimm Job Peter ~ 8 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 60% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
Stiff Man Chris ~ 8 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 40% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
Captain Pedantic ~ 12 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 20% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
And remember if you send in more than one character to attack, which I recommend if possible, the damage they do will be split across them. So if you’ve 2 characters fighting her she will hit each for 2 damage instead of 4, unless she misses or does a knockout blow then the damage will vary.
The rewards you get will depend on whether you only damage her, this is counted as a defeat, or if you fully kill her, this is a success. Remember any damage you do to her will stay until you attack her again.
DEFEAT/ROUND Payout:
Nothing
SUCCESS Payout:
15 Candy Corn (Always)
1 Ghost Ticket (Always)
2 Stick Candy (Always)
Cost To Battle: 1 Silver Bat
Now another point worth mentioning about your character’s Health healing it only starts to heal once it hits 0, so if you’ve 4/8 Health it will NOT go back up to 8/8 over time, it will only start to restore once you’re at 0/8. You can restore your character’s Health instantly but it costs at least 64 Clams, so I don’t advise it.
Ghost bucket
When you start Part 2 of the main Questline you will trigger him in your Quahog. You will have to wait for him to appear before you can battle him using the characters below.
You will find him wandering your sidewalks you can either find him by looking or if you have a big decorated town use the Squatter Button. When he appears tapping on him will bring you up the attack menu, which gives you all the battle information.
But I’ve simplified the information from the Attack screen below. Please note I think these are wrong and will be adjusted.
Opponent Stats:
Ghost Bucket: 4 Health Points, 0 Damage Hit, Undisclosed chance of knockout
Characters you can use Stats (you can select 2):
Grimm Job Peter ~ 8 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 60% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
Stiff Man Chris ~ 8 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 40% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
Captain Pedantic ~ 12 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 20% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
And remember if you send in more than one character to attack, which I recommend if possible, her damage will be split across them. So if you’ve 2 characters fighting her she will hit each for 6 damage instead of 12, unless she misses or does a knockout blow then the amount damage will vary.
The rewards you get will depend on whether you only damage her, this is counted as a defeat, or if you fully kill her, this is a success. Remember any damage you do to her will stay until you attack her again.
DEFEAT/ROUND Payout:
Nothing
SUCCESS Payout:
50 Candy Corn (Always)
15 Peanut Butter (Chance)
Cost To Battle: 3 Ghost Ticket
Now another point worth mentioning about your character’s Health healing it only starts to heal once it hits 0, so if you’ve 4/8 Health it will NOT go back up to 8/8 over time, it will only start to restore once you’re at 0/8. You can restore your character’s Health instantly but it costs at least 64 Clams, so I don’t advise it.
Witch kids
These are the little baddies this week of the event and are quite simple to deal with, it’s just more of the tap, aim and fire we’ve seen in previous events. Before you can clear them you’ll need to get a Heart Candy.
Once you have one you will will find them wandering your sidewalks, you can either find them by looking or if you have a big decorated town use the Squatter Button. When they appear, tapping on one will bring you up the targeting screen. Simply move the heart candy until the green target circle is on one to clear it.
I am seeing up to a maximum of 5 in my game.
The event rewards for clearing them is as follows:
For Each Cleared
5 Candy Corn (Always)
1 Salt Water Taffy (Always)
There you have the overall basics to get you started through this week of the latest event. Where are you so far? Anything particular you like the most? Suggestions or tips to fellow players? Let us know.

Ghosts only do 6 damage now. Much more doable.

Looks like the devs have changed the damage points the Grey Ghosts dole out from 8 to 6. That means Stiff Man Chris won’t automatically be knocked out now, so if the Ghost didn’t deal a critical hit, you can attack the Ghost again to beat it. This should help get those Stick Candies needed for Captain Pedantic.

Yeah they listened

Looks like they changed ghost to 6 damage….not sure when that happened but its in my game

Is ghost bucket really 0 hit damage? With only 4 health, that means any character can attack and defeat him, while suffering no damage? That doesn’t sound right.
LikeLike
I’m sure it’s not right, but that’s what it is, and I confirm it does no damage, pity it weren’t the Gray Ghosts that had that glitch
LikeLike
I guess they figure that since you have to kill three Grey Ghosts to get the tickets, you are already beat up enough! 😂

Quagmire’s costume is going to be a pain to get.
Kill 14 grey ghosts to get stick candy.
Stiff Man can only do 4 damage at a time so needs to attack each ghost twice yet has a 7 hour timer. So 1 ghost every 14 hours.
That’s over 8 days if you time it all perfectly.
But then you have to get 28 silver bats to make the attacks over 8 days.
3 characters doing an 8 hour uncommon task, so probably about 4 silver bats a day. That’s 7 straight days if timed perfectly.
One of the silver bat collectors is Stiff Man which cuts 1 hour into the 7 hour recovery.
So, it’ll take a minimum of 9 days to kill enough ghosts on top of the number of days it took you to get Stiff Man.
11 days worth of tasks don’t fit into a 7 day event phase.

It’s tough, I have had 2 lucky hits where I killed the Gray Ghost in one turn, so just got hope everyone gets that.
LikeLike
You get a double drop of stick candy when you defeat the ghost, so you only need to defeat 7 of them. Getting enough bats isn’t a problem. I’m already way ahead on bats. The problem is Stick Man’s dismal knockout chance. Not 40% in my experience, since I’ve never gotten the double damage in any of my fights so far, so it always takes two attacks in my experience.
LikeLike
Yeah, the double drop certainly helps, especially when it always took 2 attacks 7 hours (or so) apart. However, like RT, my final four attacks where knockouts, halving that time, too. I didn’t have much hope, but it turned around I have Capt Pedantic now much sooner than I expected.

How do you get popular Chris? You pretty much have to have him unless you want to buy the other.
LikeLike
He was a freemium unlock in the Riverfail event a few weeks ago – I have asked if this is an error and he should be a Chris costume
LikeLike
Yeah, because having him is the only freemium character that can clear ghosts to get that needed item
LikeLike
Yeah, I’m conscious some players couldn’t blame the Riverfail event due to glitches so may not have Popular Chris
LikeLike
So I guess, just sit this game out?
LikeLike
No, collect stuff incase they can help you, I have asked them about this, please message support as well and explain glitches stopped you getting Popular Chris and now you can’t play this event

I did message them. Fingers crossed.

I’m feeling very nostalgic with the addition of the candy buckets. It takes me back to that time long ago when we had to collect candies each day for pink Brian. Those were the days, LOL. Also, for the candy we are supposed to get for Stiff man, for an uncommon drop, it’s more like rare.

Noticed that Stiff Man is a costume for Popular Chris, not for the regular Chris Griffin.

Yeah that’s right

Is Stiff Man Chris supposed to be in the costume store straight away under the Chris tab?

He’s a costume for Popular Chris not Chris
