Is peter in an Alternate Quahog?

I just had a weird but nice thing happen. I was collecting medals from Quahog Historical Society Museum and the game crashed while it was popping out characters. But when I started the game back up, I got a message saying “Thanks for coming back to the game. We have something special for you.” or something like that. And then a bunch of clams popped up, maybe 5, but I got something like 500 clams! Has anyone else experienced this?

I’ve had it happen since I updated to 3.9.0 on iOS. Crashes every time during unloading of QHS. Never happened before the latest update. Always have to get back into the game, but haven’t gotten any clam reward.

Just got 500 clams dropped on me with a “welcome back to the game, thanks for playing” message. Wow.
