So the New Year partying is over, the fireworks have burnt out, the season of goodwill is behind us and the New Year event is underway in our games. Yes looks like 2021 is here to stay, well for another 355 days at least.
What’s a FGQFS Addict to do once the party’s over and the daily grind has returned? Well apart from enjoying breaking all those new year resolutions, how’s about helping Jam City to make some? C’mon lift your 2021 already weary heads from their Sunday slumbers and take this once in a blue moon, ok once in a year, opportunity to tell Jam City what YOU want to see in the Family Guy The Quest for Stuff game in the year ahead.
What would you like to see more or what would you like to see less of? What new characters or features would you like to see, or even what old characters or features you’d like to see brought back? Is there an event you loved that you’d like to see a sequel to, or an event you missed you’d love them to revisit? Is there any changes you’d like to see to the layout of the game, the inventory, anything at all?
Basically this is to ask you to help them make the game better, so share your thoughts with us in the comments.

Fix the crashes!!! I thought at first it was just the older phones, but when it’s either an IPhone 11 or 12, then it’s Jam City’s problem to fix!! If you move the screen just a little bit, it throw’s you out!! Even worse on the new update on 04/07/21. Crashes and Crashes…🤬

I’ve already commented but after seeing other people’s comments I thought I would echo a few things and add some of my own personal wants
– get rid of mystery boxes (absolutely useless and just a waste of money, or at least make the prizes more worthwhile)
– return of licensed characters and events (DC, American Dad, Ghostbusters, original Star Wars, Rocky, Karate Kid, Alien vs Predator, Celebrities etc)
– new licensed characters and events (Marvel, the Mandolorian, The Witcher, Rick and Morty, Assassins creed, Cobra Kai, Peaky Blinders, Power etc)
– Simpsons Family Guy crossover event (Could happen in both games aswell)
– Cannabis event 😂
– Game stop crashing
– More use for tan lines and alternate quahogs
– cancelling tasks
– group select for moving buildings around
– a grid view for character costumes or a way to view each one easier
– making clams easier to get or make premium characters slightly cheaper

I was really disappointed in the repeat characters they brought back. Imo they aren’t what most players would have wanted at all. I mean 90s Cleveland and the Easter bunny? I was really hoping for the fairy tale characters of Peter, Meg or Herbert. Again imo teacup Joe and fairy Bruce (well and the bird Quagmire) were the lamest out of all that events characters.

In no particular order, these are the things I’d like:
– The possibility to cancel tasks if you send a character on a wrong task (no drops of course).
– Voices for the new characters.
– More old characters added to QHS. I’m at rank 69 so I have still plenty to go on with, but I wouldn’t like QHS to become obsolete and useless after Rank 122. It’s an awesome feature imo.
– A little variety on long events. We have three or four formats now, and new events are just copy-paste of previous ones; same questlines, same quantities, same minigames/battle formats, bad guy designs. I understand it may be ‘safer’ to use something that already works, but I kind of miss the achievement list that got you extra prices in that time travel event based on the K Reeves movie, or the battles in the summer camp event (despite the bugs we ended up having, it was innovative, we must admit)
– And I’ll keep asking for a Stephen King related event, with all its possible copyright issues XD We could have Annie Wilkes Stewie, Andy Dufresne Peter, Red Cleveland or Paul Sheldon Brian like in the Three Kings episode (with S King available to unlock or buy for clams, but not in a mystery box, please). I’d like it best if it were based on the novels rather than the movies, but maybe it makes more sense to base it on the show episode.
Some current things I like and would like to stay the same are:
– The mini events with a new character and a returning one; they are more relaxing for players who unlock everything and gives an extra chance to players who don’t.
– The little clam reward at the end of main questlines.
Something I’d like to go away:
– Mystery boxes (Yes, I really dislike them)

An easier way to get through multiple costumes, So not having to scroll left/right for ages trying to get a specific version of Peter, etc.
Instead of a side scroll have it a grid layout similar to how you chose characters to put in QHS.

Would be nice if past skins like, on Christmas events I always wait for Santa or God to have some participation but never ever they had.
I don’t like either that I have to get anyone that I will use for the event out and check all skins to know if I need them for the event.
I do like the medal system, the vacuum and the option to have all skins or characters that I’m missing when I stop playing 3 years ago.

I just want them to stop the constant game freezes.
It would also be great if we could select a group of buildings/decorations, put them in storage, then take them out in one of the other lands – yes, just like TSTO implemented a couple of years ago. As it is, it’s just too painful to put stuff in storage, search through and find it again, then remember how I had it designed before.

To clarify, I meant I seconded the part about “grouping things, to move to another Land…” I want to clean up Quahog, and use the other lands to display event items.

I’ll echo what Jon (and I’m sure a few other players once more comments are pushed) said, the crashing really needs to be fixed. Nothing new there.
Beyond that…I’d like to see something done with these extra “lands” we have. Understanding that they are primarily a way to get extra land without completely sinking the game…it would be nice if either they became extra Districts (allowing continuation of the main storyline beyond District 11), with new characters and costumes, or perhaps a way to unlock older characters and costumes through new questlines.
Events could do with some refreshing also. As we all know, they’ve devolved into nothing more than the same basic three versions that have simply been re-skinned (and the developers are so lazy, they don’t always bother changing the names from past events!). Understand that’s easier said than done, especially given the struggles to even field a semi-functional game.
Overall, just something to rekindle interest and make the game feel fresh again would be nice.

