All week we field your comments about your frustrations in the game (those damn eyeballs!) and we wanted to give you (and us) a fun new way for you to voice your frustrations and get it all off of your chest. -Getting REALLY annoyed that the last (or first) Eyeball won’t drop?
-Game crash right as you collected that last Headband and then it disappeared?

Here’s my What the Hell?! For this week:
-Midnight update drops…on a Friday no less…what the hell?!!
-Those frakkin bathtubs for Cleveland! I know the man loves his baths but COME ON…Bonnie can only abuse the Jacuzzi just so many times….what the hell?!!
-And finally…we’re having yardwork done at our house and it requires a driveway full of fill dirt. Landscaper promised me on Monday the dirt would be gone by Tuesday..it’s now Friday and after TWO rainstorms I now have a mud pit in my driveway! Seriously…WHAT THE HELL?!!

The Journal entries change as you progress through the story line. As another questline is released, another entry will be inserted. The event is still ongoing and they seem to release new stuff each week. So, just wait. 😉

Two days late for this thread, but I’ve had Cleveland unlocked for like 4 days now and own both the Hanging Gardens and the Cantina. So, why must I still look at the advertisement for these buildings telling me to “Unlock Cleveland Faster” every darn time I log-on? What the Hell?
Also: screw having to do the 10 min Cleveland task OVER & OVER & OVER & OVER & OVER & OVER & OVER just to get him to his level 4 1-hour task (4 days!). Now, maybe two more days of that before he’s at level 5 and I can do the 80s dance to clear those two tasks. What the Hell?

I have been trying to unlcok s m lois for ages, I have all of the other items but no whips. I have the fire station, I have cleared all the cows, I have sent peter on the task that earns them loads of times but am still not getting a single whip. I have mow given up on sending pwter to get whips and use him for hugher golden butt payouts

This may be a bit late to the game so to speak – I had my WHAT THE HELL?!?! moment this morning. At the beginning of the update I purchased clams ($9.99) to buy the shrines and a few other items and just yesterday I purchased clams (another $9.99) to buy Ricky’s Cantina and a few more items and just this morning they’re offering 4,000 moon idols for $9.99 in clams. Soooooo…. Lemme get this straight – I purchased over $20.00 in clams since the update but because I didn’t buy them on two specific days I don’t get any kind of reward?! That’s really messed up man. I think this has been officially the first time I’ve had any kind of real frustrations with the game. It didn’t even bother me this much when I had to spend clams to get Hobo Peter!
But, I’ve sent my email and am waiting for a response. I’ll let you know what happens.

I had a what the hell moment on my commute this morning. I’ve been schlepping my tablet to work for some extra butt mining this week, and this morning on the bus Adventure Peter finally unlocked. So I’m looking at his task list, and get that Bangles “Walk Like and Egyptian” song in my head for a minute. Make it out to the burbs, figure I’ll stop by Dunkin’s for an iced coffee which I do maybe twice a month. And this never ever happens at this place, but there was a cop in the donut shop, like in the song. And then the lady behind the counter said it’s National Doughnut Day and I get a free donut, which — I mean I don’t even play The Simpsons Tapped Out — but, still, that was pretty weird. 0_o

I liked this event when it arrived. It’s not fared so well compared against the TSTO Stonecutter event, though. It’s the same reasons, again:
– I still need 15 more Inner Tubes. I’ve had the two characters trying non-stop for the last two days, and gotten nothing from about 16 attempts
– Chris also has a plot quest to go through at the same time as I’m trying to get Inner Tubes. Should I do those quests, or concentrate on Cleveland? I’ve no idea which is the better choice
More generally:
– Aside from opening up extra character actions, what’s the point in character levels? I thought if they got maxed out, there might be a bonus / better odds of dropping items / something cool, but nothing.
– What’s the point in adding friends? There’s a small chance of dropping a clam when you visit them, but otherwise it’s just cash. There’s no way to know if your friends have visited you, either. You can only visit 20 friends in a day, it seems, no matter how many you have.
I’m starting find item-hunting frustrating, especially when I get pop-ups telling me I can spend 150 clams on a building guaranteed to drop them every time.

