Hello There Clammers!
Sorry for being slightly MIA this weekend. Sometimes you just need a day off to recover and remember why you enjoy playing the games you play. That and sometimes the Jersey Shore just calls your name!
I’d like to thank Cybersilly for being AWESOME and helping you guys out in the comments. Which brings me to another little addition that happened this weekend. We’ve added one Cyber R Silly (his middlename is Ridiculous you know)..but you can just call him Cybersilly…to our team here at FG Addicts! Consider him the “Wookiee” of Family Guy. He’ll be helping out in the comments…so get ready for an extra dose or 2 of a little more silly!
So now…let’s get to the rest of the points of this post. The new weekend additions to TQFS! So let’s get to it shall we?
First up is King Butt.
I briefly talked about him in my quick post from the stands a Citizen’s Bank Park Friday night. But Friday night saw him released in the game as a full fledged character. He’ll even take selfies of his junk and butt to prove his worth in your game (IMO….still not worth it).
As I mentioned if you claim him in your game your Jelly-Yo Shot game will end. Basically King Butt is the max prize (And the Gold Statue) so once you’ve claimed it your Kingdom of the Full Moon Event should be over…hence no need to keep earning Butts. HOWEVER, one of our awesome readers pointed out & we’ve confirmed that IF you put the Gold Statue into your inventory it will restart the shot game. That’s right, you’ll restart your Jelly-Yo Shot quests right where you left off…as long as your store your Gold Statue. So if you want to keep racking up those idols (for more prizes or a chance at clams) or if King Butt is just annoying the crap outta you & you wanna make him puke… just store your gold statue and you’ll be, well, golden.
And now to talk about our newest hot mess additions is our very own Hot Mess…Bunny 😉
BUNNY IN THE HOUSE!!!
Ever think that it just wasn’t enough to have a bunch of party, linen wrapped, flashing mummies running around your town? Well now you have the next step in “sexy” mummy girls. Ones that not only are partying, jumping round, and flashing too…these ones are the kind you bring home to…the frat house. They giggle then puke. Attractive, huh? Makes you want them running all over your Quohog, right? Lol.
“These Hot Mess Mummies are tardy to the party, but they come bearing butts.”
Well TinyCo has introduced another way for you to get a lot of extra booty in your towns really fast. You just got to let go of some or a lot of those precious clams of yours.
For the cost of a Brian Sarcophagi, 25 Clams, you can get 10 Hot Mess Mummies released from the pyramid all at once. The amount of Moon Idols you will get from them total will vary from at least 400 to at most 800.
For the cost of the Stewie Sarcophagi, 120 Clams, you can get an entire Sorority of 50 Hot Mess Mummies released from the pyramid all at once. The amount of Moon Idols for this crazy group will give you at least 2000 and at the most 5000.
So the question is if these are worth it to you? Well, if you want to guarantee a purchase of ONLY Moon Idols and have the Clams to spare, these might be what you are looking for. Otherwise, just keep getting those Jelly-yo shots and get the booty from the King.
Now for one more item you may or may have not noticed available in the winnings for the Stewie Sarcophagi, the Fart of the Covenant.
According to the details for the new item, it has a special action… however in my test games it has no action. I am currently looking into that and will report later. (From the description I assume some kind of farting similar to the Badonkadonk.)

Wookiee aka Joe… is an original addict from our TSTO site and mainly hangs over there.
Cybersilly is a reader, just like you… that hopped in to help out during a heavy travel time for me. Real life took him back away.

Ahhh, well I do miss his posts, I have seen him off and on and he is very knowledgeable about all things FG (As are you and Alissa) Nuce of him to blue lines and jump in the fray when the going gets tough.
Still looking forward to seeing the Wookiee on here, too.

After buying almost 40 Booty Boxes… Can a brother get a Petercopter?!?
Lucky enough to score a few planes, both statues, and even a few clams, so I’m definitely not complaining.
As someone who plays premium, this event was a bit of a disappointment. Lots of clams spent, and for what? A character that seems out of place, buildings I am going to store for now because they are also out of place, and with limited space I don’t really want an Egyptian Quahog.
I appreciate the bone TinyCo threw everyone with the Booty Boxes, but I feel bad for all those players who haven’t even come close to 80s Cleveland and had a hard time unlocking Adventure Peter, let alone King Butt.
Honestly, this whole event seemed like a giant money grab, and although it worked on a sucker like me, I can’t help but think it drove MANY more people away than it drew in.

Said it before will say it again. Meh. All my buildings are useless and have been throughout the event. The shots minigame is faaaaar too late in the game to be overly useful. The idols themselves bought junk and the “always” buildings were pointless once they had run their course. I have 3 bars now they could have all done shots. I have clothing stores and things like that that could have been used for items. I don’t think this should have come out yet. Or something smaller and far simpler. Also way too much emphasis on premium currency. A good event is where free gets all the free stuff with diligent tapping. Premium is for limited time special stuff or to make the event easier. Diligent tapping would earn you… 50k or so. I have 43k as I gave up a lot when I found the final prize was 100. Meh some more. On the bonus side the items I won’t get suck and I will probably inventory everything but st elmos clam

You have raised some very valid points and echo the sentiment of quite a few players. Since TinyCo has demonstrated their intent and desire to improve this game, I can only hope that the events and new adventures, moving forward, improves.

