Now that Bonnie drops nets needed to defeat the goat (4 hour task) I was able to fast forward and collect enough to defeat him and unlock quagmire who’s now on the final 10 hour task.

Anyone else randomly have Bonnie go from newspapers to launchers and Seamus suddenly dropping newspapers? Would have been nice had it been that way from the get-go so I wouldn’t have had to spend 32 clams to unlock Aquarius Quagmire…

I only had Scorpio Stewie, so I currently am short 19 swim fins. Already used up all my Net Launchers, so at best, I can expect to be able to obtain 1 more Swim Fin before the end of the event. FWIW, I only managed to collect 8 Net Launchers in total, so Aquarius Quagmire was never within reach anyway.

I’ve given up. I only have 7 net launchers and there’s no way I will earn enough drops to defeat the goat. Just going to hang out and send all to QHS until the next event.

Just got Aquarius Quagmire and started him on his 10(!) hour questline task. It was only possible with buying the season pass and getting Gemini Chris. Even with that, only got the last netlauncher needed to run a full streak on the goat with less than 24 hours left in the event.

I’ve no way of getting enough launchers for quagmire, only halfway. Yet again, bad planning on the last week, so only one character gives you what you need.

Still got 19 Swim Fina left. Only having Scorpio Stewie to get items to Bribe the Brian Damanged Sea Horse is ridiculous, especially when Stewie doesn’t drop Always. I definitely won’t finish, and get Aquarius Quagmire

At this point I just need one more net launcher so I can fully defeat the sea goat. I have both Stewie and Gemini Chris collecting. I can’t imagine where people are that only have Stewie collecting by himself.
They did drop a buy a character/get event items promotion for a little while, but in my game it was for Mayor West and horoscopes. I would have got him if it would have been for net launchers.

Not even halfway on getting enough launchers from Scorpio Stewie from his uncommon drop to defeat the Goat. No way I’ll have enough fins to finish quagmire. I’m not bothering with the event. Only trying for quagmire.

As of 4/4 @ 8am, 0/27 on Fins, 11/12 on Swimsuits, 14/17 on Undies.
Swimsuits and Undies I can see me getting in the next 2 days but Crossbow drops are going to kill it – I only have 8, which is no where near enough to fight the Goat thing to a high enough level get the required amount of Swim Fins.
I don’t know anymore if it’s just constant bad planning from JamCity the way these events play out in this last week, or if they intentionally create a bottleneck in an attempt play on insecurities of some players thinking they’ll miss out on something and forcing them to spend clams or real money!

Event timer is showing about 2hrs before event ends.
I have 0/27 fins, and 16 out of the 25 launchers needed to clear goat level 5.
Stewie and Bonnie are mid-task and won’t be complete by the scheduled event end time.
If I were to fight the goat now I’d use up all 16 launchers to clear Level 4 and only earn 15/27 fins.
Seems then that Aquarius Quagmire is another Final Week event character I, and many others, have missed out on due to JamCity’s terrible event planning/format.

I gave up on last character no way to get enough launchers since I finally got one to take out sea goat and not wasting clams.

Just unlocked Aquarius Quagmire and sent him on hea 10 hour task. I used the season pass to get gemini Chris, which helped with the nets for quagmire. Used FF to get the underwear. Should be done tomorrow then can concentrate on finishing of tasks and tidying up.