Everyone complains about eyes, but I’ve had no trouble scoring them. I’ve had enough eyes for Anime Peter for 2 weeks now. It’s those HEADBANDS. They’re not even supposed to be as rare as eyeballs! I built an arcade and have had Lois doing Tai Jitsu for a week straight now. I’m finally down to needing only one more. I’ve actually scored more bathtubs than headbands over the last week…

Game crashes constantly . . . WTH?
Can’t visit friends . . . WTH?
Get something good and the game crashes and it is gone . .WTH?
Been playing non stop and still need 14 snakes, 4 bathtubs and 2800 idols for Cleveland . . .WTH?
And most important, someone vandalized our travel trailer and now we have to pay the deductible to get it fixed. About 25 trailers stored in the same place and ours was one of 3 vandalized . . .WTH?

Completed the last of the costumes during the last few days (S&M Lois, Rambo Lois, Midlife Crisis Lois, Anime Peter, Adventure Peter), so I can’t really complain. Still need a bathtub and some inner tubes for Cleveland, but I’m getting there. The only thing I am not happy with is the serious amount of clams they are starting to ask of you. The little tents and shrines were overpriced already, but I bought them without much thinking. Kind of regret it now, but nothing to be done about it. Now they throw in even more overpriced buildings to help get Cleveland – that’s the only wth from me, because had they given us the choice from the start, I probably would have spent my clams differently. And even though they are looking really cool, I now refuse to buy those additional buildings, just on principle.

Gave in and bought Ricky’s Cantina for 150 clams to get some Inner Tubes and the waterfall isn’t even animated! WTH!!!!!

1. Don’t like that the percentages for drop don’t seem quite accurate to their actual drop rate.
2. Why did they make cleeveland and adventure peter need so many items to get done?
3. I’m good on bathtubs, but my rate of getting giraffe is much less than the 40% rate given. If I do the task 10 times, I should get 4 of them, not 1!

Day 6 3 characters with no tubs. Day 3 no inner tubes. I have put all I can on 24 hours and have given up. My husband’s game gets them every time. First 5 time from museum had his tubs. Makes no sense to have Peter have TWO ways of getting tubs. I swear they changed the drop rates after they put out the two premiums. I have put real money in the game but won’t for this since I am frustrated. If the pyramid opening needs Cleveland or is another money grab, I will give up.

Yesterday I sent chris and quagmire to do the inner tube quests at 6 am, 10 am, 2 pm, 6pm, and 10 pm…so 10 total times and I got 1 inner tube! What the hell!!?!?!

you haven’t heard. The management from EA switched spots with Tiny co. That would be the only explanation for the pathetic excuse for support from TC right now and the greatness that EA has brought upon us in the latest TSTO update.
If that theory is not true then all I can say is WHAT THE HELL !!!
hang in there, they should answer you shortly…did you try and send them a support message from within the game or from the internet. When I contacted them through the internet, they out right ignored me for 2 days. when I sent them a support request from within the game I got a quick response (didn’t say it was a good response) a response none the less.

I seem to have misplaced about a 1000 of the flying butts. I didn’t buy anything with them, they’ve just disappeared. What the hell? Haven’t gotten any bathtubs for Cleveland yet either. I did finally get my Anime Peter though and unlocked Tricia. That was nice, even with the hell it gave me before. I swear I had all of the bandanas collected, but for some reason they went back to zero. What the actual hell was that about?

Spent the last four weeks trying to unlock S&M Lois. First week, got a whip from the firehouse and one from Hooker Peter. Been rerunning Hooker Peter, constantly unless I needed Peter for an actual mission. Unlocked Trisha last week. Running her on the mother task constantly since then. Got the third whip from the firehouse last night. Normally, I wouldn’t care, but S&M Lois gets double moon idols. Never bought clams, but I’d consider using a few of my hard earned ones, except the last whip would cost 250! WTH!

I make a long comment (through my phone mind you) about the judgment of fgaddicts writers when choosing what to cover first about the event and it doesn’t get put through! WTH!
Giraffes are disabling my idol earning abilities! WTH!
The pyramid is close to opening and there’s been not even a hint dropped about it! WTH! (my guess is clearable mummies.)

