EVENT GLITCHES & ISSUES

Event buildings are sometimes locked for random players, only TinyCo can fix this so let them know through your game support.

GLITCHES & ISSUES

Loading is extremely slow at this time.

Game crashing on older devices, and those with older/outdated software continues, it may be they can no longer handle the game. What I can tell you is if your device runs on 2gb of ram you may struggle with crashing, if it has less than 2gb ram it probably won’t run at all.

HOW TO CONTACT GAME SUPPORT

There’s 3 ways to do this, The first and best way is through your game main menu, select Help & Support and then tap ‘Contact Us’.

Go to their website and use the ‘Contact’ button: https://jamcity.helpshift.com/a/family-guy-the-quest-for-stuff/

However if neither of these are possible, then you can contact support via email. The email address to use is – support@jamcity.com

Here is where you can exchanges. I’ll update this as I get new exchanges.

This is the exchanges I’ve seen in my game so far:

2 Antivirus = 3 Pumpkin

3 Body Spray = 3 Antivirus
5 Body Spray = 3 Antivirus
7 Body Spray = 3 Antivirus
9 Body Spray = 3 Antivirus
12 Body Spray = 3 Antivirus

8 Onions = 3 Garlic Bombs
9 Onions = 3 Garlic Bombs
12 Onions = 3 Garlic Bombs
14 Onions  = 3 Garlic Bombs
20 Onions = 3 Garlic Bombs

Character/costume battle STATISTICS

Blob Fish Meg
Health Points:
 8
Damage Hit: 4
Chance Knockout: 40%
Heal Time: 7hrs

Multi Eyed Brian
Health Points: 10
Damage Hit: 4
Chance Knockout: 20%
Heal Time: 7hrs

Slime Chris
Health Points: 12
Damage Hit: 6
Chance Knockout: 60%
Heal Time: 7hrs

Countess Lois
Health Points: 8
Damage Hit: 8
Chance Knockout: 20%
Heal Time: 9hrs

Stereo Head Peter
Health Points: 4
Damage Hit: 8
Chance Knockout: 30%
Heal Time: 7hrs

Creepy Bonnie
Health Points: 4
Damage Hit: 6
Chance Knockout: 30%
Heal Time: 3hrs

Assembled Joe
Health Points: 4
Damage Hit: 6
Chance Knockout: 20%
Heal Time: 7hrs

Remember if you send more than one character to attack, which I recommend if possible, the damage your opponent does will be split across them. So if you’ve 2 characters fighting, they will be hit for 2 damage instead of 4, unless it misses or does a knockout blow then the damage will vary.

And another point worth mentioning about your character’s Health healing  it only starts to heal once it hits 0, so if you’ve 4/8 Health it will NOT go back up to 8/8 over time, it will only start to restore once you’re at 0/8. You can restore your character’s Health instantly but it costs at least 64 Clams, so I don’t advise it.

Headless horseman

When you start the main Questline you will trigger these in your Quahog. You will have to wait for them to appear before you can battle them using the characters below.

Battling these is similar to the battles you’ve done in previous events. You will find the them wandering your sidewalks, you can either find them by looking or if you have a big decorated town use the Squatter Button. When they appear,  tapping on one will bring you up the attack menu, which gives you all the battle information.

I’ve simplified the information from that screen below.

Stats
Health: 9
Damage: 4
Knockout: Unknown

Cost To Battle: 3 Pumpkin

Characters/Costumes you can use to battle (you can select a max of 2): Creepy Bonnie, Blob Fish Meg, Slime Chris, Stereo Head Peter, Countess Lois, Assembled Joe

Rewards for defeating:
15 Creepy Pastas (Always)
5 Onions (Always)
1 Cape (Always)
2 Olde Candle (Always)
5 Tin Cans (Always)

Characters/Costumes you can use to battle (you can select a max of 2): Multi Eyed Brian, Slime Chris, Stereo Head Peter, Creepy Bonnie, Blob Fish Meg, Countess Lois, Assembled Joe

4 Olde Candles (Always)
1 Brain (Always)
15 Tin Cans (Always)
4 Test Tubes (Always)

Reverse merman

These are the little baddies this week of the event and are quite simple to deal with, it’s just more of the tap, aim and fire we’ve seen in previous events. Before you can clear them you’ll need to get a Tin Can.

Once you have one you will will find them wandering your sidewalks, you can either find them by looking or if you have a big decorated town use the Squatter Button. When they appear,  tapping on one will bring you up the targeting screen. Simply move the Homework until the green target circle is on one to clear it.

I am seeing up to a maximum of 5 in my game.

The event rewards for clearing them is as follows:

For Each Cleared
5 Creepy Pastas (Always)
1 Fish Scales  (Always)
1 Test Tube (Always)

There you have the overall basics to get you started through this week of the latest event. Where are you so far? Anything particular you like the most? Suggestions or tips to fellow players? Let us know.

  1. The lightning rod drop rate is a joke. I’ve only gotten 8 out of the 20 needed even though I got the building the first day of the event week and had Carter grinding it out the whole time, too. At this rate, I’ll have to spend clams to get Joe.

  2. No issue but I must say that the people that create this game put little to no thought on buildings or questlines and how long tasks should take and what their rewards should be.

As “buggy” as that one event was (I think it was the wild west), that was fun and the mini-games to get event currency were at least intriguing and a bit challenging.

I’m just tired of the same 4 or 5 same type of Events rotated with different buildings. I wish they would give us a break between events and mini- events. Like a week or so just to relax. (Maybe that is just me but its becoming such a grind – I don’t even read the questlines anymore b/c I’m just bored and this has become a mind numbing grind)

    I apologies for the rant!

    Example:
Monster Family Main Questline: Grave Mobber (Part 3) Collect 10 Antivirus – there are no freemium characters that drop antivirus only via trade in. In addition antivirus’ are useless as they are used to beat Mutant Human Rupert in Phase 2 and not need at ALL in Phase 3. – I messaged them about this and their first reply was basically to recite the FAQs. When I told them they missed the point of my message, they told me that they would “inform the developers”

Useless buildings – buildings that drop event currency as the final building in Phase 3. What for? Its not like we can use this currency for anything. There also used to be 5 buildings (why did they reduce it to 4? were the events too hard? the 5th building at the end of phase 3 used to have a special character or something if you got to it)

Items – Need 20 Lightning rods which are “rare” (40-60%) drops and have 1 building (4hr drop 2) and 1 character (8hr drop 1) while Needing 23 Fangs which are an “uncommon” (60-80%) drop and have 2 buildings (4hrs dropping 2) and have 2 characters (8hr drop 1). You have a you have a chance of 40-60% chance of 5 every 8 hrs for lightning rods, and a 60-80% chance of 10 every 8 hrs for fangs which should occur more often. This seems a bit backwards to me.

Item drops – so a 4 hour building usually drops 2x the items (unless indicated, and sometimes its not even indicated on the visuals) but a character with a 8 hour task only drops 1? I get that you need to use event currency to get buildings. But there were also cases where on the same item there was a character with a 4hr task dropping 1, and another character with an 8hr task and drops 1 as well. How is that reasonable?

Item drops – it seems likely they intentionally TANK rare drops for a few days during the event and then make them more common drops towards the end of the event.

Season Ticket – I wish it was a bit longer (i’m usually done mid-way through phase 2) and that the characters available in it actually helped in the Event. 99% of the time the characters just do nothing or by the time you get them the event item they drop is no longer needed.
