EVENT GLITCHES & ISSUES
I think the Ghost Buckets heart and damage points are off.
Event buildings are sometimes locked for random players, only TinyCo can fix this so let them know through your game support.
GLITCHES & ISSUES
If your game is crashing or tasks not syncing and resetting please contact support, they need to manually fix your game.
Game crashing on older devices, and those with older/outdated software continues, it may be they can no longer handle the game. What I can tell you is if your device runs on 2gb of ram you may struggle with crashing, if it has less than 2gb ram it probably won’t run at all.
HOW TO CONTACT GAME SUPPORT
There’s 3 ways to do this,
The first and best way is through your game main menu, select Help & Support and then tap ‘Contact Us’.
Go to their website and use the ‘Contact’ button: https://jamcity.helpshift.com/a/family-guy-the-quest-for-stuff/
However if neither of these are possible, then you can contact support via email. The email address to use is – support@jamcity.com

Vampires
When you start the main Questline you will trigger these in your Quahog. You will have to wait for them to appear before you can battle them using the characters below.
Battling these is similar to the battles you’ve done in previous events. You will find the them wandering your sidewalks, you can either find them by looking or if you have a big decorated town use the Squatter Button. When they appear, tapping on one will bring you up the attack menu, which gives you all the battle information.
I’ve simplified the information from that screen below.
Opponent Stats:
Vampire: 12 Health Points, 6 Damage Hit, Undisclosed chance of knockout
Characters you can use stats (you can select 2):
Feline Ruth ~ 8 Health Points, 8 Damage Hit, 20% Chance knockout, Heal time 9hrs
Stiff Man Chris ~ 8 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 40% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
Boy Virgin Neil ~ 4 Health Points, 8 Damage Hit, 30% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
And remember if you send in more than one character to attack, which I recommend if possible, the damage they do will be split across them. So if you’ve 2 characters fighting it, they will hit each for 2 damage instead of 4, unless it misses or does a knockout blow then the damage will vary.
The rewards you get will depend on whether you only damage it, this is counted as a defeat, or if you fully kill it, this is a success. Remember any damage you do to her will stay until you attack it again.
DEFEAT/ROUND Payout:
Nothing
SUCCESS Payout:
15 Candy Corn (Always)
1 Bat Ticket (Always)
5 Heart Candy (Always)
2 Jawbreaker Candy (Always)
Cost To Battle: 3 Silver Bats
Now another point worth mentioning about your character’s Health healing it only starts to heal once it hits 0, so if you’ve 4/8 Health it will NOT go back up to 8/8 over time, it will only start to restore once you’re at 0/8. You can restore your character’s Health instantly but it costs at least 64 Clams, so I don’t advise it.
Bat bucket
When you start the main Questline you will trigger him in your Quahog. You will have to wait for him to appear before you can battle him using the characters below.
You will find him up in the event area, you can either find him by looking or if you have a big decorated town use the Squatter Button. When he appears tapping on him will bring you up the attack menu, which gives you all the battle information.
But I’ve simplified the information from the Attack screen below. Please note I think these are wrong and will be adjusted.
Opponent Stats:
Bat Bucket: 8 Health Points, 0 Damage Hit, Undisclosed chance of knockout
Characters you can use Stats (you can select 2):
Grimm Job Peter ~ 8 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 60% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
Stiff Man Chris ~ 8 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 40% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
Captain Pedantic ~ 12 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 20% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs

DEFEAT/ROUND Payout:
Nothing
SUCCESS Payout:
50 Candy Corn (Always)
15 Heart Candy (Always)
4,Jawbreaker Candy (Chance)
Cost To Battle: 3 Bat Ticket

Gray ghosts
You still need to battle these this week.
I’ve simplified the information from that screen below.
Opponent Stats:
Gray Ghost: 8 Health Points, 6 Damage Hit, Undisclosed chance of knockout
Characters you can use stats (you can select 2):
Grimm Job Peter ~ 8 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 60% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs

There you have the overall basics to get you started through this week of the latest event. Where are you so far? Anything particular you like the most? Suggestions or tips to fellow players? Let us know.