The reason why we’re limited what we post/don’t post about this update is because….
there’s WAY to much info about it not known yet. No one knows what’s going to happen when the pyramid opens. We can’d do a counter calendar because there’s prizes we don’t know the values for (the ones in ?). Makes it really hard to write detailed posts about what’s going on in the game when TinyCo hides information. There’s making things fun…and there’s making it difficult to know what’s going on. The last prize could cost 1million moon idols for all we know…they really should have at least shown the values. Hopefully once the pyramid opens it’ll appear.
On top of that they keep making changes to the event on the fly…so every time we get a handle on what’s happening they change something. Just a case of frustration…

WTH not a single eyeball drops, I have been trying for 3 weeks and none has drop using peter and the doctor. also I got very annoyed trying to move items on the map, buildings or decorations.

Everyone who is having this non eyeball drop thing should let tiny co know that this is UNREAL. I am sure you know already but in the game under the menu / help and support / contact us you can send Tiny Co messages. that is how I am communicating with them now.

Bunny and I have both told Matt from TC about it (the one who comments here sometimes) and sent them the results of the poll. The answer is always “it’s random”. There’s random & then there’s insane. At this point I feel like some people have a better chance of Shary Bobbins popping out of Dr. Hartman than an eyeball…

I gotta say, as a freemium player, I’m kinda minding this update to be rather blasé. I’ve collected everything for Cleveland except for the remaining idols and 10 inner tubes. At this point, I’m just tasking Chris and Quagmire non-stop to collect innertubes and making Peter Surf the Bird while I’m awake and Go fishing with Seamus while asleep. Everyone else is just running the most efficient task as I have time. I’m glad the Pyramid opens soon, because at this point the game is pretty dull. At least it’s something more that having Peter continually Dance the Shipoopi, I guess….
Not Exactly a What the Hell, but yeah… Not much to do beside farm idols while waiting for the inner tubes to come in. 10 to go….

– Just got an eyeball! Then, when I came back an hour later I noticed that my game didnt saved correctly.. what the hell?!! (anyone tips on how to make the game save before you shut it down? :o)

I am just like you. constantly in the game to earn enough innertubes and moon idols but it just ain’t happening. I have 12 inner tubes left to get Cleveland and the last 2 times I sent them on their quest for the tubes…guess what nothing dropped after 4 hours. just like my eyeball dilemma. wonder if tiny co shut off my drop items when investigating my eyeball issue. HHHMMMMMM !!!! I should let them know again their drop rate SUCKS !!!!! WTH !!!!

– I cant visit neighbors either since Monday. TinyCo response told me “this is a known error”. No resolution or offer to make up the $ and clams I would have gotten.
– Invite has never worked for me (so no 5 clams), even though I have collected over 20 neighbors. TinyCo recommended that I link to yet ANOTHER Facebook account – WTH.

WHAT THE HELL ?!!!! I am now on 9 days and counting sending Dr. A hole on 6 hour eyeball tasks and Peter whenever he is not doing pyramid stuff. 9 bloody days and still no eyeball to complete Anime Peter. This is utterly and completely FRUSTRATING and AGGRAVATING. I contacted Tiny Co on Day 6 to only be ignored for 2 days. Finally on Day 8 I used the in game contact feature and they responded….”That’s the game and how it works. We will inform the team about the drop rate”. SERIOUSLY….I responded back to them that 9 DAYS and counting is NOT ACCEPTABLE. I am going to keep contacting them after every 6 hour useless task so they can get as frustrated as I am and see what I am going to through to get that bloody item. I am on the verge of quitting this game just due to that. 9 frekkin days…..Come on Tiny Co….Seriously….. AAAAAAAHHHHHH !!!!!!!

Oh ya, I more thing I still have 12 damn items left to get Cleveland plus still need 1300 moon idols as well. the rate of their drop algorithm puts us past the time the event will end.

just an update. Peter has finally 10 days later popped an eyeball 🙂 LOL !!! I now have Anime Peter…after 4 days of letting Tiny Co know about this ridiculous drop rate…wonder if they made any tweaks in last nights update from the app store….anyway 4 hours to go and I unlock Tricia now…WOOHOO !!!! BTW 9 inner tubes left and 800 Clams left to get Cleveland.
