Hello There Clammers!
Well after just over a month of playing the Kingdom of the Full Moon Event is coming to an end. For some Clammers that may be a welcome change, while for others you may be sad it’s not being extended. In either case let’s go over some things you’ll want to do as the event winds down.
Remember the Kingdom of the Full Moon Event ends July 1st, and as of right now TinyCo as made no indication that they will be extending the event. So you’ll want to wrap everything up today….
So just what will disappear, and what should you do? Let’s break it all down….
First, any of the limited time decorations (that cost booty) that you were looking at purchasing for YOUR Quahog make sure you purchase them now. Once the event ends they’ll disappear. Here’s a look at what decorations cost booty:
Succulent Garden– 20 Booty
Bubbling Lava Fence– 25 Booty
Lava Hot Tub– 1,250 Booty
Crown Canopy Tree– 500 Booty
Egyptian Bath House– 3,000 Booty
King Butt Flag– 50 Booty
Red Hot Coal Pit- 500 Booty
Evil Monkey Statue– 10,000 Booty
Desert Oasis– 15,000 Booty
Lotus Pond– 20,000 Booty
Baby Palm Tree– 250 Booty
Tiki Torch– 250 Booty
Next, any of the limited time items that you can purchase with clams you’ll want to snag if you want them & can afford them.
You’ll also want to make sure you work that last little bit to earn 80’s Cleveland & Adventure Peter if you haven’t already. Once the event ends the option to unlock those costumes will disappear forever. So you won’t want to miss out on these costumes! Be sure to do what you can to unlock them prior to the event ending. Don’t forget you can also do the Imperial Sarcophagus for 50 clams and earn large increments of items you’ll need for 80’s Cleveland.
Finally, you’ll want to wrap up earning any additional Booty you need to claim your next highest prize. Continue to do the Jelly-yo shots, and start turning them in for the streak. Also, use your Booty (AFTER you’ve purchased any items you want) on the Booty Boxes. You’ve got a shot at earning additional clams and Booty in the boxes. Booty that can help you unlock the next prize. So consider running through your booty stash on those Booty Boxes. Once the event ends the booty will be useless, so at least the booty boxes give you a shot at using them!
So there you have it Clammers…the final steps to take to help you complete the event and wind it all down. What do YOU think of the end of the event? Are you ready for it to be over? So I’ve been thinking. Are we sure this is a glitch and not an Easter egg the developers hid?? I’m left wondering if this was deliberate and we just had to figure it out. It’s just to odd really.

Truthfully..it’s an end of game glitch that just sprung up yesterday. It’s only effecting some players. Sadly…with so little time left….I don’t seeing it being fixed 😦

I’d like to give a massive thank you to Tsdave81! Woke up this morning with 40k butts and no hope of getting to 100k. Glad to say he is now mine 🙂 my gf managed to boost up from 60k too.

So I just logged in this morning at 645 est previously was on around midnight and now mummies are appearing any longer. If the event doeant end til later today then tiny co really dropped the ball here cutting the swapn of the zombies

I am officially throwing in the towel. I am not going to beat King Bootie by the end of event today. I have been playing and saving Jelly for 3 days.. I beat him 2x and what do I need next? 14 of a color I had 11 of because it was the one color I could not get to drop (I have over 30 of the other two). I have been trying since yesterday to get that color to drop, even spending clams and it’s not dropping..I’m using up my hard earned clams to quickly to speed actions and it’s just not worth it at this point. Very disappointed.

I ended up blowing my clams and finally got the last colors. Went as far as I could, then tested the “glitch” and finished with enough to get king butt. I stopped after that. I wanted something for blowing all my hard earned clams. Lol

The event was fine until the ‘King Butt’/mad scramble to collect 100,000 butts started. From that point on, it was just a big cash grab with frustrating random prize boxes that gave you crap most of the time. In my mind, it’s a design failure when the only way to ‘win’ the event is spending real money or taking advantage of exploits, which seems to be an accepted strategy based on what I’m reading.

