–WHAT THE DEUCE….the kissing couple walk rate. How long do they need to walk around before they stop. Geez. That guy is gonna get a hernia!
–WHAT THE DEUCE…even though I was rooting for the Patriots….WHO THROWS THE BALL ON THE 1 YARD LINE?!

WTD? My game will not stop crashing every two minutes, and I seem to have to do the same actions I just did. This is ridiculous, and is getting me to start resenting the game more than anything!

Ditto, the ‘Help Crashing & Lagging Game’ will not help you if you’re like me on the Samsung Galaxy S5. The problem seems to be memory or some part of the game not closing out even after a force close, or at least that’s my guess. Sometimes when I force close the game memory will drop to 1.1GB of 1.81GB, other times it drops to 775MB, and that’s with nothing else running besides system stuff. Regardless, had to restart multiple times on heart collection due to this since a crash resets the timer and what you collected is gone. I’ve reported this, but I don’t expect a fix. My game has crashed constantly for months, I just have to ‘put up with it’; WTD!

WTD: Accidental Clam-Tapping
My biggest bone to pick is the accidental clam-tapping. There are so many things needed to be tapped that you have to tap-tap-tap-tap quickly, and before you know it the screen freezes and while it’s frozen, the lagged taps press complete with clams, or buys a mystery box you don’t want.
I’ve lost at least 110 clams this way – once during Halloween when I dozed off while taptapping and bought a mystery box (Scaramara – but I refused to put her out because I didn’t want her in the first place!) and another few times accidentally completing mundane tasks for unimportant characters.
TinyCo gives no refunds for accidental clam-tapping!

The CSR apparently have some leeway. I did manage a refund on 10 clams used to accidentally speed up a rent collection. I have 1.8 million coins so no way it could have been anything but a mistake. I was told it was normally against policy and not to expect it to happen again.
(also, I bet my history of looooong complaints may have had something to do with it…)

No WTDs this week. I love valentines event.
And I just found out this cool trick.. Place your rite of passage tower in the inventory and then put it back in your town to reset it. Now, if you collect all the items and make the ball drop, voila! 10 clams.

Only 2 frustrations
One is the terrible horrible excuse for a windows 8 version of the game. Glad it exists, wish they bothered to finish it before releasing it. (Glitchy like crazy and no sync? Not a finished product imo.)
2 is the near game breaking lag and lockups. This game takes about 300mb/ram. A 3 minute timer in the new event helps..when the game locks up completely for 45+seconds (if you are lucky and doesnt freeze permanently or force close).
My guess is when in initial development it was a much smaller game play area, less things on screen, and no way to know that the way it was programmed would crash on a much larger scale. Somehow the way tapped out adds land (its massive in comparison space wise) and buildings and characters never puts nearly as much a strain on the system.
The only way i can see tinyco fixing this is rebuilding the game ground up and pushing it through as an “update”… and who knows if that’s even possible to do and keep everyone’s data. For all we know what is required to sync people’s characters and towns is directly linked to the source of the problem.
But I’ve played much more graphically intense games on my galaxyS5 with no slowdown. And I’ve played games like tapped out that are far larger with many more things in screen with no slowdown. I don’t want this game to fail, but I’m concerned if it gets too much bigger it will collapse on itself. .

Am I the only one that would like to see Cleveland half off in an event and pull in the gang from The Cleveland Show??? I would love to have Kendra riding around on her Rascal saying “Mayonnaise is a finger food!!!”

Seriously, y won’t they give us nice stuff to decorate with in this game huh? Look at the frigging fence in valentine area, there’s like three different types in there that’s better than what they gave us to decorate with. I wish they let us buy those. Can u girls let them know that. I bet they would at least reconsider it if u girls ask and also the brick road too. That’s wicked awesome. I mean since most of the decoration on the roads are character anyway y would they only give us road for cars? I got one car and a little fire truck but over a 50 characters and animals and other weird none car related things on the road so yeah, that brick road would look sweet.

WTD my complaint is with a few of the fellow players. Tinyco actually made collecting hearts much much easier and yet so many complaining about still can’t see and figure it out. I think they may have vision problems and tinyco can’t help them with that. I actually didn’t mind how the event started and took a few tries to catch on. But now they are flooding us with couples. I have both buildings already and nearing 50 hearts for the next building already lol. Also for them to complain about destroying their towns. All I did was remove most my streets but kept the initial Spooner st the same length and have no problem getting all hearts every time even when couples are behind buildings. There’s no reason to move all buildings away unless your struggling that bad. My town is quite crowded considering I’ve only been playing since after christmas and haven’t expanded much. Seriously guys Tinyco is doing what they can to make you happy. Enjoy this game.

