Hello There Clammers!
The Kingdom of the Full Moon has brought Cleveland back to Quahog! Of course to enjoy all Cleveland Brown has to offer in TQFS first you have to unlock him, which is sometimes easier said than done! So let’s take a closer look at the Mustache Man who calls things ‘Nasty’….
Cleveland arrives in our Quahogs via the Kingdom of the Full Moon Event. He comes with the Museum, which you purchase for 200 Moon Idols. Once you’ve purchased the Museum Cleveland will remain in your Quahog forever…whether you unlock him or not. But hopefully you’ll help him get out of the quicksand…otherwise that’s just not cool.
To Unlock Cleveland A LOT of Stuff AND A LOT of Patience is required. Fortunately there are no Epic items, but there is an extra rare item you’ll have to collect. Here’s what you’ll need to unlock Cleveland:
40 Canteens
25 Inner Tubes
5 Bathtubs
3000 Moon Idols
1 Whip
-You can earn the Canteens by sending Bruce & Jerome on 1 hour tasks. They are uncommon, so they won’t drop every time. However, if you purchase the Chaste Camel for 75 Clams Canteens will drop from it guaranteed every 2hrs.
-You can earn the Inner Tubes by sending Chris and Quagmire on their 4 hour tasks. They are rare, so they’ll fall even less than the Canteens. So it will take some time to collect all. However, if you purchase Ricky’s Cantina for 150 Clams Inner tubes will drop from it guaranteed every 4hrs.
-You can earn the Bathtubs by sending Bonnie and Adventure Peter on their 8hr tasks. The Bathtub is Extra Rare, so the drop rate is similar to the Headband. However, you can also earn it from the Museum. Also, if you purchase the Hanging Gardens of Babylon the Bathtubs will drop from it guaranteed every 8hrs.
–Moon Idols are earned by completing tasks for Characters from Districts 1 and 2 (Peter, Bonnie, Chris, Quagmire, Jerome & Bruce) as well as S & M Lois and from various items in the event. You’ll need 3,000 Moon idols to Unlock Cleveland. Keep in mind once you unlock him, you’ll lose those 3,000 idols.
–Whip It is done by Adventure Peter. You will need to unlock Adventure Peter PRIOR to getting Cleveland. Adventure Peter is a Limited-Time skin and the opportunity to earn him will leave with the event. So make sure you unlock him early enough in the event so that you can still get Cleveland, even if the Event ends.
So now that we know HOW to unlock Cleveland, let’s take a look at his tasks once he’s unlocked:

As you can see he’s got a fairly decent amount of tasks, and a great range of task times. HOWEVER, note that the ONLY task that’s unlocked at Level 1 is his 10 minute 90’s Club Dance task. You will need to repeat this task many, many, many, MANY times over in order to unlock a level 2 task. Fortunately, it’s only 10 minutes, but it can still get repetitive and annoying.
Once you’ve unlocked Cleveland he’ll continue part of the Last Night, At the Museum with Adventure Peter. So you will need to Level him up to at least Level 3 (Bath Time) to complete that questline.
So now you have the details on unlocking Cleveland Brown and you can let the Dance Party begin in your Quahog!

I was so close to unlocking Cleveland only two bath tubs !! And I woke up this morning and hes gone !! Seriously all that hard work and hes just gone !! Will he come back ?! Will all the stuff I earned ill have to earn again ?? Someone help 😦 !!!!

Spoke to TinyCo, they are aware of this “locking” glitch. They are working on it and hopefully it will be included in the next patch fix update. 🙂

Tubs are impossible to get in my game… Only have one so far and have been sendin Bonnie and Peter on 8 hour tasks 2 to 3 times a day what seems foreeeeeeverrrrrrr… And a day. I want that happy mustache face!

I finally unlocked him last night AND unlocked my last Lois costume, so I’m actually done unlocking things for now! Almost cleared my last chunk of land, too. Now I can focus on clearing quests and accumulating idols.

Am I the only one who hasn’t unlocked Cleveland?! Only 3 tubs to go…just got my second one yesterday so I am guessing another couple weeks before I get him. Which means…pointless event. And to think I thought everyone else was crazy for complaining about this game 😠

I got Cleveland this morning after no clams or money spent. I just really feel like TinyCo miscalculated a lot of the timing involving Cleveland. Getting 25 giraffe innertubes was out of proportion with the difficulty of the other items, When the pyramid unlocked 2 days ago, it immediately prompted a level 5 Cleveland task, which will take another day or two to access – that just seems a bit disconnected. The only way for me to level up Cleveland in a timely fashion and access the two tasks he’s been prompted to do is to grind 10 minute tasks. After 6 hours of doing this I’m not even level 3, and not everyone can grind all day. I find the structure of unlocking Cleveland to have been poorly thought out.

I got him to level 2, now doing 4hr tasks to try get level3 to unlock bathtime. You must be dedicated to do 6hrs of 10min tasks! 🙂

I’m holding off on sending quagmire on his 20 hour quest to give him and Chris one more shot to earn my last needed tube. I will know in about 40 minutes if that worked. I’m ready to get some of these quests off my task bar!

I got Cleveland yesterday without spending or speeding up, but A LOT of work. I probably played 4 times more than the average player. With this and 3 towns in TSTO I’m exhausted…😰

Unlocked Cleveland this morning with zero clams spent rushing or on related buildings. The spa was my issue. Not sure if bonny even earned one!! Peter and museum got most of them. Think peter is slightly luckier than other characters where he earns same items?
Hopefully tricia is not required for any pyramid tasks as doctor has been going on eyeball tasks 2 or 3 per day for weeks and is yet to get 1!

I’ve completed everything for Cleveland, but still need 10 inner tubes. I’m with everyone else. It seems like the last few days, these giraffes have been near impossible to get!!! What’s the deal? And it’s not like it just seems this way because that’s the last task. I only recently finished the others. When they were still out there, I noticed even then how impossible those giraffes have gotten compared to the previous week.

I spend 40″ clams to buy Cleveland, so I wouldn’t have to find any more of the last 4 inner tubes which were harder to come buy.

No worries. Got him this morning. The tubes decided to be difficult at the end with me running 4 fornicates in a row with no success. Sent chris on his and got the last one. Bathtubs were just random. Nothing for a week then 5 in 4 days

I needed like 15 tubes and three tubs…I just unlocked for 290 clams with the $9.99 deal that came with 4,000 idol butts. I was frustrated with the drop rate and I wanted to continue the quest line and not run out of time, cause I’m thinking TC was thinking he would be unlocked by pyramid open time…and it was just impossible, specially since I’m a working girl (not a prostitute, just a girl that has a job…) so I’m glad I’ve got him, and made him dance forever, and now he can finally call things nasty. 🙂

I found the Inner Tubes much more painful than the Bathtubs. I think I had all the Bathtubs when my Inner Tube count was only at 12 or so I finally unlocked Cleveland yesterday though (without using any premium buildings). Definitely takes some patience. Although I’m a bit sad that I missed Journal Entry #4 since I unlocked him after the pyramid opened so it skipped straight from #3 to #5.

I didn’t find him that difficult, i didn”t purchase any premium buildings and as of now i only need one bathtub and 4 tubes, should have him soon! I think the people that are determined to get him will have an easier time than those who aren’t focusing him…
