Hello There Clammers!
Looks like TinyCo decided to drop another late night update into our laps. This time it’s a premium content update. Yes that’s right…your game update with only PREMIUM items.
The good news…they’re all buildings & they drop items to help you earn Cleveland faster. The Bad news…they’re all PREMIUM.
As always, for those who like to discover the details for themselves spoilers posted below the fold. So warning spoilers ahead.. 
Chaste Camel– 75 Clams. Drops Canteens.
Ricky’s Cantina– 150 Clams. Drops Inner Tubes
Hanging Gardens of Babylon– 175 Clams. Drops Bathtubes.
And that’s it. An update 4 days into the event that contains…all premium items. At least it’s a way to earn the items to unlock Cleveland…although you have to spend cash to do it…
Anyone else getting a little frustrated with the premium to freemium ratio? Don’t get me wrong…we literally drop hundreds on this game every month just to run this blog, and I’m all for supporting a great game…but come on. At least one of the new buildings should be Freemium..
What do YOU think of the three new buildings? What are your thoughts on the freemium to premium ratio in this game? Do you mind spending clams occasionally? Are you frustrated like me (have no problem spending clams, but at some point enough is enough on the cash grab)? Sound off in the comments below, you know we LOVE hearing from you!

It does suck having to spend clams but they have to make money to support themselves as well, nothing is ever really “free” they didn’t make the app just so people could have fun they made it so they could profit and feed their families

Hi guys just asking is anybody having problems with the game loading, part way through unlocking the thriller extra and the game will not now cone on at all starts shows the load screen the stops its been 2 days now HELP

So we use their own antics in return to gain what we want! Here’s my idea: We purchase a building with our cash. Yeah, they very well may be expensive. This is our lust for the freemium! However, every event is inevitably different. We love that. And Family Guy drops items right? Here’s the premium buttscratcher to think with! How about during the events, we spend our hard earned real money on tastey delicious clams, in order to allow these amazing, limited time, special buildings to drop items during the event, and we would for them to actively drop items in other relative actions and events too. So, what do you think?

I just think they are offering way too many Premium items, so us freemium players won’t be able to get everything done unless we drop some cash. At least in TSTO, there’s always ways to win cool stuff and there’s freemium and CHEAPER premium buys…some of these items will set you back like, $40! C’mon, TinyCo…we love to play, but give us a sale on the clams or something then! Way pricey!

Will the special actions for collecting things for a adventure peter and Cleveland (flirt with pool boy etc.) disappear at the end of the event???

The tasks are new (permanent) task so i think they’ll still be around after the event. The items with the circus event stopped because you could only get the items from tapping clowns (which disappeared)

Guh… I easily obtained the 5 bathtubs but the inner tubes are coming slow for me as well. Still just 10 collected so far with Chris and Quagmire farming full time. I even have the 3000 idols at this point. At this rate it’ll be another week at least before I get Cleveland!
Given that there are still 4 more journal entries I hope by the time I get him I still have enough time to complete the event…

Patience is a virtue when it comes to these items. After complaining about the tubs 16 hours ago I scored two in a row. Just 2 left now. Finished the innertubes & now have goth Chris rocking out for double-the-bubble butts.

Is it just me or has anyone else seemed to be getting less item drops from character tasks after adventure Peter was created? I only have 6 inertubes currently and have sent quagmire and Chris and 4 straight tasks each without one single inertubes!!

i dont mind the premium buildings. All 6 of them are to help people get Cleaveland/peter faster and thats the reward for spending money.
If all of them were just standard decorations I’d be wondering why but for example on tsto events they normally have all their item boosters for doughnuts too (like easter, 3 decorations were normal cash, the rest were doughnuts). I’m hoping we’ll see some non premium buildings/decorations after the pyramid opens it will probably be event cash buildings which is fine too.
Also with the item thing, tinyco keep explaing that they are looking for something to change so players cant be unlucy forever, but the random collecting is a vital point in the game and one they like to use for longetivity.+they love seeing how excited people get (on facebook) when they get the headband/eye/shell.
Not sure why but my theory on what will come out of the pyramid is random spawning enemies (like mummies) we have to click on. TinyCo seems to love that. Clowns, bulls, toddlers etc.

