Being forced to Alternate Lands to put characters on tasks – reported this to support.
Game crashing on older devices, and those with older/outdated software continues, it may be they can no longer handle the game. What I can tell you is if your device runs on 2gb of ram you may struggle with crashing, if it has less than 2gb ram it probably won’t run at all.

Bouncer
These are the little baddies this week of the event and are quite simple to deal with, it’s just a simple tap and they are gone.
After you find these during an investigation you will find they wander towards your sidewalks. You can find them by looking or using the Squatter Button.
Simply tap one of them and it’s gone.
The event rewards for clearing each one is as follows:

Gang of thugs
Here is another new battle, it’s similar to what we’ve seen in previous events.
Basically you need to find them during an investigation. If you find one it will appear over in the top left of your event area. Please note before you can attack it you need to repair it. Tap on the hammer to do this.
Now the heart meter level has been different each time I have found him but this might vary in your game. To defeat them you need to get his heart meter to 0.
Now you’ve 24 hours to fully deplete his heart meter, and you do so by attacking him with:
Character: Greaser Tom Tucker
Damage: 4
Time: 3hrs
Character: Disco Peter
Damage: 2
Time: 3hrs
Now once you get their heart meter to zero he will vanish, you will get your rewards and then start exploring areas to find him to attack again. He will be a very good source of Vinyl Records.
The rewards levels I’ve seen are as follows:
Heart Meter 2 – 15 Vinyl Records & 1 Little Blue Pill
Heart Meter 4 – 30 Vinyl Records & 2Little Blue Pill
Heart Meter 6 – 50 Vinyl Records & 3Little Blue Pill
Heart Meter 8 – 60 Vinyl Records & 5Little Blue Pill
***Remember as I said there may be other Heart Meter Levels, but until I see them in my game I can’t give any info on payouts***

Feels very ‘premium’. Aa has been said, 8 hour uncommon drop from one character (shirts). Then they taunt you by showing the other unlockable character can help… but you can’t get that character without the first one.

I just unlocked Lois and still don’t have Peter; I’m 2 shirts away, so I put Lois on the task, too

We’re you able to unlock Bell Bottom Lois because you bought Greaser Tom Tucker to defeat gangs? You need blue pills for her that you can only get from defeating them. I feel like it’s going to take too long to get Peter and with only him to fight it will take a while to get 7 blue pills for Lois in time for the next phase. Frustrating. I’m considering buying Greaser Tom Tucker to help, but I don’t really want that characters costume. I doubt that we can get Peter and Lois freemium before the next phase. I hate that pressure!

The reduction of Connies task time for the Aloha Shirts should help get Disvo Peter sooner.
If you really don’t like the Greaser Tom Tucker, don’t buy him. I’m not going lie buying him at start of event would give you wee boost through but if it’s just to get the blue pills, not worth it as he costs 270 clams, whereas to buy out the 7 blue pill is only 28 clams, blue pills only cost 4 clams each.

They’ve knocked the task back to four hours, which helps a lot. Drops have been good as well, though I’m not sure if it’s my own good fortune or if they tuned the chance. Wasn’t a good look, their quality control seems to be lacking, but at least they addressed this one pretty quickly.

I completely agree. In any case see it 4 hour task and with advertising I had a very lucky drop rate and so had it done pretty fast

Connie’s task has changed from 8 hours to 4 hours now. Hopefully this will help. Have all over items for Peter and only 2 shirts!

Once again they make a task that only one character can do, it’s eight hours, and it’s an uncommon drop, and then we need ten of those things. Yes, Bell Bottom Lois does drop Aloha shirts as well, but we’re supposed to unlock Disco Peter first, so that’s pointless. Bad form, Jam City. At least make it an always drop.

You’ve probably already noticed, but they’ve reduced the time to 4 hours now. The drops still aren’t great, but at least we have more chances.