I 100% agree with the lack of effort being put into the events this last year. Just the same old thing repeated with different characters. While events in the past were way harder (which I am so glad they changed that) they were also really creative and more engaging.

Of the 2020 items I would have wished to be part of the New Years event the most were the Space Cats. They were stuck behind the mystery box wall like Kid Meg which we got to earn in this event.

A few thoughts in no particular order:
**a stable game that doesn’t take 5 minutes to load and won’t crash multiple times a day
**reduce the number of gold needed to unlock a character
**more events like the Star Trek ones from several years ago
**figure out something to do with the $110M+ coins I’ve got
**get rid of the “max” level and show everyone what level they’re actually on
**ask Ollie why he hasn’t updated his playspace since the game started

besides waiting for the season pass to happen, I think them bringing more old characters and costumes back would be nice like how they did during the space event and randomly added them to the game. Having old characters and costumes to unlock while new events occur would be nice. I would love to see more chances or ideas to unlock trophies cause trying to gather the medals from the historical society and from new characters & costumes is taking awhile. I hope the season pass comes soon cause i’m ready!!

I wouldn’t mind them revisiting older events. Lately it seems they’re just making up weird outfits for the main cast…kinda gets old after a while.
This would serve two purposes, giving people that might need the characters a new chance to get them and secondly it would give others a bit of a break if they already have them.
Collecting for the historical society is nice but almost way too time consuming.

2. How about events with related content and no mis-spellings. In other words, no fireworks, mixed with zombies, mixed with fire creatures to earn Little Meg. It really makes it seem that the devs are either phoning it in, or intentionally using content that has nothing to do with each other just to see if we’ll notice.

It was nice (when I had it), but I think it should be limited. I used it when I had 1 or 2 tasks that were less than 2 hours from completion (one video to view, to bypass), if I was headed for bed, and needed the drop. Other than that, I rarely used it. There is now speculation that you only get it when below a certain clam count, and I guess that is fair, as we can also use a few clams to accomplish the same thing. (1/2 hour = 1 clam, usually.)

I have asked for this for the past several years and it was offered, like, in the first two years of the game. I want a Christmas decorated Griffin house skin. Every Christmas my Griffin house stands bare of the Christmas spirit.

Let us earn characters and decorations from events from years ago when the game first launched. Didn’t earn a killer from the first Halloween? Missed a decoration from the second Christmas event? Maybe like me you want the Irish event come back because you completely missed it. I had issues with my game recently and Jam City completely took care of it. But I missed earning Penguin Brian. I’m sure other people had the same problem from previous events.

The ability to turn things on and off, like Peters Daily Tasks where three characters go do things for whatever reason.
Change the character upgrade screen once the character gets past event tasks. This is the one that tells us about no more stoppage and just slows down getting characters out of QHS, once they are not telling us what new tasks the character can now do, they are useless and a whole screen that makes the player find the button in the lower corner to tap is annoying. Make them just small windows that open to infowm but don’t interfere with game play.
The ability to find and extract one character from QHS when there are multiples that may be ready to collect. Like a character has a task and now it shows Peter telling us Aw, we need so and so to do that, but tapping the building randomly pulls characters out.

Instead of having to travel to any Multiverses,(which takes FOREVER) why not open up the ability to clear more land in our current Quahog?
Make it so the neighbor feature ACTUALLY works
Make it so we can help our neighbors with actions or resources they may need. (I’d limit that one to no more than one request per day and only two of any item they may need to finish a quest)
Award trophies for premium characters that need to be purchased with clams.
That’s all I have for now. I’ve been playing this game for awhile – I’ll definately think of more.

Many old buildings – a lot of coins not used – a lot of worlds not used
Why not create a QHS for old buildings that you can purchase with coins?

1.) To get Fast Forward back since that is the only way I was able to get all the characters and finish each quest.
2.) Be able to fix the game to prevent crashing and freezing every time you try to play
3.) Be able to use more characters to get the parts we need for each new character or to complete the new quests. We have 100’s of characters but only a handful can be used for each quest/parts.
4.) Reduce the amount of clams needs to buy the parts for a character. Some of them you need over a 1000 clams and then once you get them they are useless for any future quests.
5.) Fix the game so that when we are supposed to receive a Trophy to use for obtain past character we actually receive the Trophy. There have been a few times that it show I should receive a Trophy but once I complete the character I do not receive it (does not show up in the Quahog Historical Society)

It’s been requested numerous times already – the option to CANCEL a task.
Roll out the fast forward feature to all players. This option would also help speed up a task that you weren’t able to cancel.
Stop with the 12 hour tasks that don’t drop. As well as having 8 hour tasks that are rare (sometimes seem nonexistent in dropping item) which causes frustration and takes away any enjoyment in playing the game.
Fix CLAM TV for those players that have been waiting months and in my case over a year.
