Hello There Butt Grabbers!
How are my favorite booty grabbing Calmmers doing this morning? Everyone grabbing as much booty as you can? Are the Mummies helping you earn idols faster? How about the double booty rewards? So whatcha gonna do with all that booty you’re grabbing at? Unlock really cool prizes that’s what!
While many items during the event will cost you a little booty (or clams), the cool thing about this event is you’ll earn prizes at various collection points along the way. AND…these prizes won’t take your booty! (Everyone could use a little extra junk in the trunk right?) So let’s take a look at the first five prizes you’ll unlock during the Kingdom of the Full Moon…
WARNING…Mild Spoilers Ahead
From what we can see so far, there are 11 total Treasures you can win. With 9 of those currently revealed in the game, and two still a mystery. Of course that’s not to say TinyCo can’t (and won’t) add more prizes later in the event, but for now that’s what is shown.
The first five prizes range in cost from 100 Moon Idols to 11,000 Moon Idols collected. Remember these are total collected (bottom right) NOT current on hand (top left, next to cash). So it’s a running total for the entire event, so even if you lose a little booty along the way you’ll still unlock the prizes when your OVERALL total reaches the unlock point.
So let’s break these down shall we?
Royal Cat Statue
Prize: First prize unlocked
Unlock Point: 100 Moon Idols Collected
Size: 3×3
Earns: $10, 5xp every 1 hour
Does it Do Anything?: Aside from earning cash and xp, no. This kitty just hangs out in your Quahog and stares at Chris while he’s in the shed.
Personal Thought: Meh, this is ok for a first prize (and at only 100 idols). Glad it’s not overwhelming in size, but honestly I have to designate an area of Quahog for it, but really it just doesn’t fit into my town very well.
Bronze Adventure Trophy
Prize: Second prize unlocked
Unlock Point: 750 Moon Idols Collected
Size: 2×3
Earns: Nada, zip, zilch
Does it Do Anything?: Not a thing. This Trophy will just sit in your Quahog and make you wanna drink…
Personal Thought: Meh, I dunno what to think about these Trophies. I get it, it marks your success in the event, but it’s one of those…’how the heck does this fit into my Quahog?’ items.
25 Clams
Prize: 3rd prize unlocked
Unlock Point: 2,000 Moon idols Collected
Details: FREE Clams…need I say more?!
Personal Thought: LOVE that they award you 25 free clams just for making it to 2,000 Booties Grabbed! Now if only real life was like that…
Stewie Sphinx
Prize: 4th prize unlocked
Unlock Point: 5,o00 Moon Idols Collected
Size: 8×6
Earns: $30, 20xp every 4 hours
Does it Do Anything?: Aside from earning cash and xp, no. This creepy Stewie is as close to the real Stewie you’re gonna get in your game for now….
Personal Thought: Meh, this one is another head scratcher. The question really is…where the heck do you put it? And the size on this is a lot bigger than the Cat, so it’s going to be harder to find room for it, especially if you haven’t unlocked all the Quahog land just yet. Still I think it would make a nice addition to an event specific area of Quahog.
Active Volcano (that’s not so active right now)
Prize: 5th prize unlocked
Unlock Point: 11,000 Moon Idols Collected
Size: 6×6
Earns: $60, 40xp every 12 hours
Does it Do Anything?: Aside from earning cash and xp, no, at one time this Volcano had a great animation that made it look like it was going off. However, since the latest Mummy glitch the Volcano’s animation is off…hopefully it’ll return soon. 🙂
Personal Thought: IMO this is the best prize of the first 5. I was really excited to earn this one, and loved how it looked in my town (even though it was a bit out of place) when it was active. I really hope they bring back the animation on it (and soon), because that’s what made it so awesome!

So there you have it. The breakdown of the first 5 Treasures you can earn during the Kingdom of the Full Moon Event.
When playing the event, an additional questline will appear called Grab That Booty, which basically awards you 50 additional Moon Idols for unlocking prizes. Here’s the first part of the quests you’ll see that correspond with these prizes:

Peter starts
Collect more Moon Idols to win the Bronze Adventure Trophy!- 750 Idols
Completed Task Earns 50 Idols and 350xp
Grab That Booty Pt. 2
Peter starts
Collect more Moon Idols to win 25 Clams!- 2000 Idols
Completed Task Earns 50 Idols and 350xp
Grab That Booty Pt. 3
Peter starts
Collect More Moon Idols to win the Stewie Sphinx– 5000 Idols
Completed Task Earns 50 Idols and 350xp

Collect More Moon idols to win the Active Volcano- 11,000 Idols
So, that’s an additional 200 idols you’ll earn on top of unlocking the prizes. Not a bad deal!

I realize this is a VERY old post, but with the new returning items event I was going through each event to see if I was missing anything. I was able to find this post of the first 5 treasures/prizes of the Full Moon event, but can not for the life of me find anything or a post about the remaining treasures. Could you either direct me to the other treasures or add a post of all the treasures in one? Thank you and have a great day!

Just figured I’d check in on the status of this, I know you said 1 week, but with all the goodies recently in the game I got side tracked. Figured now would be great before the big Star Trek event and you get swamped with all that … No rush, thanks again for all you both do here on FGA 😊

I spent 4k moon idols on the booty box lost connection ad thrle booty box opened and didnt get a reward ? What do I do to get my idols back

I can’t place the volcano for some reason. Whenever I try to place it, it says cannot place item in inventory and restarts the game. Please help.

On this I suggest basic troubleshooting (hard close, restart your game etc). If that doesn’t work your next step is to contact TinyCo. It could be a config issue directly with your game & if that’s the case they’ll have to go in and fix it.