An idea for the game: E-bay. Sell your no need stuff like open air debris gardens to Tinyco or other users for, let’s say, a huge amount of clams? I got plenty of stuff to resell.

Am I missing something? The first KB screen said you can earn shots from buildings, but there are currently none that I can see that give you shots; and they’re cutting it a little fine if they’re going to be added in an update between now and Tuesday….
I’m currently on 74,000 idols, having spent everything on Booty Boxes – that netted me a little over 20,000, along with a pile of useless decorations. I’ve been playing daily, and quite often hourly; and I doubt I’m going to get KB unless something drastic happens.
Family Guy is suffering compared to the event in Tapped Out – in that game, by playing the same amount, I managed to get everything I needed with over a week to spare. I want to like this game, but everything seems aimed at separating players from their money.

Wishing that I hadn’t updated. I could have had the 100k by now and unlocked KB. Now I’m stuck around 75k and unless some sort of last minute miracle sweep happens, I’ll be saying so long to him.

I sqeaked out enough butts for King Butt. Then realized I had 90k butt trophies to blow. If you came up short on King Butt… Just buy the 4k butt sarcophagi. Sure you may get a bunch of junk… But I got over 50k in extra butts from it, and since you only need to collect 100k for King Butt, and not actually purchase him for it… Voila!
No guarantees, but you may strike gold. I got both of the exclusive statues (Anubis, and the beer bong chick), 7 yachts, 5 skate ramps, 4 airplanes, and some other crap…

For realz or just kiddin? I’m hoping for the next district ASAP. Actually I think it would be amazing if it went straight in to it! This event bummed a lot of ppl out and even tho I busted by butt for the butts, got king butt etc I feel like the event was kinda lame and more of a money grab. Just my opinion…
But really… news of new stuff?
I didn’t start playing until after the first event, so I can’t personally gauge the time between the event to new district. Does anyone remember how long after the first event until China town was opened? That may be our best bet trying to guess?

Actually, IMHO, TinyCo released new districts too quickly in the beginning. It got players spoiled. Felt like every time I turned around, I was busy unlocking land and grinding out tasks to produce evasive items…lol. You’re right about this event, it didn’t produce the desired effect that TC was hoping for, thus, I see them trying to get back in the good graces of their fans and releasing district 8 pretty quickly after the Adventure event comes to an end. We will all find out together… 😉

I played 16 times exactly. I got 1 open air debris garden and 15 skate parks. I got screwed. To further add insult to injury, my timers keep screwing up so my 4 hour Jell-O shot tasks take way longer. I went to collect 4 hours after starting and it had added over an hour to my time. I’ve experienced time flux between 20 extra minutes and almost 90 minutes. Thanks to tinycos wonderful screwup, I now will never collect enough shots to defeat King Butt. This is like the 20th time this game has screwed me. Tinyco never fixes or compensates me for their screw ups. I’m done wasting my time with this game. Thanks to you all for helping us. I quit.

OUCH…I would be upset, too. We are glad we could help, but don’t go! 😦 Might I suggest you wait just a bit longer (you have invested a lot of time into this game) and see what the next district will bring. See if the next update fixes problems that I know they are working on. Just allow yourself a bit of time to cool off…take a break. Then return to get Stewie, you deserve to unlock him….just a thought 🙂

Can I getdome giudance on kicking king butt? I only have 40k idols with less than 2 days left. I currently have 17 red, 31 blue, 15 purple djots. In general it looks like I can get about 30 more shots before the end…. does any one have a list of shots needed for each level of the streak when beating him? Also, can I just keep kicking him for 3 blue shots and get yhe multiplier that way? Also wondering if with 40k if its even worth it? Sorry for the long post, but feeling like yhis may. Have been a huge waste of time…

Sadly, with such a short time remaining in the event, you’d need to spend quite a few clams to get all the prizes…including “KB” and Gold Adventure Peter trophy. The levels are 3 shots, 8 shots, 14, 25 and 40 shots and the color of each shot needed (per streak level) is totally random….no pattern. You would have to let the timer run out each time to just play the 3 shot level (not worth the 150 idol payout, plus not enough time to do it). Just collect as many idols as you can, then spend them on butt currency items you like and the “Booty Box” 😉

As for King Butt not being worth it, I wish I knew before I spent so many clams. So I will have to get him anyway since I spent so many clams it’s ridiculous and now I have around 93k. They would be a waste otherwise. When the end is near I’m gonna speed up the 400 clam shrine I got in the beginning. I just wish I knew that he was not worth it, I’m not saying it’s your fault, so please don’t think that. I guess I just can’t think for myself LOL. 🙂

I’m glad this event is almost over and hope they add stewie soon. Also you can change the color of your 1st base shot and reset the 24 timer when you put the gold trophy back in your inventory. This way you can change your 1st shots to the ones you have the most of.
