Hello There Clammers!
With Valentine’s Day approaching….iOS users just got the same pre-event update that Kindle users got….we thought we should have a little fun here at Addicts while we all anxiously await TinyCo “flipping the switch” for the Event. So let’s start the Love Connection….
We know from the event sneak peak and from Tiny Matt’s guest post on our site that matchmaking will be a big part of this event. In fact Tiny Matt even says: “For Valentine’s Day, we’re wondering:what would happen if a bunch of these characters went on dates?” So now we want to know…which characters in TQFS would YOU send on a date?
Tell us in the comments below who you would try to make a love connection with. It can be anyone from Alien dating Predator to Nathan Fillion dating Babs Pewterschmidt…the possibilities are endless! So don’t be shy and let’s all put on our best Chuck Woolery impressions and try to make a Quahog Love Connection!

I see people saying Arnold is on the welcome screen. 1. Arnold Schwarzenaeger? 2. I don’t know what loading screen or welcome screen. Can someone please explain?

It IS Arnold. Fox had a picture of him on their facebook page for at least half an hour from 11:00 to 11:30 AM PST today with his picture and name saying he was available. It does not appear to be there now.

I downloaded the update and I have a major glitch happening. All of my tasks are finishing in minutes instead of hours. For example I just finished a ten hour task in about 15 minutes. This appears to happen when I go into the mode where I can move buildings around (I have been trying to clear up some space for new stuff). It is allowing me to get a lot more of my task items quicker, however so that’s good. But thought you might want to know.

I just loaded the game up like normal and even though a bunch of stuff was just cleared most stuff was ready to be tapped again. I had sent Brian a Dsitrict 10 task to drink beer and for West to enjoy taffy. Both were ready in a min. Then the next time hop Jesus was ready again fro the 24 hr task. That was roughly 550 EST. He is now down to 8 hrs.

I know I shouldn’t complain but this update might have messed up the counters on buildings and actions. By the time I finished tapping all of my buildings and characters all my 1-2 hour actions/building cool downs were already ready. Which is fine with me because obvious reasons…
Also minor bug but scrolling through things in the store no longer shows any inertia if you know what I mean. Like it stops moving as soon as I lift my finger. This makes finding this in the store SOOO slow. But if that’s the price I pay to have super speedy actions then I gladly accept.
(UPDATE) I decided to check my Quahog before sending this comment and my 4 hour actions have finished… Is this what time travel is like?

I would send Dia de los Muertos Consuela out on a date with Freddy Kruger. He’s been a bachelor for way too long and his shed is most likely a bloody mess. If he doesn’t kill her before she has a chance to tidy up, this could work.

There are a few obvious ones. Mr. Weed and Diane could lead to some scary scenarios. Jasper and Bruce, unless Stewie decides to declare. That would break all the barriers. And Multiverse Meg and me. A guy can dream can’t he?

I was wondering if they are going to have a female Stewie skin/character for the event since Stewie used these costumes for dates (Like when he pretended to be Karina (Sorry if I misspelled it)).
Also when is the update coming for Android? I still haven’t sent my characters on any quest since the previous mini-event ended.
