Well, we’ve all made it through another “work week” (kinda, sorta, almost) and the weekend looms large up ahead. All week we field your comments about your frustrations in the game (those damn bathtubs!) and we wanted to give you (and us) a fun new way for you to voice your frustrations and get it all off of your chest. Here’s my What the Hell?! For this week:
-The crazy mummy spawn rates. First they’re slow, then they’re insane, then they’re slow again, and then they’re fast…make up your mind already! What the hell?!
-King Butt’s Jelly-Yo Shot Sarcophagi. What the hell?!
-And finally…four bags of grass seed on my lawn…yes FOUR bags and there are STILL bare spots! We seeded the crap outta that thing and STILL dirt in various places. WHAT THE HELL?!!

Family Guy Addicts 
There are no more tasks, no story, no use for premium items. WTH!!! I would quit if I have not paid real money in this game. Nothing to do!!! I feel ripped off. I hope they come up with more story lines soon, not just for a new district. WTH

Has anyone else noticed that the Open Flame Garden keeps switching back to the other orientation when you turn it??? WTH, why won’t it stay the way I want it?

I’m currently working on getting items for the anime peter costume. All I need is one eye and two headbands. I haven’t had any issues with the crash until just now. Just collected from Lois and got my next headband after multiple attempts over the past few days. Moments after collecting it consuela (love to see her on the show, hate seeing her on the game!) pops up saying the game crashed. Usually I hit try again and everything is the same no problem but at this point nothing happened to I hit the home button and opened it again. Lois re appeared as ready to collect from so I’m thinking the headband would appear as before, NOPE. It sure didn’t. Why do bad things happen to good people?! Also is there a way I can contact tinyco and regain my headband or is it a lost cause?

Sadly, it’s lost. This is a reoccurring problem that TinyCo has been working on since day 1. They even issued a temporary fix in the form of a work around. When you get a epic or very rare item, soft close the game (home button) this will force a “save” and your hard work won’t be lost. Glad this is the only time you have experienced the crash. Hope the item “god” smiles on you and you get that headband back quickly. 🙂

Warning: Rant
I’m having a really frustrating time with this event. But, I’m glad I’m not alone. I find myself constantly comparing the game to TSTO. I play both games as a premium player, but after this event I’m no longer going to put anymore money into Family Guy until they better balance out their game. I’m not ready to fully give up on them, especially because I’ve already invested money in my game.
I usually allow myself a budget of $20-$30 for limited time items in an event. And with the Stonecutters event it worked out perfectly. I never had to rush anything, I received all the prizes, and there was even a few days in there that I missed visiting neighbors. I love my new premium items. They feel special and worth it.
The pyramid event is all over the map. New items are constantly appearing in the store and most of them cost clams. When the event first started I purchased everything that was premium thinking that was all they had for the event. It turned out to be a waste of money because I received the same items as well as items I’d bought before the event with in game cash. I gambled with the sarcophagus two times and received two DJ booths and three mini moon idols. Besides Cleveland, there are no other characters to get except for King Butt. And now, with only a few days left, I’m 10,000 idols short of getting him and I have no more money to spend. Nor do I wast to put anymore money into the game. Most of my items are in storage and I don’t need so many if the same items.
I’ve tried really hard to remain positive. I’ve dealt with the ridiculous time lines and last minute game changes, the overly long wait for characters to unlock, the freezing, the crashing, and guessing.
I’m sorry this is so long. But, I really feel cheated this event. Anyone that spends money on a game deserves better treatment. We’ll see how strictly freemium goes.

You know, I really gotta add that it’s so nice of addicts to have a space where you can go and vent a little. I’m sure, myself included, most people are enjoying the game – but, every once in a while there’s something that just irks you and you need to let it go. And yes, Cybersilly, I am totally stoked to have a whole slew of lava and coral fences! That’s going to make artsy stuff way more fun!

What the hell… I wonder if family of the makers that play this game… If they also despise them now… Lost respect for them and maybe disown them!!! I know ive given TinyCo hell with my comments.. But they are honest and true for a greedy, ungrateful company to their customers… What the hell the post office runs better!!!!

My most recent WTH with this game—-> Quagmire’s Gold Digger Island Quest: Part 6 requires the purchase & placement of one Gold Digger Island (no surprise there)… BUT when I tried to place said island in my Quahog, it wouldn’t allow me to place it far enough out into the water area for it to be surrounded by water on all sides (WHICH IS, LIKE, THE #1 BASIC FREAKIN’ REQUIREMENT FOR SOMETHING TO EVEN BE CONSIDERED AN ISLAND!!!)
So, if we can’t get the parameters of the build area expanded, then can we at least get the name of this stupid, no-money-earning-but-pretty-expensive-to-have-to-buy, tropical landmass changed to “Gold Digger PENINSULA” please?!?!?