I hear you fella, I seemed to me that TinyCo had listened to all the moaning about bombing shoppers/trick or treaters and decided to try something different and lo and behold they get damned for this too, since it is a game we are playing should there not be at least some challenge to it?

I’m on a really small phone, (Kyocera Event, literally the crappiest smartphone out there), but after a day of getting the hang of it, I’ve been able to get all or almost all the couples I want in less than three minutes. And I have five roads, three of them very big. I don’t even check one of them ever because by the time I get to the fourth one all the couples have moved around and only the couples I don’t want are on the fourth road. Suggestions are cool, but people keep dissing Tinyco for stuff that they can’t really change unless people want no challenge at all.

Seth, while I agree with your points, please continue to keep in mind that there are so many variables that effect other players experiences. And so for instance, while you can see on a small screen, maybe someone else isn’t as fortunate, to see as well. Or perhaps a stressed out parent is getting ready to feed his/her newborn, while simultaneously preparing for their older children, to get home from school. Or perhaps a full-time college student is checking in, in between 2 full-time jobs. I get your frustrations though. I wanna scream sometimes…but I am thankful for the patience on this site and for the the patience with our game developers. Alissa’s and Bunny’s patience especially is to be commended. And I agree TinyCo is doing what they can. It’s great when we fans teach each other, as you did in your post. TY.

Funny thing is since you said that. I am a stay at home dad with 4 kids and one is a newborn hence why I can play all day very little sleep. I don’t recommend doing it but I even efficiently clicked all love couples while driving to pick up pizza for my family yesterday. FYI my kids were home with my wife at that time and I would never be on my cell if anyone was in my car with me. Its not difficult at all.

I don’t feel it’s difficult either but my point is that different players experience the game differently. And are at different stages. Patience understanding, and being non-judgemental towards fellow players is not a bad thing.

WTD? Why do people complain about characters being useless on this game after events? If they make me money in game than they aren’t useless.

Because until a new district is unlocked the money is useless too. All the skins and characters that go unused is a let down. Plus instead of giving the characters a useful action they just put in a store a character function. Everyone should at least get a 24 hour task and a 12 hour task if it was premium. I don’t think that is too much to ask.

For those of us lucky enough to have both love prizes why are couples still appearing I’m 8 love but won’t tap any more just incase hate prize is cool next time. Either show the prizes or stop the couples. Also last week the boiler had to be repaired this week the washing machines playing up I’m disabled and my mum looks after me she does not need this.

I have been playing since the beginning and this event is the worst ever. The couples spend all of the time walking so you don’t know who is who and by the time they stop the timer has run out. Either have the bubbles over there heads all the time or shorten there walk time. Epic fail

Does anyone else not get any membership cards from Cleveland?? It says uncommon drop rate, but the past 7 times I’ve sent him drinking at the bar, I’ve gotten nothing!

WTD I knew it!!! I had a similar problem with the Ghost from King Butt (2 Days no ghost spawn) in fact I ended up throwing 80 Clams at it… Got the last one and Unlocked him with under 5 minutes to spare… The Problem with that? Even though I unlocked it and even shared it on facebook that I unlocked him…. He’s nowhere in my town, I’ve complained to them since the event ended…. Not a Single Reply, I even offered up screen shots showing the guy and a screen shot showing me logged into their app with the same profile, heck I even asked Bunny here to forward my concerns and they have still done NOTHING. Even went so far as to go to their Twitter Site and Tweet about it (not sure how to do it where it shows up on their site)… Still Nothing…. Since this is the 4th time they’ve messed me over I’m really starting to lose my cool with them. I would havecontacted their C.E.O If I knew how to this is To quote The Ice King “Unacceptable”!!!
As if that wasn’t b ad enough my tablet is becoming a pain to charge read online I either have to send it to a shop to get it repaired (meaning having to find another way to play, doing without…) or take it apart myself (voiding the Warranty in the proccess) to fix it myself again WHAT THE DEUCE????
So I’m sorry Bunny to Once again ask something else of you but please get the entire staff of this site to contact Tiny Co and let them know about my Problem with their game…please. I added a link to my facebook (second post down) as evidence in cause you’re concerned I might have exaggerated or out right lied to get something I didn’t earn.

