Make sure you’ve updated to the latest App version.
GAME NOTICEABLE CHANGES
None.
EVENT GLITCHES & ISSUES
You won’t see Rogue Brian & Sorcerer Stewie to repair in the unlock area until Part 2 of the main Questline.
Event buildings are sometimes locked for random players, only TinyCo can fix this so let them know through your game support.
GLITCHES & ISSUES
Loading is extremely slow at this time.
Game crashing on older devices, and those with older/outdated software continues, it may be they can no longer handle the game. What I can tell you is if your device runs on 2gb of ram you may struggle with crashing, if it has less than 2gb ram it probably won’t run at all.
HOW TO CONTACT GAME SUPPORT
There’s 3 ways to do this, The first and best way is through your game main menu, select Help & Support and then tap ‘Contact Us’.
Go to their website and use the ‘Contact’ button: https://jamcity.helpshift.com/a/family-guy-the-quest-for-stuff/
However if neither of these are possible, then you can contact support via email. The email address to use is – support@jamcity.com

Quahog School Of magic
Here is where you can exchange your Magic Apple Seeds for Golden Apples to fight Shadow Herbert. I’ll update this as I get new exchanges.
This is the exchanges I’ve seen in my game so far:
8 Magic Flowers = 3 Fire Resistance Potions
9 Magic Flowers = 3 Fire Resistance Potions
12 Magic Flowers = 3 Fire Resistance Potions
14 Magic Flowers = 3 Fire Resistance Potions
20 Magic Flowers = 3 Fire Resistance Potions
Character/costume battle STATISTICS
Barbarian Peter
Health Points: 12
Damage Hit: 6
Chance Knockout: 60%
Heal Time: 7hrs
Rogue Brian
Health Points: 8
Damage Hit: 4
Chance Knockout: 40%
Heal Time: 7hrs
Sorcerer Stewie
Health Points: 10
Damage Hit: 4
Chance Knockout: 20%
Heal Time: 7hrs
Remember if you send more than one character to attack, which I recommend if possible, the damage your opponent does will be split across them. So if you’ve 2 characters fighting, they will be hit for 2 damage instead of 4, unless it misses or does a knockout blow then the damage will vary.
And another point worth mentioning about your character’s Health healing it only starts to heal once it hits 0, so if you’ve 4/8 Health it will NOT go back up to 8/8 over time, it will only start to restore once you’re at 0/8. You can restore your character’s Health instantly but it costs at least 64 Clams, so I don’t advise it.
MINOTAUR
When you start the main Questline you will trigger these in your Quahog. You will have to wait for them to appear before you can battle them using the characters below.
Battling these is similar to the battles you’ve done in previous events. You will find the them wandering your sidewalks, you can either find them by looking or if you have a big decorated town use the Squatter Button. When they appear, tapping on one will bring you up the attack menu, which gives you all the battle information.
I’ve simplified the information from that screen below.
Minotaur Stats
Health: 8
Damage: 4
Knockout: Unknown
Cost To Battle: 1 6-Sided Dice
Characters/Costumes you can use to battle (you can select a max of 2): Barbarian Peter, Rogue Brian, Sorcerer Stewie
Rewards for defeating:
15 D20 (Always)
5 Magic Flower (Always)
2 Spell Book (Always)
Evil wIzard carter
When you start Part 2 of the main Questline you will trigger him in your Quahog. You will have to wait for him to appear before you can battle him using the characters below.
You will find him up in the event area, you can either find him by looking or if you have a big decorated town use the Squatter Button. When he appears tapping on him will bring you up the attack menu, which gives you all the battle information.
But I’ve simplified the information from the Attack screen below. Please note I think these are wrong and will be adjusted.
Evil Wizard Carter Stats
Health: 16
Damage: 16
Knockout: Unknown
Cost To Battle: 2 Fire Resistance Potion
Characters/Costumes you can use to battle (you can select a max of 2): Barbarian Peter, Rogue Brian, Sorcerer Stewie
Rewards for defeating:
50 D20 (Always)
15 Swords (Always)
Evil wizard apprentice
These are the little baddies this week of the event and are quite simple to deal with, it’s just more of the tap, aim and fire we’ve seen in previous events. Before you can clear them you’ll need to get a Sword.
Once you have one you will will find them wandering your sidewalks, you can either find them by looking or if you have a big decorated town use the Squatter Button. When they appear, tapping on one will bring you up the targeting screen. Simply move the Sword until the green target circle is on one to clear it.
I am seeing up to a maximum of 5 in my game.
The event rewards for clearing them is as follows:
For Each Cleared
5 D20 (Always)
1 Magic Staff (Always)
There you have the overall basics to get you started through this week of the latest event. Where are you so far? Anything particular you like the most? Suggestions or tips to fellow players? Let us know.
The drops of the “common” milk from the building are dismal for me. I’ve had the building for 3 days, and only one drop. It’s the only thing that I need for Stewie, and I still have only 10/14 of what’s needed.