I have my King Butt, I have everything I want to buy with my butts. All of my quests are done, and I have bought all the land. I really need a new district!!!! Hopefully we will see something after the weekend. In the meantime I am going to keep collecting coin ( I have bought everything I wanted and have $150,000 left) and leveling up my characters!

My WTH is that I swear this game is designed for people who sit home all day and have all the time in the world to play. I work FT as well as having club meetings, animals to take care of, a house to clean, a husband to feed… I have been squeezing this game in my free time and only have 24567 moon idols total..I have basically given up wining the grand prize and my goal was to have all characters (even paid ones).; Unless you spend money on clams to speed things up, there is just no way to win without spending 24/7 on this.. Ugh.

biggest what the hell, would be having the event disappear from game 2 days ago taking with it all the skins from Cleveland and peter and all my hard earned unspent moon idols and never being able to get king butt, with tinyco being all sorry but we’re not going to fix this so just have 100 clams, that’s a WTH

A month of playing this event, all this hype about jelly-yo shots event, building up shots for a big run on Monday to try to get a high streak & all of a sudden King Butt just becomes available, the quest ends & all he can do is run around town taking selfies. What the hell?!?!

Agree with all these crappy repeats from the “Booty Box!” At least allow is to sell stuff back, even if it’s for a lesser amount that it’s worth! Because I REALLY don’t need multiple dry bush gardens & quagmire planes! -______-

The irony to me getting 4 skate parks, is I had JUST purchased one last week, while looking for ways to spend coins. Found a nice little spot for it. Now I have a total of 5 and absolutely nowhere to put them; as if anyone wants 5 skate parks? But I also landed 3 Dry Bush gardens… Here’s the WTH/WTF: way earlier in thr game, I had a quest that asked me to place one. So, why on earth would they make a prize out of something they KNOW many players have already purchased? Read: been forced to place. Am I the only one who got that quest request? (Ha! That’s a fun phrase!)
Note that I’m NOT complaining about not getting the prize I want every play. I’ve gambled before. I know how it works. But WTH on the selection, chances and repetition! IDK what the solution is. Maybe offer the choice to spend more & get to select 5 prizes to choose from? Obviously only allowing one selection of clams and one of butts, the others of your chosing? IDK. Or after winning 3 of something, remove it from the list?
Here’s what I got so far: (I’m keeping 50, 000 butts in case they update again with more expensive butt purchases and plan to cash in the remaining butts on the booty box if none show up by the last day. Wish they turned into coins..or CLAMS!!)

I elaborated more on this on the New Quohog Additions post, and came to post my WTH but read a few of the posts first. Now I’m doubly WTFing. Yes, WTF not WTH. Six purchases of the 4000 idol sarcophi, and I get yacht, 7000 idols, open air debris garden, open air debris garden, open air debris garden, open air debris garden. FOUR IN A ROW of the worthless piles of junk (quite literally). I read a couple of posts here from people saying they had better luck and that’s annoyed me even more (not my fellow clammers, my luck I mean). WTH TinyCo. I posted earlier all positive. Now for the Wtf. I only use my phone though Facebook &I it does my head in that the post time’s are not regional. I post at 3pm gmt and it comes up 8am in who knows where. All these companies are supposed to be global entities &mega clever etc. The world is huge & varied (thank you. whoever you think or what made it happen) not just one tiny part where a big multinational? Company happens to be based. I’m sure they could show what part of the world it was posted from with your local time &theirs!! Thank you rant over j ps love the site & the other one. Xxx

Love the new Brian tomb that cost 4000 moon idols to buy. I had not yet spent any of my total apart com what I had too ( costumes and decos for tasks.) I had 52000 banked so just kept buying them. Here is what I got. 2 skate parts. Peter plane. 22000 moon idols back. 50 clams!!!! And the open fire garden. I now have a total of 72000 moon idols. I’m gonna push to get that last prize.

Sigh. I’m done complaining. My car AC isn’t working and my engine stalled three times on the way to work, so I guess that’s going in the shop. I just had a crown come off so I guess I’m going to the dentist. I’m just getting over bronchitis, but now I think I might be getting an ear infection. As if my life isn’t bad enough, now I have to deal with this idiotic King Butt thing? Nah, I’ll just play casually and whatever I get, I get. As I said in another post, the Family Guy show and game doesn’t carry the emotional attachment created through character depth that the Simpsons do. I have no idea who King Butt is or why I should care about him or his partying camel. Family Guy has always been all over the place and about the quick laugh regardless of how a character would normally act, so that’s how I’ll play the game. I just have to realize it’s a completely different experience than TSTO and view it that way. Life’s not so bad after all. Sometimes you gotta just say “What the hell.” 🙂 BTW, thanks for both sites, you guys do a great job!

This game has taken over my and my boyfriend’s lives! The last thing before bed and the first thing in the morning we’re checking our Quahogs. We both swore we’d never pay real money for something in a free game and now we’ve both bought clams. And it irritates me far more than it should that there’s still no Stewie. What the hell!

