Hey, when the Pyramid stuff was going on, i got a task to get the golden suit for peter, it just takes me to harringtons, and it doesnt show how i can get it or anything, now that we got the 4th of july stuff and the land expansion i still have the quest, and it still only takes me to harringtons, will it stop me from progressing in the game or is there any way or getting the golden suit peter?

He’s only on iOS, so if you don’t have iOS you can’t unlock him. It might just be a glitch in your game if that’s the case. If you’d like it off your task bar, best bet is to contact TinyCo and see if they can remove it. 🙂

My XP meter has been stuck at 40 for at least 1 week without accruing anything at the end of tasks (like as if I just started level 40). Is this a glitch or have I maxed out this feature?

Send an in game message to TinyCo with all the details…ie device used, when problem stared, exact wording of the error message, etc. Only they have access to your game and will be able to help troubleshoot the problem. 🙂

Well I only downloaded it 3 weeks ago and it started on day 2 of playing so I deleted it and re downloaded it again it done it again just after a few hours so deleted it again and just downloaded it again today and logged into Facebook and it’s done the same thing.

Hmmmm, I know the 4s has problems at times playing memory intensive games like Family guy. Make sure nothing is running in the background. Hard close all other apps. Send an email to TinyCo at help@tinyco.com tell them the Facebook account used so they can look at your saved game, let them know your device brand and current iOS version, also the exact message your getting in your error pop up. Be patient…they are very good at helping out players and will do everything they can for you.

Look under the menu and account info in the game that’ll tell you what your sign in info is for the game. If it’s your device id that’s a whole different story. It depends on your device.

I can’t unlock pirates cove, it tells me ‘unable to create view controller’ it then restarts the app. please help someone I love the game and want to play it 😦

Make sure you have an account to have the game saved. Once you have (or if you already created one) uninstall the app and clear the cache. Restart your device. Reinstall FG, log back into your game. If that doesn’t clear the issue the next step is to contact TinyCo. They’ll be able to best help resolve the issue.

You first needed to unlink the game from within the “old” Facebook account. Is it “deleted” or “deactivated”? If deleted, only TinyCo can help you. Send a message from within the game.

First, a few questions…when you start the game, which game loads…new or old? Did you make an email account for the new game? Do you want to keep the old game still? Is the “new” game brand new or have you invested time in it?

The new game loads but when I try and link FB it says it will overwrite the new game with the old game. I have invested much more on the new game I just want the old game gone and to link my newer game to FB

Ok..cool…You must first go into your Facebook account and go into “settings”, find the “Apps” section and you will see the Family Guy game. Select it and then select “remove Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff”. This will unlink the old game. Now start the family guy game, go to the account info section, select “sign in as someone else”, then enter your Facebook account to link the new game. If this doesn’t work. Send a message to TinyCo through the “contact us” in game feature (located in the help & support section of the main menu) from the new game and tell them about the problem. Let us know how it works out for you. 😉

If you have an account to save your game, then try clearing the game cache and uninstalling it. Then reinstall and that should help eliminate the corrupted file. If it doesn’t the next step is to contact TinyCo and let them know. 🙂

I got a load error. It says I have not enough workers with 0 buildings and 3 blocks in saved game. I at first did not realized I had three workers going when I had only 2 workers before. I thought I had accidentally bought a third but that was not the case. I sent the error to tiny co. Along with the numbers on my load screen for both devices I play on. How long does it normally take for them to fix an issue like this. If i realized it was a glitch I would have sped up one of the workers using clams to correct the error. thanks.

Sorry to hear you’re having problems. The response time varies depending on how many problems are being reported and the nature of the problem. They do their best to respond quickly. I have dealt with them many times and got a response within 3 days on average. Have you tried hard closing the game, shutting off your device, then turning on and starting the game again? It sometimes work to clear an error message. Also, FYI, the numbers on the load screen are not your game ID number. Your game ID. is the number on the lower right corner of the “Account Info” screen. 😉

My tablet charger broke so I downloaded the game onto my phone. When I log in using google+ I see that I have all these achievements but it doesn’t load up my game.. I have logged out and back in a couple times. I messaged tinyco in the game but am waiting for a response