I really wish we would get to keeo the school of magic after the event ends, it’s really cool looking. Plus we technically did have to pay for it. 😉

I somehow managed to get the silver dice statue twice and the castle arches twice from the VIP Season Pass. I clicked on them and added them to my town. When I opened the game the next time, both were there to click again for some reason.
Both of the silver dice statues are on their own timer and both drop D20. An error in my favor for a change!

Anyone having drop issues with Cloaks from Chris?
Seems to be the bottle neck for me.
I have 1 in 5.
At this rate I’ll have everything (including the Buildings) but Spellbooks for Stewie before I unlock Chris….
I’m getting better drops for Wild Magic (Rare – 3 out of 6) than I am for Cloaks (Uncommon 1 out of 5)…And I just got the building that drops Wild magic….so *shrug*
Again its only Friday and its been only 45+ hours since the Event released….

They dropped well for me, anyone else?

Pretty much right after I posted this I got 3 in cloaks row….. (24hrs)
Then boom 2 crits on minotaurs
Now time for a 10hr task!
Going to be a grind to get Stewie before Wednesday (phase 2 start) I suspect….

My cloak drops from Chris have been abysmal as well–three days in and I still only have two, need two more. At this rate there’s a very strong possibility I’ll have Sorcerer Stewie unlocked before Rogue Brian (I purchased Barbarian Peter, that and good dice drops and a few knockout hits, I was able to get all the spellbooks needed, so there’s that). I really hate when they have only one character that can collect a material, every eight hours, then make it an uncommon (or worse) drop. Either shorten the collection time to four hours, or make it an always drop, or get another character on the same task.

I had bad drops but not as bad as 0 out of 8 reported by someone else

Chris is the only character that can collect cloaks and I’ve sent him 8 times in the past 3 days to get them and I have 0. At this drop rate I won’t even have him by the end let alone Brian.

I had good drops on these, must got lucky as couple others struggling with them

I gotta say it’s a bit annoying that they have all that space in the event area, but managed to put Stewie and Brian right next to each other…and both right on top of the event building. I gotta zoom way in in order to click the event table.

I agree

This annoyed me as well. Even worse on the mini events that you can’t move the characters and could accidentally click an item checkmark you aren’t ready to use yet.

Season Pass, for me at least, in this event is pants.
Costs 600 clams and aside from event stuff you get a clam return of 55.
I don’t think it’s worth it

Plus an event statue and a new character

I think the there are 2 new characters (4620 looks like peter) and then the final 6000 XP reward.
My only complaint with these Season Pass is that by the end of Phase 1, early Phase 2, I’ve completed it….I wish they gave some “Phase 3” items as part of the it. Or Stop the XP accumulator. Or Phase Rewards or something….

The 6000XP is the new character, any others are returning characters/costumes, who you see will depend on what you already have

Apparently it’s different for everyone still. Mine cost either 600 clams or $5, which was almost a no-brainer for me–spend the $5, as $5 only gets me 130 clams from the Clam Shack. Including the free prize tier, I end up getting 430 clams, not including the 35 clams for completing the FaceSpace set that includes the Dragonmire Baby character (why that set doesn’t return the more usual 75 clams for sets with premium characters is another issue). In summation, for that $5, I pick up 430 clams plus a character, besides the other bits and bobs along the prize track. If they could do that every event for $5, I’d be all in.

You got a good deal there

True. When you look at it that way there’s actually 6 characters/skins and only 2 of them are in QHS, so far.
Still, I think I’d prefer the clam reward and choose my own characters/skins rather than ones I wouldn’t have chosen if money/clams was no object.

Mine shows a return of 255 clams?