I’m new to the game and I don’t understand how I can fight ghosts. It says I need a character like captain pedantic to fight but I can’t unlock him without fighting a ghost to get the material. I don’t want to spend money on clams for grim Peter and idk how to get stiff man chris
LikeLike
You need to unlock the Stuff Man Chris costume first, he can fight the Gray Ghosts

Terrible event. Dull and needlessly hard. No interesting characters worth spending clams on and a lazy leftover from the bad Riverdale rip-off event. Disappointing for Halloween. Zero spooky factor.

As everyone has said… the silver bats are the killer here. There are only 4 characters on an 8 hour cycle and the bats are ‘uncommon’. I often finish all 4 and get maybe 1 bat if im lucky. RARELY 3!. never 4.
Given that the Vampires need 3 bats to fight… and it could easily take 4 characters 2 cycles to have enough for one fight… (16 hours ie one practical day) AND then you need up to 3 fights to defeat a vampire…
I started this week with a fair few silver bats saved up – of course I burned through them very quickly – now I have none and my ability to collect candy coated popcorn has diminished to maybe one every 2 days – collecting 9 is impossible in the week.
Although its happened a few times over the years.. its pretty unusual that freemium players have an impossible task.
My suggestion… At the very least make the silver bats ‘always’ – given the 8 hour cycle and the drop rate and the requirement for the vampire fights…
Also, Im on part 5 when they want you to defeat 2 ghosts. What is the point of that where they also need precious silver bats to fight (cant spare any till ive got the vampires sorted!) – and then they dont drop anything useful to progress the game right now! (bonnie alone has already collected enough of the candy thing)

They’ve reduced it from 3 to 2 Bats but wish had done it sooner

They’ve changed the vampire and ghost hit strength to 6 yet most battles they’re still knocking me out with 8!
LikeLike
Yes. Exactly. I’ve had this happen 5 of the last 6 times. It doesn’t do much good to reduce the number of bats needed by 33% if you have to double the number of battles.

I’ve unlocked Ruth’s costume but it’s not showing up in my game, has anyone else had this problem?

It’s a costume for Hot Ten Ruth nor Ruth, do you have Hit Teen Ruth?

Getting enough silver bats is going to be the killer. I had 15 or so left over from phase 1, but now I’ve completely burned through my supply. I’m going to have to take a day off from fighting vampires just to build up a little supply of bats. They really needed one of this week’s buildings to drop bats instead of something useless like heart candy, which I have a ton of already.

What is the chewing gum used for?
Also taking 3 attacks(max) to defeat vampires (12HP) in Freemium seems kind of insane! so that is 9 * 3* 3 = thats 81 silver bats…chance of 4 every 8 hrs (thats 21 times…thats 168 hrs = thats 7 days assuming you don’t sleep and play exactly every 8 hrs and you get a drop every single time from all 4 of them)…
I don’t normally complain but that seems excessive….

Chewing Gum is for unlocking Boy Virgin Neil

typical phase 2 baddie needing 3 items to fight. bit rough that chris only does 4 damage but vampire health is 12 so thats up to 9 needed per battle.
Any info given as to why the bucket’s have 0 damage?
it’s a nice little earner once you get enough items to fight it but seems pointless/wasted.

No info on why and I’m not going push for answers, I’d rather they fix the other stuff and not prioritise something that helps plYers a little, just pity it’s not the Vampires

They changed the vampire strength to 6 but they still have 12 hit points and without Ruth, Chris is the only one who can fight. That’s 3 fights per vampire, 3 bats per fight, 9 vampires for Neil, 81 bats total (minus some for crits unless you can also miss).
They really messed up this week.

Looks like they changed the vampire hit strength to 6 from 8, so you should now be able to do two fights before Stiff Man is knocked out. This change must have happened a few hours after the week launched, because on my first fight, the vampire did 8 damage and knocked out Stiff Man
LikeLike
Yeah it changed but I wish they’d took the 12 health down as well

Gotta be honest this is the weekest Halloween event they’ve done.