I’m getting tons of mummies ever hour. I didn’t upgrade to the new bug fix version in the App Store, because well my game isn’t bugging out. Maybe that’s why i getting so many. Getting booty left and right!! Seriously so much booty I’m heading into the last prize now. Party pyramid is a total disappointment, just a building. The main pyramid doesn’t have a party any longer either. Just like the volcano

I agree with many of the others here. The good prizes are Cleveland and Adventure Peter. Everything else is destined for inventory.
I like the way the event plays (although I’m not a fan of the chance element in unlocking characters/skins) but the prizes themselves are underwhelming. So are the items for sale, except for the buildings which cost clams. The TSTO event that is happening concurrently has a much better collection of prizes available.
I am hoping that the coming days bring more characters, more skins, and that the premium buildings become freemium (available for coins or booty) once you no longer need them for the event questlines. If not, I think EA outshined TinyCo for the first time since the launch of TQFS.

I have already unlocked em all already as well I got a lil more then 27000 so close to getting the camel 🙂 hopefully I get to the end I work almost all day n Monday thru Saturday so I had to spend real money for clams to get a ahead but I still do the 1 hour tasks thru out the day hopefully my boss don’t catch me lol this game is goin to get me fired!?!?! :p

I’m disappointed that the buildings bought with clams to earn snakes, giraffes, etc., don’t give out Booty when they are done giving out their “prizes”. Since we’re paying actual money for those, that would be a nice touch and make them A LOT more worthwhile!

Well, the cat and sphinx certainly fit the Egyptian theme.
And the volcano IS part of ancient Egypt! NatGeo came out with an article some years ago that suggest a Mediterranean volcano wiped out a bunch of Egyptian cities around 1500 BCE. (see below)
And if you want to get Biblical (oh, I do – I do!), two of the 10 plagues are fiery hailstones and darkness – both potentially linkable to volcanoes.
So maybe Tiny C.O. has some surprise coming up? Peter as Moses?

Greg, me thinks your inner anti-religious bias is showing (you should wear a longer shirt).
Whether or not the various and sundry Bibles are based on some all-powerful being, they certainly were written to explain (well, originally spoken) in order to explain a mysterious world to the common people. So, whether or not there were 10 plagues in Egypt that forced Pharaoh to let the Jews go (I lean towards no, as there is no archaeological evidence that Egypt ever had a significant slave population), there certainly could have been fiery hailstones and darkness, etc. etc., and a large volcano could be one explanation – or G.d – your choice. (in case you miss the science there, fiery hailstones could be ejected in what is called a pyroclastic fall, darkness would be due to megatonnes of ash being blasted into the atmosphere. Don’t forget that when St. Helens went in 1980, ash fell on 11 states – and there almost certainly have been larger stratovolcanic eruptions.)
Fiction – hah, when I write fiction, I label it as such!

Well, I was going to let it pass since I come here for fun and not for petty points of contention, but since you responded to the guy above, allow me my retort to your reference to my post. If you look back at it, I said a volcano has nothing to do with an Egyptian THEME. If we do have to be pedantic (and we do, we do), what you said about a volcano in ancient Egypt may be factually true (the 1500 BCE eruption, not an eruption being some kind of partial basis of the 10 plague myth), that fact is obscure enough to not be readily identifiable with the rest of the Egyptian gimmicks we have in the event – the pyramid, mummies, cats, etc. It’s like if they had a London themed event, and gave us the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, red double decker buses and the soldiers with the big black furry hats, but then also gave us a bridge being built by women. That’s factually accurate (Waterloo Bridge) built mostly by women, but who would class that as a popular London themed visage?
So, I stand by my original point. But bow to your knowledge of obscure Egyptian facts 😀

Ok, ok – on the face of it, a volcano DOESN’T have anything to do with an Egyptian theme – unless at some point they tie it in. If they don’t, then it was a pretty ridiculous part of the event, and something they have just wasted, because they COULD have saved it for another event! (A Jimmy Buffett-type themed event?)

This is a mini-disguised-Cadventure™ as I decide whether it’s worth the effort. Sort of the back story, I guess.
• I am at Level 36
• I own all of released Quahog (one of the longest living animals on Earth)
• I have all the characters and all the skins (except pee-pee)
• I have $115,000+
• I have 15,000+ Booties to spend (Jiggity!)
• I am so far ahead on The Kingdom timeline, that I just went through about 6 or 7 tasks in 1 hour (mostly because of Whip It!)
So, other than squashing mummies, and coming back in 8 hours for Quagmire’s Old Lady – what should I do? There doesn’t seem anything worthwhile to spend $s or booties on. There are of course clam-based items, but I tend to be somewhat parsimonious when it comes to spending my hard-earned clams.
What’s a lonely Cguy to do? Guess I will go back and squash spying eyes and mysterious robed figures.

Got them all, and on the way to the next – I have about 12000 idols now, but I doubt I will make it to the end. I am a bit underwhelmed so far, they could have at least thrown in something that actually earns you more idols, like a small shrine. Basically that stuff just takes up room. No idea what I am going to do with it. Same goes for the shrines and stalls I bought as well, for now, they just don’t fit in.

I don’t like them. I like the event, it’s fun – particularly like the female mummies giving us a bandaged booby flash 😀 – but a volcano, active or otherwise, doesn’t have anything to do with an Egyptian theme. As Alissa says, the volcano, Stewie sphinx and giant cat just look completely out of place in my town. The Peter statues I don’t mind, and one of the two prizes yet to be revealed I hope will be a gold Peter statue, so I’ll use them as a permanent commemoration to the event, but I’m getting to the stage where money isn’t much of a problem so I’ll probably put the cat, sphinx and volcano into inventory permanently after the event finishes.