Well, after finally being able to purchase $15 of clams without it kicking me out, realised I need to get another $15 worth to get King Butt. I wasn’t happy but rather then waste my money I already spent i thought yeah just do it…n guess what…it wont let me purchase them. Not a happy bunny thats $15 I’ve wasted on nothing. Wont be playing this game again, what a lesson to learn!

That’s odd. It won’t let you purchase them via the game? (like the option isn’t there) or via your app store? I would definitely make a complaint to TinyCo about it. They may award you some clams for your troubles and/or give you King Butt. Be sure to file a complaint right away about it…and keep trying because the end of the event is near

No, you use to be able to store,then replace the throne, but that feature has been removed. If you had the gold Peter trophy, you could place it back in your town, then remove it again (but I have a feeling, you’re still working on getting 100,000 idols).

I am so MAD I am fuming…I just lost 100 claims. I was looking through the stuff to buy and it purchased the adventure hut..I do not need this nor want it. Why want they put a confirm button on the stuff you purchase. Plus at 2:58 am CDT I am no longer getting mummies so I guess that is the way they are trying to get us to purchase. I contacted them so I will see how they handle it.

Im at 91k booty but king butt is in 50 shots with 15 hours till time out!
I got 2000 booty to spend so not even enough for a booty box.
Anyway to get the shrine to reset ealier or somink so i can take advantage of glitch, ill never get 50 blue as i just did 25 blue!

The next level is 40 shots…it pays 50x. Since you no longer can store the throne and you don’t want to buy a few clams to speed up a shot producing character, sadly, there is really nothing you can do 😦

While the timer counts down, but before it hits zero…then return to the game after the timer would have reached zero…have fun.

I actually got King Butt! I wasn’t expecting to, but I had saved up about 20,000 idols and with the booty boxes finally got over the top! So yeah now I’m done with it. But I know for sure I wouldn’t have gotten all the prizes had I not purchased the big magma shrine at the beginning of the event. Wouldn’t have been possible if I was totally freemium. I do wish that TinyCo would balance out the cool stuff that’s free vs the cool stuff that costs money. I know they have to pay their developers but for some reason spending money on clams makes me more grumpy than spending money on donuts in TSTO. Perhaps if they had a few more ways to earn clams, other than visiting your neighbors and getting 5 per week?

I think the event will end before I get to use the glitch as need to wait for timeout but I did get my own unbelievable run of booty boxes.
My 4000 idols gave me one last box. this gave me 5000 idols which bought another box and it gave 5000 or 7000 idols and so on. I went from 50000 to 95500 idols in minute, now stuck annoyingly 500 short of last prize 🙂

Defeat the king, flush him down the toilet, close your game. Wait two minutes and open it again, your shot totals should be doubled. Repeat times a million..

No mummies here either, the color I need to beat the king is not dropping so I can finish the streak and use the shots I saved up.. Almost used my clams up..bad ending for me..

I’ve tried it three times, even spending six clams to speed up the boys to get the necessary starting shots… No dice. For whatever reason, this process doesn’t yield results for me. Very disappointing.

Wish I had known about the glitch, I am getting no mummies as of 2:58 CDT. I am less than 2000 away. Also as anyone had any trouble with putting their new stuff in inventory and it disappearing? I had a bunch do that and I worked hard for those butts…

So far you are the second player to have this problem. Send an in-game message to TinyCo so they can start tracking the issue.

No mummies over here either…and I’m in EDT, so I thought I might be able to snag the monkey before this is all over. I’m disappointed in TinyCo…I spend some money on this and TSTO, and have never been able to get a cool prize…130 clams alone for ONE Stewie Sarcophagus is $5! You’d hafta drop approx 40 or 50 smackers just to get anything good! (And I really liked the DJ booth)
Hopefully TinyCo will learn, but I think this event paid em well, so I’m thinking they will keep this up…if we all hadn’t invested so much, maybe they would’ve thought twice about pricing items so high. I’m not complaining, it was fun, just frustrated that in the end they didn’t really make getting the king quite affordable. Some ppl just don’t make enough money to invest in chance and not guarantees…

Well that was a bust…over 10 hours without mummies and now at 4:00 CDT it’s over even though it was saying there was still 5 hours left at 1:18 CDT. I would have made it if not for the no mummies mess up.