As you can see by the date (today is the 12th) And yet Tiny Co Including C.E.O has yet to get back to me about my issue. I’m sure that they have just started ignoring my request for help since I wouldn’t think it would take 9 Days to even for a “We are looking into your issue response”… I’m beyond upset In fact if I hadn’t already invested almost a full year into this game I would have already moved on to something else (Cause I had Getting This Upset). The Thing that bothers me the most about all of this… Is if they really do have this little regard for free a character that was partly purchase by clams (whether earned through game or through paying them) then how can I rely on them for any of it?

My Cleveland started out on fire getting about 8 out of 10 rounds. Then I sent him on the 24 hr chocolate tasks and after that he was ice cold. Zilch after 6 consecutive tasks. Bonnie and Seamus picked up the slack for me so now ive got them all.

WTD? Why do the downstairs neighbors get discounted rent for taking care of the property, for being responsible for things like shoveling the snow, yet they never freagin’ shovel?!! And why do we, the upstairs tenants, not get discounted rent when we are the ones who actually take care of the property?!!!

Oh he already knows. The reduced rent and duties has always been a package deal with whomever rents the downstairs. Unfortunately, they moved in first. I was just venting on how messed up it is. One day (soon) we will snag that apt. Just biding our time.

What the deuce!!! Why is it Cleveland’s 1 hour task is the main way to get membership cards for beautiful Peter. The other two characters are 4 hour tasks.
My daughter has Cleveland and only needs two more membership cards. I wasn’t playing during that event so I don’t have him and I only have 1 membership card. I keep my characters going non stop on their tasks.
Cleveland shouldn’t be the main way to obtain an item!! Ok, done pitching my fit.

Thanks for the heads up on that info, +Francine. I don’t have Cleveland, don’t ever plan on getting Cleveland solely because he and the other clam sucking characters are simply too expensive.
The VD event area looks great. Reminds me of Disneyland. But, I am boycotting this event because the multiple events are too overwhelming and I am NOT buying anymore anything from TinyCo.
And yes, I DO have vision problems. Even though I’m playing on an iPad and have the thing 5 inches from my face I’m still unable to see who’s “love hearts” or who’s “hate hearts” before the timer runs out (my vision is 20/20 at 5″, 20/2000 without specs—I can drive and everything!—close-up vision just sucks). I like the timer thing because then I don’t have a whole bunch of pests walking around town forever. I still have bulldogs roaming and for months had those pesky geek invaders. Annoying.

WTD – Of course Arnold will be 250 claims – just under what I have – and since they messed up Christmas where I not only couldn’t visit neighbors for a few weeks (usually getting 1 claim a day), AND not being able to give neighbors any of the gifts (giving more claims) —- Oh and lets not forget NOT letting us use the 50+ gifts we couldn’t use for anything else, just lost. Grrrrrrrrr

Yeah, but I got more than 200 free clams from Christmas event so if you played during that event you probably earned more than you lost from not being able to visit friends.

I played multiple times during the event, but wasn’t able to get many clams at all – since you had to give and receive gifts from friends to be able to get more – I couldn’t give because they messed up the update, and since I was one of the few on a lower version, other people couldn’t visit me to leave me anything.
You would think they would have LEFT those gifts for after Christmas so everyone had a chance to use them, but nope – they left the other item until after Christmas since everyone had a chance to use those before the Christmas event was over.

What the deuce, why can’t the hate prized be as good as or better than the love prizes. It is harder to hate than love during this event. Also, Why can’t they give better descriptions of the prizes other than a name.

What the deuce! I’m tired of tearing up my town for every event that comes along! Had to tear up all the roads in this one to create a lot to capture the PDA’s in. I have a big well laid out town and trying to chase them down behind buildings is ridiculous. Plus having to shift to add event buildings. I wish TinyCo would give us the option to save versions of our town like in Clash of Clans you can save different bases and switch between them. This way we could have an event town, so we wouldn’t have to tear up our normal town, and maybe something fun like our favorite theme towns. Bunny and Alissa you need to use your powers of persuasion to get TinyCo on this right away. 😉

It’s not a timing thing, I finally figured it out.. But each couple stays either alve couple or a hate couple… So the love couples will stop and have red hearts above them and the guy will “dip” the girl.. They will always look like that.. Whereas the hate couple will stop walking and have Purple Hearts floating above them and the girl will slap the guy, but they never switch from being a love couple to a hate couple .. You just have to watch them unfortunately..

Is it just me or did we used to be able to save building skins in our inventories and now we can’t?! I obviously don’t want my Christmas and Halloween decor up all year but why should I have to repurchase it every single holiday?! Some of those cost a lot of clams!!