Here’s what you do….Play the “new” game until it gets to the point where the “main menu” icon is available. Go to the “account info” section. Select “sign in as someone else”. Select Google+’s “Sign up with Google”. Enter your old game information. You’ll get a warning screen saying your about to delete your level 1 game. Ignore the warning and push “ok”….your “old” saved game should load. 🙂

I don’t really have a question but I wanted to suggest an idea I thought would be kinda fun. I’m not able to enjoy the feature of having neighbors as I don’t have a Facebook account. I’m always curious about how other members have made their Quahog look. I thought it would be a neat idea if you guys had a section on the site where players could screenshot their towns or their favorite part of it and post it so everyone could share their towns and view how others created theirs. Let me know what you think! 😊

We were waiting for more land to unlock and the towns got bigger. Right now, most look the same. Same stuff crammed into a small space. Those players that do create unique areas show them off here and there in the comment sections already. Might I suggest you create a “fake” Facebook account (no personal information) used solely to add gaming friends. That’s what I did…..I never had an account before. Very similar to our other Addicts site, I will soon be initiating a type of “showoff” on this site too so players can let others see what they have done in their towns as far as design and style. It is a terrific resource to get some ideas of designing and to share with one another some great ideas you may have never even imagined. Keep an eye out for it on the horizon. 😉

The entire time I have been playing the game there has been a clown costume for peter in al Harrington. But as soon as the 4th of july quest started the clown costume went away. Has anyone else noticed this and do you know why it is no longer there?

The Pee Pants Peter outfit actually stopped being available after the circus weekend event, but it continued to be visible in Al Harrington’s . TinyCo just did some “coding” house cleaning. They have hinted here and there that it will return someday.

First, make sure your game has an email account set up, or Facebook/Google linked account (this keeps the game “safe” from being deleted). Second, download the game onto the new phone. Third, play the “new” game until it gets to the point where the “main menu” icon is available. Go to the “account info” section. Select “sign in as someone else”. Select facebook’s “Press to sign on!”. Enter your Facebook information. You’ll get a warning screen saying your about to delete your level 1 game. Ignore the warning and push “ok”….your “old” saved game should load. If not, contact TinyCo from within the game ASAP. 🙂

Hack talk is not allowed here. What you do with your game is your choice, HOWEVER be aware that TinyCo does read this blog. Hacking is against their gaming policy and they have made it known that they will come down hard on hackers/those with hacked games.

Here is TinyCo’s exact response when I asked if this was a glitch on behalf of another reader:
“Hey! Nope, not a glitch. We temporarily lowered the district requirements for S&M Lois during the Adventure Event, as she dropped Moon Idols. As the event has drawn to a close, her district requirement has been restored.
The good news is that players still have the outfit! Once you unlock the district requirements, they will automatically have the outfit available to use.”

I still can’t clear those bulls (and getting the whips for Lois’ outfit) despite having all of the requirements. Peter never drops it either, so that too makes me think it’s a glitch in that quest/district/whatever.
Could you tell me what I need to do before un/reinstalling so I won’t lose anything? I’d die if I had to start all over.

Your game is safe as long as you have created an email account or a Facebook/Google linked account. You’ll know it’s linked to Facebook if you have been visiting friends in the multiverse. Then uninstall/reinstall the game. It will start from the beginning…don’t freak out…just play it until you get to the point where the main menu icon appears. Select it, go to “account info” and enter your account information. If the Brian quest to remove the bulls isn’t there, there’s nothing more you can do except send emails ( help@tinyco.com ) and open another in-game ticket from the “contact us” section of the help area. Good luck….I know you will get this resolved..it just might take a little more time. Hang in there. 🙂

That’s correct, when you send your in-game message, tell them the device you use, when the problem started, the exact nature of the problem, also that you have done ALL troubleshooting measures including uninstall/reinstall. They have a smaller staff on weekends and most took the 4th of July weekend off, but Monday they should be ready to Rock-n-roll for you. Keep us up to date. Thanks 😉

Question… is unlocking Meg a requirement to get rid of the bulls? I haven’t got her yet. I do have Brian and the doctor though. And Brian seems to be the key requirement. So I don’t see why it shouldn’t work. But as Meg is from the district before the civic center, I wonder if perhaps that triggered the glitch? (the waterpark is expensive when you try and catch up with the normal game at the same time as quests like king butt and 4th of july :p).