Im not that impressed with the new update tbh, since it dropped i havent had a single bathtub and only 4 more inner tubes, and this is with sending bonnie on constant 8 hour tasks and both chris and quagmire going for inner tubes all day. Getting cleveland was hard enough already, and as a freemium player i feel like im being forced to buy rickys cantina just to progress through the event 😦

Is anyone else as frustrated as me with the tub drop rate? I got one right off the rip with Bonnie days ago & haven’t seen one since even tho adventure Peter is now on the task too. It’s not even an epic drop rate supposedly. GRRRR!

Does anyone know if these “premium” items such as Ricky’s Cantina and the Hanging Gardens were ever featured in an episode? Am also curious if the whole pyramid story may be something that has to do with am upcoming episode due to the return of Cleveland.

The show itself is in Summer hiatus so no new episodes until the fall. It could be in an episode in 3 months, but I don’t think that’s likely.

So i started thinking to myself there might be some clues somewhere about whats up with the pyramid and what will be revealed when the countdown stops. Clicking on the pyramid if you open the last tab “what is the true story behind the pyramind” you will notice there are egyptian hieroglyphic symbols and it occured to me they are strangely spaced almost like words. So I found this list of translations for the glyphs : https://ancientegyptsteckbeck.wikispaces.com/Hieroglyphics+-+Alandra and guess what. They do make a sentence. Its spells out “I like big butts” a lyric from baby got back from the 90s. This made sense because of the first action you need to perform once you unlock Cleveland (I wont give it away for those who havent unlocked him yet).

So its still not obvious what the clues are pointing to with the pyramid but I have a few theories. Either as the song is sung by Stewie it could be somehow connected to him being revealed in the game (would tie in with the Stewie Sphinx being an award too) or it could be Loretta (big butts reference 😄) as a new character or it could even be a feral Peter reference or finally might have something to do with all the characters from other shows which appeared in that episode.
anyway thought I’d share what I found out and see if anyone else has picked up clues too ?

There were a few of us who posted the “I like big butts” translation of the hieroglyphs at the beginning of the event. I can’t seem to find my post but I know I saw at least one other person who did the translation.

I’m about done with this game, was excited about it but every single “event” is a total cash grab by TinyCo. I don’t mind occasional cash shop purchases in the many games I play, but I sort of expect to get something for my real currency expenditure. In fgtqfs, buying premium character gets you – that character. No bonus, no higher chance at whatever widget you’re trying to collect… I mean really, I’ve sent poor Bonnie on hot tub tasks every 8 hours for days and no tubs? Then Tc offers me a premium building to get them? Where exactly would I put the bldg anyway, most Quahogs are jammed packed as it is. How about you fix the clunky UI and edit menus, raise the character levels, give us Stewie already, and then we’ll talk.

I play this game constantly, all day actually lol
doing 1-4 hour actions during the day and the longer ones at night or while at work. I haven’t been playing very long and am a level 24. Recently, I have just got to the last district and its taking 2+ days to start asian town. it would cost 200+ clams to finish. I’m not trying to spend money on this game just yet, but would love to be able to have a new story line to do every day instead of just doing auctions for days hoping to get the right item in order to unlock characters and earn enough money. Dont get me wrong, I love this game but I would definately play it more if it went by a little faster

It’s been a week now every 6hrs I keep sending Peter and the doc on tasks for these damn elusive eyeballs and still no luck all I need is 2 eyeballs to unlock Asian Peter f#€?!%¥ $ucks

My husband’s in the same boat. I have NO idea how I got lucky in my game (I collected them a week after Asiantown hit). Don’t worry…a What the Hell?! will be up for this week’s venting in the morning.

I got anime peter within a week of him being available. However since getting mermaid peter as an option i have only JUST received the 3rd seashell. I had lois cooling down, but now she’s in S&M mode (the whips took about 3 days…) until the event finishes. I hope quagmire likes his mace. Tubs are a bugger. Tubes are not, they’re moving along OK, i average 4 per day which is about right for a rare item. Not complaining about those. Tubs there is no average, they’re too infrequent. I received 2 in 1 day, but nothing for the rest of the time.