Why do bad things happen to good people? I was on my way to get my fiancée the German Shepherd she wanted. We live in Las Vegas and drove to California (about a 4 hour drive) the people that was selling the puppy lied to us. She was NOT 9 weeks old and they said she got her shots. We took her to the vet and she was positive for parvovirus. =( My fiancée has the biggest heart, she did not deserve that. People are so shady and selfish. What THE Deuce! Why people?!

If the dog had her shots recently, I think she can test positive for parvo because the immune system hasn’t flushed out the vaccine yet. You might want to call your vet to ask about it. Regardless, sorry for your bad luck 😦

Well the thing was, they couldn’t and didn’t provide her shot records. People can say whatever they want to get rid of a dog. In part, it was also our fault because we should have seen that from the beginning and marked that as a red flag. We did talk to the vet and he said she had a 50/50 chance of living. Either way, we couldn’t afford the treatment. At least they didn’t put her to sleep. She has a fighting chance if anyone else can afford the treatment. We had to give up rights as owners, it’s too late for us to do anything. =( Next time, we just have to be more careful.

I just lost my 15 yo service dog and I know how much heartache is involved in caring for a sick animal. Sorry you’ve got to deal with it. Be patient though, if the parvovirus is due to the recent shot the dog should pull through. Just love it. Also, don’t forget the leptospirosis shot! My other dog died from that a couple years ago because my ex omitted that one shot (I had her 4 years and gave the shots myself, he took over dog duties when my daughter moved. WTD!). So unnecessarily sad.

don’t buy them from backyard “breeders”. Plenty purebred dogs in shelters. + there they (not as far as i know) will lie to you + they have had their shots etc. Get shelter animals! – for anyone else that is thinking of buying a pet. Sorry Yadira, bit late for ya 😦

It’s so sad that people prey on animal lovers to make money. It’s getting much too common. Bad conditions, over breeding, not paying for immunisations (I’m British) and generally selling expensive puppies just to make money (and not because they love animals). I’m so sorry that happened to you. The only thing I can say to help is that at least you helped to save the puppy from further pain. It’s hard, but the only thing you can do to protect yourselves in the future is to get the breeder to sign paperwork stating the puppy has had all their shots, is free of disease & is healthy. That way, if it happens again, you have proof you were deceived & can take legal action (which could prevent the breeders doing it again & possibly get them time in Jail to reflect on their sad life). It’s so sad that in these times you have to get everyone to put things in writing because of some heartless unscrupulous characters. I hope your fiancée is ok and that you managed to save the puppy. A good breeder of German Shepherd dogs would know they are one of the breeds that are highly susceptible to this virus. I would do anything I could to get those breeders prosecuted to ensure no more puppies are put through it. I know it’s hard to cure & I hope you did not have to lose your puppy. Please know not every breeder is purely financially driven. When I bought my puppy I researched the breeders and got them to send recordings of the puppies with their mother a few times before I drove 200 miles to get him. A good breeder has nothing to hide. A bad breeder will refuse to do that & will be hard to get information on as they often change their names, kennel name & contact information. Tell your fiancée I will say a prayer for you both.

Not really a what the deuce but more of a general question. When I used to check face space, Alien and Freddy Krueger were both in the New Characters area, as I did not get Predator and Jason. Starting yesterday or so though I have noticed that they were put back into the ” The Scary Guys” list. This list shows Predator and Jason blacked out. Does this mean those guys are coming back? I hope so! What do you think? (This happened with the “Comic-Con Celeberties Too” row as well- I have George but not Cryanston or Fillion)

To expand on what was said above, there are 16 couples. 8 are hate and 8 are love. Ideally you should only go for all love or all hate. That is why when 8 of either hate or love are done, the rest disappear.

I asked TinyCo. about that exact same issue because I was very curious and they told me only the characters you bought with clams (Bryan Cranston and Nathan Fillion?) came with their own questlines. The characters we got out of the Best Of 2014 mystery boxes didn’t come with questlines.

Don’t feel bad, I have Chris AND Carter and I’ve only gotten 1 Lipo Machine since I first started collecting for Handsome Peter what like 2 days ago?..maybe 3 idk. && I have them BOTH working non-stop, but Chris is needed for a part or 2 of the questlines also so that kinda backs him up a bit..