Hey guys, I have another. question for you experts! I currently have the game on my iphone and created an account so my game will be saved. I have forgotten my password and don’t see an option to send in a forgot my password alert, other than changing my password which I need my current password to do. I messaged TinyCo about it and I had a notification pop up in the game saying they responded and ignored it at the time. Now I can’t find where to go to see the message. I checked my email and looked in the game options menu and can’t find it. I’m wanting to load my current game onto my iPad to enhance my gameplay experience. Go back into the main menu, select Help & Support, tap the “contact us” section. Their response should be there waiting for you to read. It’s a dialog thread that has been opened and will continue until your problem is solved.

What are the odds of Peter and Dr. Hartman dropping the bloodshot eye? I’ve had them doing their tasks for three times a day for weeks and they have only dropped one of the three I need to unlock Tricia Takanawa.

“Slim to none”…but seriously, it is one of the most difficult items to drop (right up there with headbands). I don’t know the exact odds, however, you are in good company. We have all been there and we all finally got our items. Just keep Peter & Dr. Hartman on task constantly (sometimes send them on a short 1 hr quest to break the pattern, that helped me). Good luck….it feels great once you get the last eye. 🙂

I got no bloodshot eyes the entire time of the Moon event and I had Hartman going 2-3 times a day for that. I had been trying for weeks before the event with no luck.
After he event, I got back-to-back eyes with Peter and then finally got the third a couple days later.
Now I’m wondering when I get to unlock Stewie? I’m done with Tricia’s and Anime Peter’s quetlines.

Is there any way to unlink a Facebook account from my Family Guy account and link a new one to it? The problem is, I created a new FB account so I can add random people in the game, but my Family Guy game is already accidentally linked to my real Facebook. I don’t want to start over my game with a new account, just switch which FB account is associated with it. I can’t find any options to do this in settings.

Contact TinyCo..they might first send a generic response directing you to read the “How do I switch between Facebook accounts” section of the “account help” area. That help section is for those trying to switch between two stored games. Let them know you have just ONE saved game and you need it “unlinked” so you can re-link it to a new Facebook account. 🙂

Here is some more information…try this first…..go to Facebook and open the account you want to unlink from the Family Guy game. Go into the main settings area and select “settings”. Look for a topic called “Apps”. Open this and you should see the icon of Peter and the FG:TQFS title. Select it…now look for the button that says “Remove Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff”. This should unlink your account. Hard close the game (if you haven’t already and go to the account info section of the main menu). Select “sign in as someone else”, select the Facebook sign in option and enter the new face book account.

That is indeed weird. Maybe they have gotten bored, also waiting for a new district and are just doing their own thing..lol But, seriously, I would wait until each is done with their current task. Send them on new task, jot down a little note what task you assigned and then check on them later. If they are swapping tasks…contact TinyCo immediately.

I have two questions, they’re just simple out of curiosity questions though 😇. Firstly, I notice on the “FaceSpace” page under the characters you buy section I see Jake Tucker, the brain damaged horse (purchased those two), then the silhouettes for Consuela and Buzz Killington. After those I see a ? I was curious if this means there will be another character available for purchase by clams? Last question is I have unlocked Connie D’amico (not sure if I spelled that right) and I went to look at her FaceSpace and all she has is saying she attended the emergency meeting. Just wondering since she’s the “popular high school kid” why her FaceSpace wouldn’t be themed towards that? I.e. “selfies” and posts with lots of likes. Sorry for the silly questions, I really like the attention to detail in the game and enjoy checking it out 😊 Thanks!

I assume you have downloaded the game to the new phone. Play the game until you can select the “main menu”, tap it, select account info, select “sign in as someone else” then enter your Facebook info…it will warn you that you will lose your “level 1” game, ignore the warning and tap “ok”. Your old saved game should load….let me know if you run into problems.

What exactly are those requirements? Because I only need the whips and Peter nevers seems to drop any after attracting new customers. I think it’s tied in with my glitch that I can’t get rid of the bulls (who would also drop whips)