There are two groups of people I feel sorry for, king butt also known as he who prays all night and the people who spent all that money to get king butt when there just so happens to be a nice trick to earn lots of butts, for free.

Is the glitch working for both android and ios ? And when I press my home button the game keeps going for a while without it being on the screen is this going to affect it, should I still press the home button or turn the phone off or exit the game with the back button, sorry to keep asking just want to make sure I get everything lol.

Works on both…I only know iOS devices, on those you tap “home” twice, then swipe the game off the screen. This is how you close a game completely. If you just tap once, the game just minimizes and is still running in the back ground.

Ok cheers does anyone else know how to do it on android ? I know how to shut the game off completely but don’t know if this is how the glitch works, can anyone on android tell me how they done it ?

On my android…galaxy s4…I press and hold the home button on my phone. If I don’t hold it long enough…it will just go to the home screen…so I tap and hold it a lil longer and it brings up the screen of essentially all your “open” pages. Once there, I just swipe each one to the right side of my screen and it closes them. Or…there is the option of close all at the bottom of the screen too for me. Either way, you are just basically forcing the game closed. This also worked on my Galaxy tab.

I’ve spent everything on booty boxes to try and complete the event fully. Out of 16 boxed I got 7000 and 5000 butts. Ah well, I think I’ll miss out on King Butt unless I spend some real money.
Was thinking of getting 600 clams and speeding up jelly shot production to hit the 50x bonus.
It seems like they doubled the bonus butts after they removed the mummies. I got 7500 butts for the 25x bonus.
Is it worth it? Sitting at 76000 and pretty bummed out (pun totally intended).

Wish I could reset my timer, as before my post I used my jelly shots meaning my count down will expire after the event timer (which I only figured out by doing time conversions as I don’t live in the US).

Well I think the event is over for me. Saved up my shots and was able to get to a 50x multiplier. Had 52000 now I’m sitting around 65 don’t think I can get to 70 by the end. Really wish the event was handled better. I really wanted king butt, it would have been cool, there’s no chance now. Thanks for the break down of the event and the coverage on the game.

Re: the mummies spawning. I finally had a 12 hour sleep last night and had one mummy this morning. Just got home from work after 7 hours and I have none. I’m done. Can’t even be arsed seeing if the jelly thing works because for the last three days I needed three red and that has magically changed to three purple.

Getting more reports about the mummies no longer spawning. Probably too late in the game to do anything about it. When the “king Butt” timer expires it resets the colors…sometimes to the same but most times different……I’ll join you for that beer..lol 😉

Thanks everyone. I thought I’d try killing the game after trying the booty boxes. I’ve got Quagmires plane, Pelicopter, 10 clams and both statues before I was blessed with 2 debris gardens. Having said that, I only had to kill it on the debris gardens and only one worked …upside down statue dude.
With the jellies changing colour, my 24 hours was only up about 15 minutes ago which is why I was all “What the hell?” about it.
However, pleased I got some good stuff, feel for people that didn’t and I’ll give the jelly thing a bash.

Would work if I could get the dang 2 shots I need to make him puke into the throne….I have only peter and Cleveland working because they are the two that drops the color I need, and they have nit dropping it..I have been saving the shots like said here and I was not counting on this occurring..ugh. I finally put Quagmire onto other actions that I need to finish quests. At this point it no longer matters–I have to wait 4 hours and hope the 2 shots I need drop and if they don’t it’s over for me as I won’t have the time to try again,,

Used the glitch and went from 40,000 butts to 140,000 butts… Hooray! I’m pumped for this event to be over.

Keep sending Peter on the task. In the meantime, try some basic troubleshooting to see if that hels. You can also alert TinyCo via your menu, help & settings, and contact them to let them know in case there is something else going on.