WTH is with tinyco saying that the jelly-o game is going to give us such great earning potential that it would be impossible NOT to unlock king @$$ with our 100,000 idols? In the time sine it started I’ve collected 28 jellies the freemium way. Wow, staggering totals. I will hit multiple 50+ multipliers by next summer at this snail rate. I am a completionist but I refuse to pour copious amounts of clams into sarcophogi that potentially hand over an insulting 8 jellies for 120 clams. This event has made me think tinyco might be a business that is entitled to earning cash, but also kinda @$$#&£€$. WTH is with me being mad at a free game? I just want to go back to normal Quahog and forget about this event/cash grab which will be difficult because I have forty ugly Egyptian decorations messing up my town. I have a gorilla holding a kitten that’s bigger than a damn camel. I have 50,000 butts to spend and I have crap like bath houses and lotus ponds to look forward to…joy. Waiting for the last possible moment to spend just in case TC puts in something incredible. As an adjunct, I hope we at least get to keep the museum.

What the hell…. is in the booty box? I thought it might be worth it to try get some of the more expensive event items like the lotus pond, but after seeing some people say they just got random crap like the wheelchair skatepark and open air gardens, I’m gonna give this a pass as well.

Oh, I forgot a few things.
Why the helll… is TC more focused on original-to-the-game content (i.e. Kingdom of the Full Moon) than adding characters and such from the actual TV show? This event has been nice because we’ve been able to unlock Cleveland and one of his outfits, and I like that there are some new decorations that I can put in my Quahog. However, his event has gone on too long for something that isn’t even related to the show. As far as I can tell from their FB page, Stewie, Mayor West, Tom Tucker and Carter are all in much higher demand than anything related to Kingdom of the Full Moon.
Why the hell… did TC wait until the final few days of the event to give us more chances of earning moon idols? I have no interest in reaching 100,000 to unlock King Butt, but I would like to earn enough idols to get all of the decorations and at this rate I doubt its gonna happen. 8-10 days would have been a more reasonable time frame for this Jelly-Yo nonsense, not 6.
Why the hell do only three characters earn jelly-yo shots? And why are they four hour tasks? Given that we only had 6 days left when they introduced this new “defeat King Butt” task, I think it would be more fair to have either more characters earn the shots on 4 hour tasks, or leave Peter Quagmire and Cleveland to earn the shots but make them 1 hour tasks instead.
I’ve become increasingly disappointed with this event. It was fun at first but now its just an obvious cash grab, and isn’t even related to the show. I hope that a new district will open up soon after its over.

Having given up trying to get King Butt until the end of the event I now seem to have Two King Butts walking around my town. WTF?! Lol
The game seems to have more Crashes in the the last week than my local E.R does in a month!

I also have two King Butts running around. They look identical, but one of them is broken – if I click on him while eradicating mummies then my game shows for a blink some error dialog and then reloads, and I have to start tapping on mummies from scratch

I am just a bit annoyed about the customer Service. Most problems can be solved by the Facebook Group I recently joined.
But if you spend clams and do not get anything for it, the Guys from Customer Service should answer quickly. I can live without an answer – but I won’t spend anymore REAL MONEY before problems a solved:-).

I have been trying to hold off from having a rant throughout the week but the only way to do that was to pretty much avoid this site as I have almost had enough of this game.
Mummy rates that are all over the place.
I am someone who plays at least a couple of times a day and still not even reached 30,000 idols.
So few characters can actually earn idols and these are the only ones that have other tasks that end up just getting in the way.
I just want this event to be over then unlock the next district to see if it will be worth carrying on playing.
I still appreciate the work that you guys do giving us the information but this event has annoyed me as much as Easter did in TSTO but they managed to win a lot of us back with their event.
Anywhoo… no what the hell in my real life as that has been enough of a rant and its the weekend 🙂
But that will end up meaning another awkward timed update 😉

No complaints after a great update this morning (UK). The booty box swapping 4000 booty for some great premium decorations or more booty than you spent or even a generous amount of clams. Pity I’d already bought a helicopter though but now I can make a nice little airport.

Here’s my vent! I spent nearly 1000 clams boosting up my multiplier as I thought it unlocked King Butt! I now have nearly 300,000 and still no sign if him! I realise now that he will probably be made available at the last minute. A pricey mistake on my part. Rant over!

The new sarcophagus. Yeah it costs idols but in 5 attempts I’ve had 3 bush gardens and 2 open air gardens. Complete rip off. What is the point of multiple decorations that are useless. Hopefully I can sell these pointless ‘prizes’. Not happy at all.

– Lack of new new regular content such as unlocking Stewie or Channel 5
– Totally irrelevant decorations for insane amounts of money
– Lack of quality assurance (missing game graphics, crash upon exit…) combined with lack of proper reaction (either taking the time to respond to support requests or fixing the problem)
– TSTO starting to crash again with insane frequency
On the other hand…
– It’s Friday and I’m leaving the office in ten minutes! 😀