I think I must just be really lucky in this game. Every character and building dropped items for Peter & Ida every time. I got Ida in 2 days (though I paid about 40 clams St the end) & Peter within 3 days (no clams used). I’m now 1 task away from getting Arnold in the shop, but 250 clams for a character that isn’t in the show. Seems too high, especially after I got the 2 KISS members. WTD – they were in an episode of FG, yet their sound clips are clearly not taken from the episode. Such sloppy work. This game is getting more expensive and the quality is getting worse. At least give ALL characters voices that sound good & not like a bad recording. That’s the difference between TSTO & FG. EA have better programmers who don’t take short cuts. Come on TinyCo – you make more money making items/clams more affordable & by making premium characters worth getting. I don’t need in game cash anymore (as TinyCo made a mistake when they refunded me cash I had lost. It was meant to be $100,000, but they refunded $10 million 3 times & they won’t correct the mistake saying I can keep it) but at least in TSTO premium characters earn a lot more for tasks than non premium. Sorry, long rant. Rant over!

You’ll get them eventually. I just Carter but I had 5 lipo machine before using him. Got 9 now. The Gazebo helps with getting them.

What the deuce? Why are the hate side prizes so wimpy/useless compared to the love side prizes? I love archery so I went for the hate prize for Quagmire but as far as I can tell it does absolutely nothing. That versus a building that drops valentine’s (and may help with getting characters?) is a big letdown. I feel like the two sides should at least be equivalent in terms of how much they help a player. I’m fine with having to make a choice (valentines cards versus an item drop maybe, or something like that), but I want both choices to have merit.

What the deuce? I’ve already gotten the first two love prizes, but the third love/hate prizes haven’t been unlocked yet. I already started collecting more love hearts, so I really hope I like the next love prize. Hopefully they show us the next prizes soon!

What the deuce….why do I still have fat joggers in my town?!?! I unlocked Phineas and Barnaby quite a while ago. They are just cluttering up my town and causing an already crash – happy game to work harder.

Do you clear them? Or just let them roam? They should disappear and not respawn once you clear them after you unlock Phineas and Barnaby

What the deuce? When I started playing I never had enough coins. I literally spent hours and hours sending characters on one minute missions, and collected coins form the Griffin’s house every thirty seconds while I waited. Now I have thousands and thousands of coins that don’t have much value to my game. I have seen where someone said they wished TC would let you convert coins to clams. Does anyone know howw TC feels about doing that? I don’t think they would do it but they put a real world value on both clams and coins in the shop where you can buy both with real money. So I don’t think it is completely unreasonable to ask for the ability to convert them in the game, even at 500 or 1000 coins for one clam and honestly even if it was more, 5000 or 10,000 to one, we would be able to do something with all those coins.

They could someday, I think you can on the Simpsons game but I have an office farm that earns 10000 an hour so 10000/1 seams unlikely it would be cool though.

Currently I have 3 million coins and I’ve heard of people with 10 million. They will never make a coin to clam converter and explained why already.

It was something along the lines of collapsing the economy but it in a more round about way. They said coins are a way for players to measure progression and as you get further in the game, buildings and land cost more. The buildings you buy also gain more since you have more buildings the more you play. So people that are done with all the districts are sitting on to much coin. If they made coins convertible they would have to lower the value of clans to balance the economy. This, a skin that normally costs 250 would cost much more because the value of a single clam would plummet. As it is now, the cost of skins and buildings is too high in my opinion. Obviously according to their data it isn’t though because people are buying them.

I think you are too optimistic. If they ever let you convert coins to clams, I think it would be at least 50 000 or 100 000 coins for one clam. In this game you have to buy clams, not convert. Money talks… I have Jesus, and even Jesus gives me after 3×24 hours tasks only 2 clams (average), so 2 clams in 3 days. They call it rare drop rate.

Like I said, I don’t think they would do it. I was just wondering if anyone asked TC and got an actual response. As for exchange rate, when you buy clams I think you get 50 for $1.99 and I believe your same $1.99 gets you 3000 coins. But if they ever did it the exchange rate would be nothing close to the value that they put on the clams and coins themselves. Even if the exchange rate was 100,000 or 500,000 or even 1,000,000 for 1 clam, it would be nice if we had the option to do it.

I enjoy having the extra coins it’s like a cushion when land opens up and it’s so expensive it’s good to have 500k for when new areas open. Saying we have so much extra is gonna make them raise prices of land again.

It would be nice but I can’t see TinyCo ever releasing any $ to clams exchange, why would they?
They’re just like any other Business who need to make a profit to survive, which can only be done if people use real money to buy from them, ie clams.
All of my $ were free, ie earned from tasks and rent, so for TinyCo to then buy them back would not make good Business sense, at any exchange rate