Riding the glitch!! I’m a freemium player that took advantage of keeping the game open to get a lot of mummies, so I was at 95,000 butts on Sunday. Then I started defeating King Butt. However, I would shut down the game right after defeating King Butt. Once I reopened the game, it gave me extra Jelly shots! I’ve been doing this for awhile and now have over 387,000 butts! I’m on IOS, anyone else experiencing the glitch?

This happened in the circus event too. I buy a few things, put them in storage a little while later, and the count drops. I had 25 lava fences in storage, bought a few more and only had 14 in storage when I opened my game back up. I put 6 in storage and checked my inventory, still said 14. I’m confused & afraid to put these things in storage now.

The mummies don’t seem to be spawning from the pyrimid any more anyone know if this is supposed to be happening.

Is this while you are in the game or after you return to the game. They spawn very slowly now and it’s rare that I see them spawning while I’m actively playing.

Hmmmmmmm…..I would normally direct you to send a message to TinyCo..but, frankly, it’s so near the end of the event…I don’t see them giving it their full attention. My only suggestion is to close the game, then turn off your device…wait a minute and turn it back on to see if it just wasn’t a local problem with your devices cache.

So, here is my question…my wife just cashed in all her shots, and the timer would start over for 24 hours every time you defeat King Butt, can I extend out the event by slowly cashing in my shots?….we’ll see, I’m gonna give it a try because it looks like it’ll work.

The best thing about this event for me was saving some sweet cash, clearing all of the land, and still having a tonne of cash. So I’m hoping that there will be some new things I can spend it on. I was never a chance of getting king butt. I’ll be lucky to hit 50,000 idols by the end. Happy to see the event end!

They need to extend the event. They waited far too long to release the king butt/jello shot portion of the event. I wasnt disappointed in the event until recently. From what Ive gathered talkiing to friends and reading. With kings butt release alot of players were around 50,000 butts away. And with the jello shots addition with about a week or so to go and gather that many butts is kinda a reach and looks like alot of people are upset/sour about it. Tiny co should take a page out of ea’s playbook with the simpsons tapped out and extend the event

just used another 8 clams and finally finished my booty streak..now I just need 40 red shots..but its impossible to finish now so I give up.. however I did get to play the booty box again and won 10 clams so yayyy-ish.

At least I got some nice treasures from the sarcophogus. 2 Lincoln statues (expensive!), Anubis statue, yacht, skatepark, etc. Plus spent some on trees and flowers to brighten up my town. So it was worth it.
I hope they won’t open new districts right away because I still even have to build the oceanland and unlock the asian district. (late starter)

Once you build up some cash…add more buildings, etc. you’ll be surprised how quickly you unlock everything and will be begging TinyCo to release new content.m glad you got some cool stuff. 😉

Tiny co obviously hasn’t done their homework on events yet. Players, freemium or premium, do not enjoy playing for nothing. I would love to have the statues from the booty box, but am I willing @ this point to spend clams for more booty just to get another yacht or garden? No. I will never understand the point in random prizes. Looks like I will also not see king butt in my game as I haven’t even reached 80k yet. I think I am more disappointed over not having a decent chance @ the exclusives than I am over king butt. I really hope they change up events soon. To infuriate players this early in the games existance may not be good. I love family guy & I do enjoy the game very much, but I am also a completest and this event is all over the map. So many different things going on for different prizes, most of which have almost 0 chance. I can honestly say after tomorrow I will have a very sad face over this event. Here’s to something better Tiny Co 😦

Booty box gave me in order.. yacht. Nerftiti statue (awesome), yacht, 5500 booty, 5000 booty, Quagmire plane, flammable garden, 2nd Quagmire plane.
I still might be able to hit it a couple more times before the event ends I really want the Anubis statue. Just hit 101k booty to get King Butt also so Yay for me. I basically had a successful event. Didn’t think I would get King Butt as I was only at 80k today but got lucky I guess. 🙂

The banner in the game has been updated to read “Ends 7/1 17:00 EDT”. That’s 21:00 GMT tomorrow. Go to http://www.greenwichmeantime.com and do your own math for where you live. 🙂

That’s 5:00 PM on the east coast and 2:00 PM on the west coast…It’s correct…I just confirmed with TinyCo the new time. 🙂
