Hello There Clammers!

Lately the tensions been a bit high around here and frustrations about TQFS are mounting.  I know the game can be a bit frustrating (and downright aggravating) at times, but it’s important to remember…It’s a game and games are supposed to be fun.  So with that in mind Bunny and I decided to bring back some fun around here…and nothing says fun more than giving away FREE STUFF!

With all the talk about this (and past) events, and with so many varying opinions we thought it would be fun to see how YOU would create an event for TQFS!  And that’s what this contest is all about…well that and free stuff!

Quahog Mob Walkthroughs: Week 3

Hello There Clammers!

Quahog has gone gangster and brought us an offer we can’t refuse!  As Don Corleone has decided to setup shop for his counterfeit cookie operation right in Quahog…and he’s enlisted Peter’s help!

During the third week of the Quahog Mob Event you’ll unlock Mr. Washee Washee, hire Evil Showgirls to take down the Takanawa Estate, beat up on some bike riding cookie couriers..and collect lots and lots of cookies!  Of course there will be questlines to help along the way.  Completing the questlines will help you earn more cookies and mob rep (which will help you unlock cool prizes!)!Showgirl and Samurai

Mobsters Week 3 Is Live

UPDATE 6-19 715PM EST BUNNY: Upgrade Mansion Stuck: This is what we saw in our games…

Cookie Crumbles Part 8– (Completed for Task and Geronimo’s)
Have the Fatfather Fire Tommy Gun- 8hrs, Earns 25 Gurl Scout Cookie and 5 Fedora Mob Rep 1
Place Geronimo’s Place– Earned by clearing the Casino 3 time

Cookie Crumbles Part 8– (Pending)
Upgrade to the Fatfather’s Lavish Mansion

Game HAS to say it is Version 1.9.5 in the App Market (Android, Apple, etc).
Once that was all complete… the Mansion showed the Upgrade Icon… You tapped the Icon… it completed Part 8… new content progressed.

We are seeing many reports it just is not progressing for Players. There is not a reason why, but info was relayed to TinyCo. They are going to be trying to push a patch shortly to see if it will help trigger the Upgrade for those stuck, so stand by.

Force Close and if needed, restart your device too. Patch should be hitting your games.

 

UPDATE BUNNY 6/19: Bouncing by for some updates. Reported some issues to TinyCo already and here is the feedback… 

Math Books: If you update from the Casino, your Math Book drops option goes, they are working on an alternative there.

HERBERT TASK, Take A Gross Bath, will now drop Math Books (Common). 

Geronimo’s Palace: A patch was pushed to help fix this. If you got the 3 stars and did NOT get the Palace (for instance due to a crash), check your Inventory.

YOUR Name: Many will now notice you see YOUR name when in the Leaderboards. No worries. This is just to help those know they are looking at themselves. Everyone else will still only see nicknames.

Mansion Won’t Upgrade: As we noted below, to move on… you MUST update your App in the App Market. So make sure you are on 1.9.5, if not go to your App Market and Update.

 

Update: There was an issue with Cookie Crumbles questline shifting on many people.  Or having players do Part 7 over again.  This has been fixed and should be working properly.  However, TinyCo can’t re-complete it for players in mass.  So if you had the issue please write into TinyCo ASAP and let them know..

In Addition…Cookie Crumbles Pt. 7 has now changed.  It looks like you no longer need Cleveland Jr. to complete it (i.e. to upgrade to Week 3).  The task is now for Bonnie instead of Cleveland Jr.

How are my favorite mobsters doing today?  Everyone working on racking up as much Mob Rep as you can?  (amidst all the crashes..which hopefully will be ending VERY soon)  So as we finish out week 2, everyone should be earning Mob Rep at a decent rate.  So whatcha gonna do with all that Mob Rep you’re collecting?  Unlock really cool prizes of course!

While we’ve taken break in recent events from the prize chart, it’s nice to see TinyCo going back to it for the Mobster Event!  Of course it’ll take some work to unlock all of the prizes, but hey you have a month to do it!  So let’s take a look at the second “real” prize of the Mob Event…the Chainsaw Henchman…