Is there a difference in the bathtub drop rate for adventure peters two tasks, grow beard and the moon idols one? They look identical which seems odd to have two identical tasks like that.

I do that in my town…just to mix it up but haven’t noticed a faster drop.

Very frustrated. Also I see that they now say that they ALWAYS drop so I was going to actually buy something, but it’s not letting me. It has timed out twice and crashed once trying to spend real money. UGH. If I didn’t like FG so much, and the animations weren’t so great, I’d stop playing….and I still might. This is way more of a pain in the butt (idol) than it’s worth.

In the “help” section in game it says cleveland will be available to unlock forever. As long as you repaired the museum that is. So take your time 🙂

I really enjoy the game and this update but it is frustrating doing the same tasks over and over. I also think they could do a better job with idol drops. I play pretty frequently but it still seems to take forever to build up my idol count. 3000 for Cleveland is taking forever. Not sure how I will get enough for monkey statue afterwards.

The premium stuff is a bit frustrating at times, but despite being tempted have so far avoided needing to spend any real cash and have managed to get the full bag of characters and costumes available to date for free (I don’t have PeePee though). I only have Cleveland to release now (S&M Lois finally arrived yesterday!!!!). My point is that up to now you will eventually get there for free, but you will have to persevere and be a bit patient. Instant gratification does not appear to be the point of this game unless you don’t mind spending cash. For me the drip drip of stuff is what is keeping the enjoyment alive. However those inner tubes are proving to be a killer and at current progress it will be at least another fortnight before I have enough. I dread to think how long Stewie will take once he appears.

Getting frustrated. I had the museum 1 day before my husband and he has all his tubs. I still can’t get them. Bonnie has not given me any. Peter so far nada. 3 ways, every 8 hours for days. There were 4 of us playing in my house. 2 have about given up. They can’t even get eyeballs, never mind the Cleveland things. Good thing my other game has a fun update going on now. Got nothing to do in this one.

Along similar lines, before the KotFM opened I was sitting on one eyeball for anime peter and two whips for S&M Lois. Hartman was going non-stop for the last eyeball and I have only been relying on the fire house for the Lois Whips. In the last few days I have gotten both whips from the fire house, but no eyeballs. On the plus side Lois can now start earning moons for me full time.

I’ve been frantic with these idol grabs too. No clam purchase yet but on the fence. Looking forward to the pyramid open. Cleveland is almost mine without extra purchases…damn fornicating giraffes and fat hula hoops! At night I set mermaid peter and Seamus fishing then joe and Bonnie lap dance for extra idols. Added note peter doing surfing bird pays more idol to time ratio than anything else. Not gonna lie 30 min bird dance for 30 idols then gave it a rest. Fhew addiction.

I too am most frustrated at how long it takes to unlock players and costumes. I play multiple times a day, from day 1, and always focus players on tasks that have items attached, but I have yet to get the items required for mermaid and animae peter. I have been missing one seashell for weeks, so I even used some of the clams I earned to get the lobster shack, and after a week, still nothing!
I was enjoying how often they gave you free clams, but after seeing the prices of the premium items, I can see why they are giving so many out, 25 here and there still isn’t enough to purchase anything decent.

I’ve complete the canteen, 17/25 tubes and 3/5 tubs. Has anybody released Cleveland yet without speeding any part of the event up yet and totally freemium (no idol drop stores etc)

I don’t mind paying for a game, but the developers from tiny co are just too greedy.
You can spend 100 dollars on this game and still not have everything, and that’s just insane especially for a mobile game.
I can make an entire list with all their sneaky ways to pull money out of you, but I’m not going to do that because you all know that already. I played freemium untill district 6 and than I got really frustrated because I had spent a week trying to get those damn headbands for rambo lois. Anyway what I’m trying too say is I really like family guy but this game is just one big cash grab. I hope my english isn’t too bad because it isn’t my native language.

Something weird happened when i imported all my images from my phone. It somehow imported extra pics from the update and the game, like an italian peter costume, and it showed handsome peter and peter with a hawk.
For the moon update it showed some pics too, but i don’t know if i should say things here or not
